HIDDEN LAKE - TALI KARNG...AN ICONIC BUSHWALK IN THE VICTORIAN HIGH COUNTRY
Вставка

- After being thwarted by Gale-force winds on our previous attempt, we venture back to tackle a classic High Country Trek - Lake Tali Karng. Hidden in a steep valley and cut off to vehicle access, our journi into 'the lake' across the picturesque Wellington Plains followed by the steep descent and subsequent ascent certainly test our resolve. Are we up to it...do we have what it takes - we certainly hope so!

Paul what fantastic country
Thanks for sharing your trip the Tali Karng. I walk there many times from 1980 to 1988 from my first secondary school and also when finish school. I also walk about walking 12 times in 8 years and also we got camping on lake too. I walked around the lake, swam , camping and stay there between 3 to 6 days. We walked through many crossing Wellington River from Clive Lanigan Track. I am 57 year old now and now miss this. But I don’t think visit near now, so thank you
Some great memories there.
Good one 😊
Thanks 😊
I’ve often wondered what it was like down to the lake, great video. Thanks Paul and family.
Not often, you see families getting together like this great job❤
Thanks 👍
Thanks Paul , Mum and the lad for taking us on this wonderful trip . This country , the scenery , the weather etc is always changing , it definitely is “Gods country” .
Thanks for coming along with us.
Paul
I think I pulled a hammy just watching this journi!
Had exactly the same problem with socks recently. Have walked for work and for fun for much of my life, then suddenly I was getting blisters on the bottom of my feet during the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail walk. Changed sock brands to a bamboo sock and also to the newer style Explorers and the problem vanished. Will try the socks you recommend and see how they go. Regards
Looks like a great trip. Did you do all these trips and camps growing up with your family mate?
Grew up walking and skiing in the High Country with Family, School and Scouts...and still doing it!
Awesome trip Paul, mum and lad 👌👌👌
Keep up the great work!
Do you have a list of the gear you used on this trip mate?
Pack, sleep system, cooking, etc?
I have added some details in the video description...hope that helps?
