Hi Dave! Please tell me, after 3 days of using the application I was opened the PRO mode. Is it a permanent option and I can use PRO mode by accumulating bonuses or is it just a trial version for a few days?
You'll maintain "Pro-mode" so long as you maintain 3 days of work within the last rolling 10 days. If you take a break and lose Pro mode, you can always get it back after working in Immersed for 3 days. Alternatively, you can actually purchase Pro mode.
Instead of buying new screen or two - what do i need as a minimum to get started? You suggested Quest Pro so after that - what do i need after getting them?
Hey there -- If you're being cost-conscious, you can start with the Oculus Quest 2. It's a much cheaper headset compared to the Pro. You can also use the Immersed free plan. The free plan comes with several environments. Using Immersed credits to purchase extra environments is just that... extra. It's fun, but not necessary. However, if you do indeed intend to use Immersed a lot, then I would definitely recommend spending the extra money on the Meta Quest Pro. I just didn't want you to think that you *have* to buy the Pro. I used my Quest 2 in Immersed for a year. If you are going to be a casual user of Immersed, the Quest Pro is unnecessary/overkill. However, if you are going to use Immersed full-time (or even half-time+), then I would highly recommend the Quest Pro. It's all a matter of how much you intend to use it.
By simply logging in on any given day, you'll get 100 credits. Then, in addition to that, you are correct, you will get 1 credit for each minute you actually stay in Immersed.
You get a certain number of environments for free, you can pay for more, and you can use credits to purchase others. They're a business and need to have a reasonably sustainable business model. Personally, I don't think that's lame at all.
@@WorkInVR They should've made more newer environments to charge the credits for instead of locking down what everyone already had. Or even if they wanted to add enhancements to existing ones and charge credits/
Thanks Dave I was wondering about the credits, nicely explained! Nice meeting you today, you do a great job with your videos !👍
Thanks, Riven! It was super awesome to meet you too! I'll see you around the Immersed public rooms!! 😁

@@WorkInVR or wait a little bit and see how Vive XR Elite perfoms and then you have a third option with similar specs as the quest pro but cheeper

It is 1 credit per 1minute in Immersed, right? :)

Yeah, they locked down all the environments that I had before. Lame.

@@thriftynick27 I can see that. Good thoughts. Immersed is growing and evolving. They'll have missteps along the way.
