The price has really gotten affordable on those 4 inch battery saws and battery hand pruners. Big time saver and prolong the body. Can't go wrong with them.

The idea about pruning trees is spot on but before doing the job - study how to perform pruning and other work on trees right.

Love the vids bro. Tru pruning is only taking out the dead n any branches or stickers that inhibits proper growth. Trimming is wen ur removing branches. Lik u sed sculpting trees is basically a no no but people want it dun bcuz they see it dun sumwer else which makes trees look horrendous. Especially if u do it in the summer n the tree stresses. Deciduous trees n fall n winter lik ur dogwoods n maples oaks n everything else light PRUNING n TRIMMING. keep up the heat work

Many times the most valuable pruning for the tree development will be at the top at the tips. Most easy pruning is at the bottom. The low hanging $ fruit..

Covering pruning wounds: Bad outdated. Potentially harmful.
Oaks with potential for oak wilt are something you shouldn't even consider without the right education.

Kalfas, you have a great channel and love many of your videos and your energy. I've got to say it, you have no idea what you are doing in this video. It's great that you mentioned sterilizing pruning tools however not collar cutting and indiscriminate pruning is not something that should be paid for. This is inexcusable, if you a going to put out videos like these, please educate your self further!

From one fellow to another … I just quoted a guy literally right over 1k for a full property clean up(corner lot) overgrown row shrubs… the trimming around the home etc was never done only mowed .. approx 4 small trees with branches hanging over a 25sq ft patio and to top it all off he wanted the 8 foot row shrubs and branch hedges cut to 5.5 feet 😂😂 calls me Sunday saying he wants to complete the estimate and get things going … I call him this morning to hear I can’t even walk and I could do it in less then 10 hours , claims my rate was too high and I just simply replied “it’s costly to have specialty services such as landscaping done. He told me last year a guy did it for $600 … I bit my tongue yada yada yada … point being is no matter what the service especially maintenance and tree trimming … it’s good money and it’s costly . Good job on the video Keith!

Structure pruning pears is another valuable skill to add to the table. Especially since almost all of them develop poor structure and grow long, heavy, weak wooded branches. Take a look around after a wind or ice storm and lots of the damage you'll see is from pears at least from were I'm at in MI. A lot of it could be done from an orchard ladder.
