We do! We're just beat down by stupid politicians and woke idiots. Based on my private conversations with people from all walks of life is we have had it with this utter nonsense? Canadians actually do care about each other and when Trudeau and Liberals are removed Canada will shine again.
Here after Paris ended. I haven't thought about this song in years, so I decided to check it out again. I never realized just how much I miss this period of time until now.
Same here. Im thinking of becoming and inspirational speaker, so any likes on this comment will help me gather more courage and maybe help me achieve my goal; performing at WE Day. The world shouldn't be judged by power, discrimination or feelings. All the world is equal and should help be united as one, as Nikki states here. This song always inspires me to keep pushing, and to finally get the courage to tell my girlfriend that I have a massive crush on her. It has shaped me into a better person, who looks up to inspirational speakers, like Spencer West and Nikki Yanofsky herself, as role models. She has inspired me since 2010, and has transformed my life into one of the best things ever. A great girlfriend, great friends, a really good school, and many more things. Thank you for taking your time, and don't forget to like this comment to help me reach my goal of WE Day. Peace out to all of you, and God bless your lives
Watching in 2016 and getting a bit emotional when I realized that I still had my little triangular flag- the Coca-Cola sponsored Manitoba ones- sitting on the shelf next to me. They passed them out at my school and all the classes stopped so we could go watch the torch go past. Not to mention that the instrumental for this was also my gymnastics floor music for several years. Lots of memories here. This song is beautiful, just like our country.
I still am in shock that those two weeks have passed by. It's been over a month and I still want them back. I will never forget those two weeks. Although I could not come to Vancouver I felt the olympic spirit down in Ontario. I hope they come back, I am so greatful that we got the chance to share our backyard with the whole world. Go Canada!
I will never forget those two Olympic weeks! I spent so many nights just walking around Robson Square and cheering with my friends and basically everyone on the street. It was amazing and I've never felt or seen so much Canadian spirit before or since. Listening to this song almost makes me cry just reminding me of how proud I am to be Canadian and remembering how awesome those two weeks were! The 2010 Olympics will always have a special place in my heart :) PS. And Nikki has an amazing voice!
I had tears in my eyes listening to this moving song and remembering how wonderful the Olympics were. I was abroad for 10 years and you realize how amazing Canada is when you're away for so long. There is no other country in the world that compares - sometimes you have to walk away for a while to realize it. I love Canada!!!!!!!
This is by far my favorite olympics ever. The atmosphere the gathering of all the nations and friendship and sportsmanship shown in these olympics was magical. What a beautiful show Vancouver 2010 provided us. Forever etched in my memory
I love watching these videos. As a Canadian i've never felt so much pride for my country as I did when Vancouver hosted the 2010 Olympic Games. Our country truly came together and showed our pride and compassion for our country!
Coming of age nostalgic memories for me. Six years definitely flies by. Remembering the mascot-mania, red mitten-mania, crowd-mania, and that stupid pillar that would not erect in the opening ceremonies. (Plus the clown imitating the malfunction in the closing memories :P ) Good times!
Nikki Yanofsky!!! Great Alto voice with total control, usually reserved for those in their twenties, or more, and to give us all the goose-bumps she has with her delivery of such a beautiful song and arrangement.
I can't get enough of this song.... It so emotional! The work and dedication of all athletes and their countrys! Bravo. I love you Canada, I've never been so proud as a canadian!
A year ago... I was in stepping off the plane and into Canada to Believe. That week truly was amazing watching the WORLD celebrate and embrace each other it isn't something you see everyday it only comes every 4 years I can't wait till London to watch the World come together as one. It's makes me proud to be alive I will never forget the any of it the Luge, Skiing, Victory Ceremonies, and Hockey it's seriously my fondest memory! And when I went back in December you could still see I Believe!
This video is breathlessly beautiful. The song makes it even more magical. Such inspiring and powerful message strengthens and heals the spirit and mind of a nation. Good going, Canada!!!!
Still well up with emotion when i watch this. I volunteered in Whistler and became officially Canadian on Feb 25th 2010. 2010 is Truly one of the best years of my life. i would wind the clock back to Feb 12 in a heartbeat.
