almost every video I cry because of how happy I am for you! lol. thank you Dana, the way you put things into perspective always leaves me feeling grateful for life 💛
The last part about finding child-like joy in everything really spoke to me. I got too focused on my to do list and just stressing about it all the time that I think I'm slowly loosing enjoying every part of it, although I've always tried to and it's something I really want to do in life! Thank you for this reminder Dana
I have wanted to do this with my partner (me receiving the tattoo) for a while, just general phrases or simple iconic pictures that embody a moment in my life, either with them or moments that felt like a development. Hope the healing is completely healthy!
You just making your home better and better, it is looking amazing. You will build your home and as the containers, it will be perfect, Lou has a skill set second to none. Little Max is just a wee chatterbox. That tattoo is so special. Take care guys and stay happy. Your dreams will come true ❤
My son (7) was really sick with a cold for a week too. It was really bad. His fever finally broke. Today is the first day he’s finally feeling better. Still recovering though.
I have been following you guys from I think just before covid. The year before that is when I decided I wanted o do amper life and travel which lead me to find the life of Odie. Been watching of and on since then. Made many different drawings and plans since then. I am in Horseheads NY. Learning your in upstate ny and are of grid has made me decide that in 4 days I will be converting my Ford edge into a camper for me and my cat. I will be able to pay my car off faster then buy land and just do what I've wanted to do for years. In 2 weeks I will officially be starting my off grid adventure. Just wanted to say thanks for the inspiration.
The style of your playground reminds me so much of the nature playgrounds here in Germany.. or Waldkindergarten 🙂 I've seen old fire hoses put in as swinging parts or hammocks or just moving parts.. hanging bridge maybe.. Also what'd be cool is some kind of crane or pully or transport thingy from the sandbox to the structure 🙂
What a pity, that you didn`t have chickens yet, because they would have loved the pea husks.....and did you know, that you can snap off the upper shoots of the pea plant as salad, it just tastes like the peas itself, really sweet, please try it next time. Its usually one of the first greens of the year and the side effect is, that the peaplant will branch out then and give you more harvest. Btw the garden looks great!
DANA, SEED harvesting is a great thing because you know THOSE seeds will be successful in your zone. Amazon has a few great seed harvesting books. I will update this with the name one of my favorite homesteading channel uses, you might love them❤ The Hollar Homestead ❤. Meg and Ben are genuine, about your ages, and totally doing it. The both of them have so much they share in a loving family setting. Not syrupy, just real❤
Aaww, Max is so smart. Love the name Max. My son's name is Max too. Only mine is 37. And made my first computer at 16. Plus, it's still running. Haha, so smart! Love it! Great video! ❤Have a great day!
Yeah, I quit growing those kinds of peas because they take so much work to eat them. I only grow snow peas these days. Those can be eaten raw and cooked.
Jamaica 🇯🇲 here blessings to you and your family thanks for the post I was unsubscribes don’t know how but happy to catch up with you take care and be safe
May not be too late for carrots (smaller?) and there are lots of onion family substitutes. The moment you realize you should plant what you want to eat is magical!
Found you're channel a couple of days ago ( it was the time laps of container 3). Was hoping for more of that, I watched from when you moved to NY until now. Along the way I wondered why you don't shoe more of you're builds? I could say many things but I'm sure I would be chastised for it. Wat I will say is that the video that brought me to you is you're most watched by far since you moved to NY. I wish you luck in all you do but I will not be subscribing. If I wanted to listen to someone talk I would listen to a podcast.
I hope y'all have done your research on tattoos. The latest is a strong correlation with lymphoma. In my field of rehab, the physical therapists who had to study on cadavers say they could trace the tat ink, even to the color(!!) back to the liver!! For clean living people, I'm surprised Lou is tatting!!!
Another lovely and inspiring vlog.🪷 I think it’s so nice to see the joy you find in the successes and also the challenges. And I just love the tattoo design! Did you use a kit? If so may I ask what kind? Hugs in the meantime.🥰
This one hit different.. Embracing a life of play.. thanks again for another beautiful video ❤
Lou is such a hard worker. And i mean the work he is doing everyday is so hard and heavy.
hahaha very accurate!! Thanks for making us laugh :)
So much “ beauty in a 2 year old”, especially when we listen to them!
Glad to see your faces ! Keep thriving❤️
So true ❤ thank you!! hope you are doing so well!!
So cool to see Lou making adjustments to the playground on the fly while Max tests it out 😃

Sitting here taking a break from developing some 4x5 film and having the last coffee for the day. Thank you for all the content over the years.
aw ❤ thank you so much for sharing that beautiful moment, really touched that our video could be a part of your lovely sounding day :)
Do you have a dehydrator? You could dry some of your mushrooms, peas, blueberries for winter if so.
It was very nice to just wait one week for the new video Dana ❤❤❤❤ looking gorgeous as always even in your pj's ❤❤❤❤❤❤ muah

I hope Max is getting good socialisation with the general public but I'd trust you guys to be my parents so I'm sure he's good :)
Being with his family is the best socialization. Besides they talk about the play dates they have and outings with friends.
This video is very therapeutic... idk why.
Aw that is so nice of you to say :) makes us happy to hear!!
