I use trip A for gas fillups and trip B for oil changes. Of course I reset the oil life meter also.

I have one on driver and passenger side. I empty them every ~3 months or so...or when I remember to. The passenger side always has about an ounce of gunk. Don't think I've ever had any on the driver side.

BS no if only air is going by the valves, no build up. Past the throttle body is black...from the egr and pvc.

You know the recent PCM update recall. What is your take on it if you're tuned? You said you should always get your truck updated to the "latest and greatest" calibration but my state doesn't have emissions laws.

I'm old old school with turbo engines. Give me dual road draft tubes and plug off the rest. LOL

How do you get that whistle? I’ve got the high flow cats from CF no resonator and banks cat back loud as heck but no whistle like that. Is that from the upgraded turbos?

Spd downpipes n exhaust?

NO, had on on my Ecoboost F150 and one of the check valves failed resulting in over pressuring the crank case and blew oil all up my windshield while pulling a 10k pound camper up a hill. Luckily it blew past the fill cap and didn't blow out seals. I took it off and back to stock and ran the truck until I sold it for a Ram Cummins with ZERO issues.

Can I put this on a 2.7 truck?

Tuned 2.3 eco boost here, j&l catch can since new. It catches small amount that doesn’t end up in my intercooler. So it works.

2020 Tuned 2.7 EB, running an UPR catch can. On mine it catches significant oil / vapor residue which translates in cleaner intake pipes as those vapors will not be running through the intake system. For me. it does help on that part, and it is totally worth it.

Is this compatible with powerboost?

Most Americans don't care since they don't keep a truck for long

I have a 15’ 2.7 with 105k mi. No motor problems yet. I change oil every 5k 100 percent synthetic. Thanks for info.

Got them… then a few weeks later ended up getting the SPD trombone… sounds fantastic .

I run one on my '18 f150 2.7l and one on my '18 lincoln Navigator 3.5l. The 3.5l catches twice as much as the 2.7l. I think it's not necessary on either. I've had zero issues... so far. I'm running K&N catch cans on both btw.

TL:DR: Do they help? Certainly Are they required? If they were, Ford would have installed them. If you choose to install one, understand it's true purpose, and don't be a parrot

It's going to sound amazing! I'm wondering if there's enough, or any, benefit. sound or performance, in changing the oem loop midpipe on my Gen 3 for the SPD loop midpipe. I'd imagine, at most, it's only a few inch difference.

We just installed this setup with and spd over rear axle and sound amazing. Prolly the only one on Oahu, HI with this setup. Great gear right there!
