That was very gracious of Janice to grant ET that interview. Despite the issues Bob ultimately had with her, Dian, Holly and Kathleen, it was Janice who was happy to smile about it all and say "I treasure so many memories that we made." Clearly, she has been able to come to terms with it all.

Bob Barker and Betty White I think had a lot of things in common. They both just barely missed their one hundredth birthday. They both had great senses of humor, and their passion and compassion for animals is on another level. I think that that kind of love for animals, you would think they are both looking down and not looking up. They are dancing in heaven today.

Thank God for Janice Pennington to come back into our TV lives, after over 20 years. It’s one thing to miss a true legend like Bob Barker, and I always will (especially since he was so close to his 100th birthday), but the one thing I’m also grateful for, is Janice coming back and sharing her truest feelings about Bob and the show, that she wasn’t able to do, when Barker was still alive.
She still looks so beautiful, at the age of 81, and with that, I hope she continues to find peace and guidance, for the rest of her life, outside of The Price is Right, where I grew to adore her, for all my life.

For 29 years, Janice Pennington served as a model on The Price Is Right, handing the microphone to Bob Barker at the start of more than 5,000 shows. She also handed off to Dennis James and Tom Kennedy while the show was in syndication in 1972-77 and 1985-86, respectively.
During a 1976 syndicated episode, host Dennis James called the mountain-climber character in the Cliff Hangers game Fritz, unaware that Pennington's husband Fritz Stammberger had disappeared while mountain climbing in the mid-1970s. As the contestant lost the game and the mountain-climber figure tumbled over the cliff, James shouted "There goes Fritz!," causing Pennington to run from the stage in tears.
In June 1988, a camera hit Pennington, knocking her unconscious. She was taken to a hospital and taping of the episode resumed after 45 minutes. Pennington's resulting surgery left her with scars and one shoulder shorter than the other; as a result, she could no longer wear swimsuits on the show. A substitute model took Pennington's place during her recovery from the injury.
Pennington's last episode of The Price Is Right was the December 13, 2000, episode following the show's takeover by Pearson Television earlier in the year. She signed a confidential settlement agreement.
It’s great that Janice seems to have gotten over those incidents mentioned above- and she looks great for 81!

Bob was simply the best. You can tell he was the kindest man. When I have memories of me as a child, staying home from school when I was sick, The Price Is Right was one of my reliable remedies. Thank you Bob for your kindness, warmth and entertainment, you will be missed!

....I think it's high time to give credit to "The Beauties"; Holly, Janice & Dian are THE benchmark Game Show Models, and helped make Bob, AND "TPIR", what it is today...Janice granting this Interview shows how classy this trifecta of Models gave the WORLD joy & entertainment....

Dear Price Is Right Family, All of you make our hearts happy. Bob Barker was a wonderful MC who likewise made our hearts happy, and we'll continue the smiles with new episodes as well as old ones. As for Drew Carey, you have held the banner high and are a terrific host as well.

It was sure good to see Janice again speaking on BOB'S life and her relationship with him. She was with him from day one. I'm sorry the others didn't speak on his passing. Although they probably didn't feel the same they could have said something. R.I.P. WGMC You will be missed by lot's of ppl and pets! ❤

The best part is we had him for 35 years on TPIR. There's a Pluto channel just for his episodes. if you played his ENTIRE 72 to 07 episodes it would take up every single day for probably over a decade if you played it 24/7 of all his shows. We had him just be glad we got him for 99 years. He went closest without going over a dollar.

Janice still looks good! I still see Kathleen on Facebook and she still looks great! They could still model if they were given the chance. Summer breaks, sick days and Christmas breaks were the best days watching TPIR, then the noon news and then the stories (aka soap operas) with my nana and mom.

I was born in Dec 1982 and Bob Barker & Janice Pennington always have a special place in my heart throughout my childhood since I was an infant. I still remember when Bob had dark hair and when Johnny Olsen was alive. As a 3 year old kid, I had a chopstick and pretend it was Bob's microphone. When school closed & sick days, The Price is Right is the place to be. Rest well Bob. Tell Mark Goodson thank you.

R.I.P. Bob Barker. Enjoyed watching TPIR on sick days, vacation days or in the summer when school was out for the summer vacation. I bet him, Johnny Olsen and Rod Roddy are having a blast up there. Thanks to Janice Pennington for her interview.

For many Gen X schoolchildren; Bob Barker was the TV grandpa who kept them company when they were home from school due to being sick, if it was during a holiday break, a teachers in-service or if school was out for the summer. Those kids would tune in to their local CBS station just to see Bob and hear his voice.
