- The main strategy that I can see here is attack the legs until it trips over, and then do a combo on the tail. If your Diablos is small enough you can try attacking the tail as much as possible, and you should take any opportunity to hit the tail (such as when it burrows, if you can) to do so, as the tail is the weakest part of both Mono and Diablos.
This fight can be grueling, make absolutely sure you have a good weapon, the one I'm using in the video is a very good weapon for this part of the game, and I brought and used a Mega Demondrug as well (you can also eat for Large Attack Boost in the Felyne Kitchen, they don't stack, so only do one or the other) and kept my power seed buff active at all times, you're going to want every little bit of damage that you can get, because otherwise this fight will drag on and on and on.
The wings will deal more damage to Diablos than the legs, but they can be hard to hit, if you'd prefer, try and aim for the wings instead of the legs, if the opportunity arises, but make damn sure you're constantly attacking Diablos, or this fight will never end.

The Sword and Shield i think is the true perfect weapon, its good all around and still does pretty nice damage if you hit the monster well enough, doesnt leave you vulnerable when fighting and your damage is constant
Garuga and Kut-ku female version armor set looks really good unlike the male counterpart, which are puke-inducing, imho of cource.
Yeah... female versions of armor tend to just look better, unfortunately.
Keep in mind though I'm wearing the Garuga Mask as well, so, this technically isn't the full armor set.

Did this hunt with the ice sns and it took way too long. 18 minutes I believe which is horrible for me. Tried to capitalize on his ice weakness but its turns out that wasn't a good idea.
Yeah. I was trying a few weapons, and saw that for SNS, element damage is actually pretty good!!
But..... not... most of the weapons I could get. The best option I think is the Kirin Bolt Indora, I think its called. But I just found out today that the Velocidrome Bite+ is all types of OP lmao. Its *better* than the Tigrex sns, and you can get it in 4*. Its nuts.
My first test hunt was with the rex talon, and it took forever, so, I feel that.

I'm already using the Gypceros SnS just to kill Vespoids.
When you lower its sharpness all the way, you can poison Hornetaurs without destroying their shells so that its still intact for carving.

I cut the tail of the Rathalos but thats like half of the fight I have against it.

#4: Yeah, Monoblos and Diablos' tail are the weakest point on their body, so their tails fall off with even the slightest of provocations.
#8, #9: lmaoo as I edited it and rendered it, I was hopin that people felt the frustration that I did when recording this hunt 😩😩😩 It's ridiculous, right? haha

hey are you ever gonna do a black diablos guide?
I don't have any plans to, but I can at the very least do videos like this one with different weapons for some subspecies. Black Diablos is mostly just faster (and for me it was much larger) and I think has a bit more HP than regular Diablos, besides that, I dunno how much different it is.

Dude may i ask are the monster in training is weaker than the quest monster... or they are just desame.. i just notice that the monster in training are easily killed with just an average equipment
Monsters will usually have a range of how low and high their HP values can be.
I'd like to think that the training quests don't operate in this way, and a quick and dirty test to see values shows that yeah the HP values are a bit lower, which is probably for the best considering your equipment/skills and how you can only cart once.

Monsters in G Rank are most likely too tanky for you, thats why you need to boost damage a lot.
What is your main in monster hunter ?
Depends on the game, kinda. But it's usually LS or GS. Used to use Charge Blade a lot in MH4U and MHGen, and MHW, but I haven't really used it much in a while. Started using LS in MHW a lot recently.
Do you guy had ever wondering why in Monster Hunter there's no Lock On to make hitting the weakspot much easier?
There are lock on controls in some versions of Monster Hunter, for MHFU in particular the iOS version has one.
If you mean locking on to specific parts of the monster, well, the game just isn't designed with that in mind, I don't think it'd really be that great of an idea in general. It's on iOS because it's very difficult to play without it, I'm sure.
@@HeadHunter455 i see, maybe Capcom won't add the Lock On because the Player attack movements are so limited like not flashy Hack N Slash (Exepct LS Spirit Gauge and DB Fury attacks). What do you think?

Fighting using a Greatsword makes my fighting very sloppy though.
It makes me feel like a Berserker that hits very hard but also very slow and defenseless when I can't dodge roll, unlike SnS.
Well you should learn how to use it a bit better then, there's a large degree of finesse in using Greatsword, it's slow, kind of, but that just demands you understand what you're doing. Also, Greatsword has a block, you should not be defenseless if you're playing it properly, maybe check out some of my greatsword gameplay, I'm not by any means saying that I'm an expert, but I'm not the worst either.
Greatsword is definitely not in the slowest classes of the game though, that'd be something like Gunlance/Lance and HBG.

I think its becoming my favorite if I can only fight against small boss monsters.
For example, Velocidrome or the Gendrome.
Fighting the Rathalos with the Greatsword is near impossible for me.
Its too agile and I can't catch up to hitting its head on time unless I dodge roll.

You should've used a Demondrug instead of fighting with just Power Seeds.
Power Seeds + Catalyst is the way to go!
You can eat for an attack buff which is the same thing.
And I used a Mega Demondrug... did you not see the item list in the intro?
