How many miles on your 2022 Ford F-150 XLT 3.5 liter EcoBoost? The pistons do look pretty clean deposit-wise. I'm guessing the "dual" fuel injection (direct fuel injection as well as traditional port fuel injection) does help control these deposits.
It has 32k miles right now. Yeah it does help, but also running higher octane fuel is helpful.
Cool! My 2022 Ford F-150 XLT Super Cab 2.7 liter EcoBoost has under 20K miles. I've always used Kwik Trip 91 octane "premium" top tier non-oxy fuel in my truck.
@kriswinger9391 Good. These trucks love ethanol, I always use 91 or better with 10% ethanol.
That wedge gap tool is not good to use with fine wire electrodes. A flat or better wire gauge is a better tool.
It works pretty good. I’ve always used it. The gap doesn’t need to be excessively perfect.
@@BoostKingMatt It not the gap accuracy but the chance of damaging the electrodes, they are kinda fragile.
