What if you first went right for some time then left for some time, so that your displacement is less than your distance travelled, or even might be zero if you return to the same point, then your velocity will differ from your speed not only by sign but by the absolute value as well
Really confusing terms, speed and velocity. We generally talk vehicle motion in terms speed. But laws of motion equations involve velocity. I think if an object travels in a straight path (linear) irrespective of direction,it's speed and velocity are same.
Velocity simply has a rate of change (Delta) or theres an acceleration at anytime so it computes what is the total average unlike speed is already assume you travel in constant value. Correct me if im wrong 😬
Thank you so much incredible teacher!!!
You're very welcome!
You're awesome! I really love your classes, easy to understand even if I'm not a native English speaker, thank you so much from 🇧🇷!
Great class ❤
Thank you! 😃
HII IM EARLY I love your videos
Thank you so much!
Brilliant.
Nice 👍
Well needed explanation 👍

Yes and if you go back to the starting point your average velocity is zero!

Very handy