Born in Canada, but now and American. These Olympics were so great, Canada did such a great job in all aspects, from the athletes, to th City of Vancouver, I felt so much pride in my homeland. This song just caps it all off.
omg I remember the vancouver winter olympic days, I was like in 3rd grade and like 7 years old and I remember watching the big opening ceremony, and we had party that nigh and all my friends were their and I was wearing my red canada olympic t-shirt that I still have tucked away in my basement and omg its so emotional
I lived in Calgary through the 1988 Olympics here and I was lucky enough to be here again to see the torch relay for Vancouver 2010 pass through - and yes I went down to the route with my red mitts all wrapped up in the Canadian flag to cheer on the torch. Seeing these images along with this amazing song manages to choke me up all over again. Of all the things I may be, first and foremost is Canadian and I am proud of our country for coming together when it matters.
I remember that the torch relay went past my high school and it was so great because everyone at our school waited for after school instead of going home, because who would want to miss such an event and then I remember they were handing out olympic coca cola glass bottles to everyone there.
this artist nikki yanofsky has made us canadian's so proud of who we are as we all united at the olympics and opened our lives to other country. this song made me stand up with pride of being a canadian
My cousins ran with the torch. Heck it’s still on display at our school. I remember it clearly, as they were running, they gave me a high five and a hug. It was the best. We even had the local radio station giving out those glass bottles of coke. I never screamed or waved so hard in my life!
I am a proud Canadian but living in Vancouver during the Olympics was the proudest i have ever been to be Canadian. I was fortunate enough to here our natiional anthem twice (Mens Curling and Womens Hockey) live and next to meeting my wife and having a baby this was the greatest feeling i have ever had. The Olympic legacy will be with us for a long time and i for one was proud to be a part of it.
I remember the 2010 Olympic Games. I was a new mom and got to take my son to see the Olympic torch go through Walkerton, on. He was sleeping the whole time but I remember seeing it go through and I was crying like a baby. I tell him to this day he got to be around for the most special Olympic Games in the world. I swear that torch spread magic around our country. Those two weeks were different than any other I have experienced.
the writer of this song is a Judge on Canada's Got Talent. Thank you Stephan for the gift you gave us with this amazing song but also for blessing us with the incredible voice of Nikki Yanofsky. Couldn't imagine any thing better!!!!!
I BELIEVE!!!! Its amazing what this olympics has done to all of us here in Canada. We have found our inner spirit and setting it free to the world! Thankyou to all of our athletes for bringing our world together...as one.
i can't believe the olympics were already so many months ago! i miss coming home from school everyday and watching them. i'm so proud to be canadian =]!!!

These 17 days have been amazing -- I have never ever experience something so moving and so totally inspiring on this large of a scale within my country - it's like everything inside our hearts came out for all the world to see - and I think the world now knows what Canada is really about . I have forever been proud of my country and forever proud to be a Canadian I Love Canada and now the rest of the world knows why :)
Never in my life did I think of Canada this way. Now, Canada is one of the top countries in my "Must visit" list. It just looks so awesome with all the smiles.

Canadians have always been proud of there country but when the olympics came I seen pride I have never seen before it was breathtaking the way we all came together!
I am a proud Canadian but living in Vancouver during the Olympics was the proudest i have ever been to be Canadian. My God I Miss Those Times. 😢 Canada only 13 years later, is not the same.😕 We are watching here, is a time that will never be repeated. 😒 In a country that sadly no longer exists. 😔
I believe is this sentiment! A great song, an inspirational song, one that all can be moved by! We all have something to contribute, this song lifts us up to achieve our goals!
My knees are shot, back is bad, but I would give anything to be skateing over that unending piece of ice, what a rush it would be, skate forever and back, remind me of skateing down the old nation river when I was a kid, I love this video.
This video brought tears to my eyes. It is really too bad I missed the Olympics and the celebrations as I was in Berlin. Even from across the Atlantic I was proud to tell Germans I am a Kanadier!
