- “The Birds” actress Tippi Hedren was reportedly diagnosed with dementia. A representative for the actress reportedly confirmed her diagnosis, saying she "can't remember her career." After her movie career ended, she became an animal rights activist. She’s also the matriarch of a great acting dynasty. Her daughter, Melanie Griffith, starred in the 1988 film “Working Girl.” Her granddaughter, Dakota Johnson, just hosted “Saturday Night Live.”
So sad, my grandma had dementia and died at 94. Prayers for Tippi.
Rip🙏🏻

My aunt died at 97 from it
I’m so sorry. It’s the cruelest disease I’ve seen. ❤
Prayers to Tippi Hedren and family
I didn't even know she was still alive. She was gorgeous in The Birds.
She was gorgeous.
Yeah she was hot.
Awe man... love her. The birds is one of my favorite movies

Another entitled family dynasty
She lives with Giant lions.

My mom is 94yrs and she has dementia it’s not very easy handling that some days she’s good and other days she repeats the same day over and over again
Some time it's blood sugar...my dad is 96.. he seems to get worse when he either sneaks sweets or has them.. 😊
God bless Tippi Hedren. An old favourite from The Birds and Marnie.
The Birds is in my top 5 favorite Hitchcock films.
I liked her in Marne.
I love the birds and pray she gets cured by from dementia and god heals her 🐦⬛🦁🐴🐘🦬🐃🦓🦈
I don't think anyone gets cured of dementia. That happens when they get old.
didn't even know she was still alive.
I think I would rather die then forget all the good times & bad times I lived through
I don't even know who she is
She's Melanie griffins mom I think@@Xane_Dragon
Ah sad yep my aunt same thing but hey she had a great career and a voice that melts your heart ❤and the love she had for animals wow !! Like most she had her ups and downs ..love from Canada and Ty for the great movies I enjoyed so much ❤❤🇨🇦🇨🇦💐

nooo! she has a good heart :(. She doesn't deserves this
That's a shame but not so bad since she is already 94. My mom is turning 74 next month and has Alzheimer's.
Oh man, that’s young! Stay blessed.
Curable too. Primal diet.
@@KE-yq2eg How so?
I love old movies.
Name your favourites.
Gone with the Wind, Citizen Kane, Chinatown.
Same, way better than now.
Very sad
why does everything have to tie in to wendy for Christ's sake?
Everything didn't tie in with Wendy Williams.
They only mentioned Wendy 2 times
Tippi and Wendy, both of them have dementia.
News did the same thing to Wendy, they mentioned Bruce Willis has the same type of dementia, Frontalobe dementia
It's called connecting similarities for an audience.
SHE'S 94 peoples!!
Wow, I just found out she grew up in the same city I did, Edina Minnesota. Edina Highlands was my elementary school. So proud as she was one of my favorite actresses. I pray her dementia ceases.
Have heard of her didn't know she was even still alive
I had honestly assumed the thumbnail was AI she looks so good bless her. Wishing her all the best. 🇬🇧
Very upsetting about one of my favorite actresses.. she's so beautiful ❤️ and a great actress tbe birds Marnie. Well she had a great bunch of girls who love her and will take care of her. When we get old things happen to us. You must deal with it and take it day by day.
Is she being given a court appointed guardian??????
As a hospice nurse,this happens! Our brains start to shrink,especially @ 94!😢
Jeez, that sucks..doesn't get much sadder and scarier than dementia..
Tippi Hendren in her heyday was a gorgeous woman.
Very sad 😢
Amazing classy lady! Always have been a fan
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo😢
🦅
Can option 2 be done in a fireteam?
Tippi Hedren also acted in Hitchcock's Marnie in 1964.
So sad ...she was a gorgeous actress!!
First Wendy now Tippi… Not our beloved Tippi..
So sad my grandpa is 88 and has dementia
Someone who talk rubbish about Alfred Hitchcock like she did must have dementia. Yea when she was young she was extremely beautiful and also talented. But it was really ignorant and disrespectful to talk like this about Hitchcock. Because no other Hitchcock actress ever said something like this. Experts even said that her story changed and didn't fit. But i still wish her the best.
I never saw The Birds before, but the film looks very interesting. I had no idea she is Melanie Griffith's mom and grandmother of Dakota Johnson. I hope Tippi gets through this 🙏🙏🙏
I liked "The Birds" Movie because I liked Rod Taylor as he was the male lead. I was not a fan of the movie "Marnie" because I thought it made Sean Connery look bad in it. All in all, I am a fan of Hitchcock movies.
1/19/1930
At least she’s not dead yet.
Love her in Marnie (1964)
Wishing Tippi well. She can’t even remember her career. 💔
It is an awful thing...glad she made it to 94
Aww that sucks because she is really dope
Birds is a classic
Alfred Hitchcock was everything
Dementia really affects basic memory then interrupts co ordination
A Nordic beauty ❤❤❤❤
At 94 ,what do you expect?
Dementia isn't a typical part of aging. Your risk factor goes up as you age but the majority of elderly don't ever get it.
@@mrquirky3626 They think 50% of people over age 80 will get it.
My dad's 96.. some time it's blood sugar... Really is a factor..
Not going to lie, with all of these dimensia diagnoses recently being announced -- It wouldn't suprise me, aside from genetics, if it is partly to do with all of the perservatives and lack of quality produce / meats we consume in the United States. Other countries don't have such high rates of dimensia as the US does with proper nutrition. It makes sense a world full of people need to be fed, but we need quality food to nourish our bodies. Rest in peace. 😔
Wendy is an alcoholic. Her son said the docs said it was alcohol induced dementia. Dementia hits 55 million worldwide
So alllll of a sudden everyone coming down with dementia 🤔
Everyone?it's only three celebs out of thousands that were talked about that have it. Plus it's not all of if a sudden bec 55 million people have dementia worldwide
Mormor :(
There's crazier stuff happening in this world... this isn't even a conversation starter😂
You can say that everything there is something crazier in the world. Still this is entertainment and celebrity news channel also. If you don't like it the news that is reported on or care to know what happened with celebrities in these films we all watched the don't click on it.
why is everyone getting dementia? is this bcoz of covid stress?
People were getting dementia before covid
Everyone? It's only three that were named. We don't even know how long this actress had it. Just bec it's reported on now doesn't mean she just got it. Wendy's dementia is due to her being an alcoholic. I don't know about Bruce Willis.
This disease hit 55 million worldwide before corona
People have been getting this disease before corona and it's not everyone
She should run for president..
I thought she was dead! Jesus, can’t we start a real “recycling” program already?!
Who cares
Some of us do.
People who want a cure for it do. People who have compassion do. My Mom had it and died from it at 76.
It's sad... honestly some doctors pin that label on folks..my dad's 96...yes he gets foggy but he still thinks like an electrical engineer.. he smart with quips and excuses when he wants to avoid the doctors lol .. but we noticed that when he has sugary food the so called dementia is worse
You clicked on it
@@hamesh3474 Sugar produces dementia and hastens it.
She's 300 yrs. old. Whattaya expect
Last of the great Hollywierd actresses. I wonder what she has to say about Hollywood now that it is a cesspit.
She can't remember her career, so probably not much.
You mean as opposed to her time in Hollywood when Hitchcock made her time on The Birds a living nightmare? Read up on it, Hollywood has always been brutal, especially on their actresses.
