Feel that noisy AF on the Fuji should have been talked about FAR MORE in everyone's initial review of this camera. The focus hunting to go along with that noise would drive me. nuts. Had a X-T10, X-T20, X-T4, X100V, X-T5 and X-H2 (plus dozens of lenses). Have always had problems with AF and had to heavily rely on manual focus. Even for static subjects, relying on AF-S for landscapes was a recipe for disaster. Then tried a Sony A7R for a weekend and couldn't believe how good the AF was. Purchased one days after. I bought an x100v in 2020, it is at 29.000 shots, I use af-s only and I focus and recompose. The autofocus has been flawless and my images are always sharp. Same with my x-t5 which I bought in 2023. Its great if you love shots of eyebrows, chins, tree branches, chests, elbows, but not eyes. Never eyes.
