@@danielwarren3138 Windsor bath's in Bradford, it used to be a bath house then became a music venue but now it's gone and became a crappy pub chain.
Back in the 90's it was a great place to see music, just round the corner from the university of Bradford.

Watched Jools' show on Saturday and genuinely couldn't believe he played it. One of NG's all-time great b-sides finally getting the recognition it deserves.

This is a great song, and he sings it exactly like he did when he wrote and recorded it all those years ago. This song like so many of Noel’s, sounds to me like a intelligent sensitive, sensible human being, crying out for the world to recognise his desire, his talent and his uncompromising positivity. He sang, the world heard, and he was truly recognised. An proper positive inspiration to a generation. 😎✌️🖖🎸🇬🇧👊

It has the strings but it really needs those Bacharach style soft horns. That's probably why it never got played live. You need a mini orchestra live to do it justice - same as the masterplan. Still, very cool for him to revisit it after all these years. Gorgeous song.

What a BSide, I used to listen to this single on repeat as as a 16 year old kid. This eclipses anything he's done since Oasis for me-and its 25 years old, yet I really enjoyed the Jools Holland set, his new stuff works much better live than on record in my opinion anyway.
Agreed in regards to the new album sounding better live! I just saw him in Toronto.
The b sides on Be Here Now's singles were better than most of the songs ON Be Here Now .
I feel like that's the case for any Oasis single after WTSMG

Funny thing is that Noel’s voice hasn’t changed a single bit in the last 20 years 😂
Check your ears. I've noticed a change ever since the pandemic. Maybe not with his tone, but he sounds a little raspier and can't hit the high notes as good as he could a few years ago. That's why he uses a lot of backing vocals now too.
@@Madferit91I agree his voice has definitely changed, he used to sing in a higher register. For example he used to play Half the World Away with a capo on 2nd fret (Barrowlands 2001), and now he plays it capo on 4th to accommodate for his voice changing.

@@felina7849 I love the roses,was at the empress ballroom in 89,the roses and oasis are my 2 favourite bands,obviously the roses were first and basically imo if it wasnt for them I dont think they would be a oasis,surely u must know oasis were and still are more popular,the roses as much i love them were horrendous live,oasis live are the best and always will be,their B sides are fuckin classics,mani even says oasis are the best band to come out of Britain,so for seeing the roses and oasis 6 times a think I know enough pal

Temazo bastante infravalorado si los hay. Lo que noto en esta gira es q la voz de Noel está rara.. bastante desafinada en algunos recitales también.

Aparte hay que tomar en cuenta que fumo cigarrillos por casi 30 años, eso jode arto la voz la verdad. Yo creo también que debe ser que como hace poco de iba a divorciar, se ha estado descuidando, comiendo más y tomando más.

I predicted he was about to start running into vocal issues and lose his voice and it seems I’ve been proven right. I called when I saw the Mind Games was covered a whole tone lower and he didn’t go for the high note at the end.
It’s just the wear and tear and singing over the years. I actually think if he was singing as regular as Liam had to in the 90s, he’d have run into difficulty much earlier. Noel really struggled with a full Oasis set in the 90s (listen to Rosemont horizon or the Depot 1997) which is staggering because those songs were written in keys he was comfortable with.

I understand that he wrote this song after a massive fight with Liam in the USA, taking off and quitting the band - only to join a few days later.
The first verse is obviously a dig at his brother. Probably also the reason why he never played it live.

Not good: it's not a good mix by the show engineer and I am having difficulties to adapt my ears to his new vocal style (I think it doesnt suit him).
He sounds like he’s trying to out on an accent or something in the verses. The choruses are fine, but the verses are rough
