I really like how you sew the patchwork together with the machine and then sew the edges down with the blanket stitch. I think this is a way more logical way to do applique. I will think about how to do it on a quilt.

I'm fascinated by your work, you are so creative! Could you tell me what sort of sewing machine you use? I can see that one is a Juki lockstitch machine but I don't know the other one, that produces the more decorative stitches across the face of your work.
I think you are talking about the saddle stitching machine. It is from the brand called Japsew.

For the hat it took about 25-30 hours from pattern to finish!

Thank you for watching! The weights are the bottom part of some dice tool. So weight can be anything👍
