What would you do without your Japsew Machine and that beautiful quilting stitch? I think it must be worth it’s weight in gold. It must have taken a while to master. I sit and watch your videos, dreaming, I love to hand sew & quilt - but that machine... takes it to the next level. I also adore that you make clothing and everyday items into art, items that speak a thousand words by themselves. Your bag will be full of whispers, thoughts and echos of previous wearers. What kind of stich do you use at 2:45?
I've started working on a boro jacket but I can get figure out what type of stitches i should use.
That is the saddle stitching machine from Japan! I use both hand & machine sewing!
Do you ever explain the creative process for your work? I’m dying to hear you explain why you do certain things and not others... I don’t do much sewing, maybe because the only sewing I do is all by hand, but you’ve inspired me to do more sewing. Oh, and another question... do you place the patches in between two layers of fabric with fusible web?
