Engine:
-small port redtop 16v 4age. 8500rpm redline
-individual throttle bodies (silvertop)
-SQ Engineering 210mm stacks.
-crower 280 cams
-megasquirt pnp engine management
-hks valve springs
-ported head
-adjustable fidanza cam gears
-msd ignition
-no name 4 to1 header
-2.25 exhaust.
Naturally Aspirated for the fking win!
Why this sounds like the ae86 on need for speed underground 2
Cause underground 2 had good engine sounds
Because this is an ae86 so of course sounds the same
i did 134 whp on hks 264 cam in/ex, fresh rebuild, and bt itb on adaptronic, ae92head+block. temp 34'c and humidity 85%. great numbers sir....oh on mustang dyno.

huh. for some reason, this popped into my feed in 2023, many years after the initial posting. Sounds great! And those are some great numbers for this engine. I actually worked with Bob from Drift Office for my own '85, he got me some TODA cams, 264int/256ex. Back in.. 2010 I think.. Running stock ECU and intake manifold, ended up with 133.0whp and 107-ish tq on a Dyno Dynamics eddy current dyno, then a few years later 122/105 on a Mustang dyno.. My car was an autoX/soloII beast for awhile until the ol' tinworm of the Rust Belt got to it. Working on getting the drivetrain into a nice clean '86 coupe now.

You do realize it's an 80s Corolla right? It's not going to make a lot power, hell nothing older than 2004 will without boatloads of money. Hell why make fun of the price when your suggested swap is more money and effort than just buying something that already has a better engine 💀
@@RyuusanFT86 what are u talking about lol 2jz 1uz bmw m54 motors, even miatas make power with less than 1k-2k dude... speedyefi ecu can be had for like 300-400$ cheaper than megasquirt does all the same shit and more not restricted open coding and source. easily get a garret turbo from junkyard rebuild it with genuine parts and it will last just as long as a new 1 dude.

@@wrencheverydayohiyokosaima7257 Jesus Christ, calm down kid. AE86s are expensive but not that out of control unless you're dealing with import fees and dealership markups. Second, none of these swaps you're mentioning are any cheaper than 7500 in just parts alone. Even If you can fabricate all your hardware and do your own tuning and labor, you're still looking at around 5k in parts and over 80 hours of labor if you're some kind of master builder. Please go back to class and maybe enroll and some kind of automotive program.
