I use the wallet app every morning for my gym access card. Now that I have the cards added I may try to use it more

I definitely use my Apple Watch instead of the phone very convenient. Love my designer watches, but I always default to the Apple Watch on my every day usage.

TEAM APPLE PAY!!!❤❤❤ I use it faithfully :) Gr8 vid. Just wished they let us add more cards into it, Im already filled to the max of 16 cards in my Apple Wallet.
Ah I didn't know there was a 16 card limit. Wonder why if it's all digital space, I'm guessing some sort of security?
@@RJFinancial - I wanna say 3 or 4 yrs ago the limit use to be 12. And yeah, maybe it is some sort of security digital space for the limit. But hopefully the let us get more cards on it.
I'm curious, say chase freedom flex has an offer of 10% off mcdonalds, and you activate it, then pay for the order at the restaurant with apple pay using the freedom flex...will you get the 10% back? I've heard mixed results if apple pay counts as an eligible purchase for some credit card offers.

I have Apple Pay on my iphone and Samsung pay on my Galaxy. Samsung pay works at almost all point of sale systems/retailers. Apple Pay only works at a few.
Samsung can use the NFC technology or it can interact with the magnetic strip reader.
To use Apple Pay, the retailer has to not only have the right hardware, but also agree to apples terms and conditions. Samsung pay even works at most places where the clerk says “we don’t have that here”

Hold your device near the POS and double click the power button. The NFC will pick it up from there

I tend to use it when I forget my wallet. Left my wallet a few times in the car or at home and this is a good backup.

HELP please. I am setting up Apple Pay for very first time and have to verify my card. When I click on Verify I get a pop up message that says
“Cannot verify at this time. Please try again in a few minutes.” This has been going on for over two hours. I shut my phone down, restarted, same message appears. This is a Visa card issued by Costco
Is there another setting I need to adjust on my iPhone 14?
I'd guess an issue with Citi bank talking to Apple pay network. May have to get Citi to look into it. Which will be hard to do as they're likely to blame the other party.
When i go to wallet it keeps saying “ To add cards,keys, tickets and passes to wallet,look for the add to wallet button in apps emails and websites yet that’s where i am, can anyone help please
They mean in a dedicated app. For example, if you open your boarding pass in the Delta app there's a button that says add to Apple Wallet. Not all apps have this

It is but Chase doesn't seem to care. I've been doing it for years now. I'll do it for any category. Groceries is the easiest as they have a big selection of cards. Gas stations, PayPal, etc. They all sell GC's

Nope. There’s an option in some states to add your ID to Apple wallet but it’s not a requirement for Apple Pay

I haven't tried. Most places charge a fee for instant transfers simply because they can. I know Chase and some of the larger banks can do instant ACH's usually for no charge
Good video RJ... I've been using Google Wallet before Apple Pay was a thing but I highly recommend using mobile wallets🫡
I’ll have to borrow a Samsung phone and do google or android pay. The folding phone is the one I’d get of course
@@RJFinancial lol, I have the Galaxy Fold 3 and the Galaxy S22 Ultra. I film with the S22 Ultra and I've showed the Fold 3 in my First video.
Samsung Pay was great from 2015-2021 when it worked on every card reader, regardless of how old it was. But in 2022 they got rid of the MST tech that made that work so I started using Google Pay again
