Listening to this made me realize just how impactful near-unnoticeable background music is. Even if I don't listen to the music or properly hear it, it erases so much awkward silence.
Its interesting to see that garnt, mainly a youtuber, when talking has alot of body gesture n motion which is use often because they make videos. And mainly streamers, toast and scarra, rarely move their hands(they still do, just not as often and as big of a motion). In fact, scarra has the resting one hand on mouse position even when theres no keyboard and mouse infront of him.
I don't think that really has to do with him being a youtuber vs streamer. I think it's just him being a better presentational speaker from doing Trash Taste for multiple years.
It shows having an experienced podcasteris worthwhile. Not having the downtime between sentences nad keeping the conversation flowing made this the best episode with regards solely to the viewing aspect

Man, I really want to talk manga with Scarra. Like, he's kinda writing off Fire Force's story even though it was never really bad and it gets absolutely bonkers later on. What Ohkubo did with it is honestly genius.
Hearing them talk about Oshi no Ko is just so nice and how Garnt explained the scenes happening inside the manga is on point. As a reader I'm really happy since Oshi no Ko is getting recognized because it IS a GEM! Also, Oshi no Ko will also have an anime on 2023 so I'm really hyped about it. This is a sign you should read Oshi no Ko. Trust me it's worth it.
I liked the talk about watching anime on stream, I think there is a HUGE hole in the streaming market not being taken advantage of, where streaming companies approve specific shows for limited times to be streamed. People will watch basically anything in a community as part of an audience with a livechat that they wouldn't watch alone, it's super fun to watch something in a community and with a streaming personality who you enjoy. Free up old shows to build hype for sequels, free up old shows just to advertise your service as a sponsor, allow pilot episodes of new shows to build hype. So many possibilities exist out there

Only watched the first 10 minutes and I’ve definitely never heard of this OTV podcast (this got recommended to me because I’m a Trash Taste fan and originally a fan of the boys) but I am super impressed with how comfortable Garnt seems here. Jumping into a podcast with people who (I’m assuming) he’s not that close with and has never podcasted with can’t be an easy task. Grant came off as super professional.
Same but the other way around. Never really watched Trash Taste before and a massive fan of OTV but this is a different vibe than their other podcasts episodes. Its fun to see the guest becoming the host ( and a freaking good one) and the hosts becomes the guests. You can clearly see the difference when you put a seasoned professional to helm the show. Best episode viewing wise.

I'm so happy the Gigguk episode is with Toast and Scarra. Toast is so good at leading a podcast and Scarra's perspective is so interesting. Great episode! i hope you also have the other Trash Taste guys on

Only watched the first 10 minutes and I’ve definitely never heard of this OTV podcast (this got recommended to me because I’m a Trash Taste fan and originally a fan of the boys) but I am super impressed with how comfortable Garnt seems here. Jumping into a podcast with people who (I’m assuming) he’s not that close with and has never podcasted with can’t be an easy task.
Grant came off as super professional.
Same but the other way around. Never really watched Trash Taste before and a massive fan of OTV but this is a different vibe than their other podcasts episodes. Its fun to see the guest becoming the host ( and a freaking good one) and the hosts becomes the guests. You can clearly see the difference when you put a seasoned professional to helm the show. Best episode viewing wise.

Scarra has the best takes on anime and manga I've heard from an influencer. It shows that he reads a lot.
