I like the vibe of The Lively hotel--modern and homey all at once. And a free beer hour too! Satoshi would love that. I can't get over how clean, hospitable, amenity-rich, and reasonably priced Japanese hotels are. Thank you for taking us along, Shinichi.
Wow, that hotel is amazing. So beautiful and such a bargain (37 EURO!!!). And a free beer happy hour - that's really cool. Last time in London (2018) I spent more than 3x that amount for a crappy micro room in an old run down hotel where I got trapped in the shower because the ironing board which was attached to the wall fell over when I took a shower and it blocked the door of the bath"room". It took me almost an hour and all my creativity to free myself from this trap (otherwise I would have to spend the night in the bathroom waiting for the room service to set me free next morning...). I am sure that such things would never happen in a Japanese hotel, regardless of the price per night. Btw... the only reaction from the hotel manager was "hmm... sorry...never happened before" and then they charged me an extra for the vegetarian breakfast I had. So, if someone tells you that Japan is incredibly expensive - don't believe it.
Thats rich ! 😂,..Nihonji people always try to be poetic with language, but I love them for the respect, cleanliness and manners thats always theirs. So wish I could live there for a while....KAWAII🤗
I love Japanese decorating, it’s so clean and not cluttered like Chinese decorations. I like the neat and simple lines.❤️😍👍🏻👏🏼😁 although Chinese foods are my favorites. I notice that all the hotels have such thin towels, I don’t know how anyone can dry themselves after a bath or shower. 😩 The only good thing about American hotels is that they all have big very thick cotton towels.😂😂Thanks for another wonderful video.👍🏻👏🏼
That's my dream too. When I see such a great price for a beautiful, clean hotel like this I look forward to it even more. I hope we can both get there soon. 😊
My brother has lived in Japan for 11 years. I have visited him 3 times. I would have gone a 4th time about now if it wasn’t for Pandemic causing Japan to close internal travel from many countries. My plan is to go there at least once every two years. I would like to go every year but it is very expensive. It would be awesome if I could live in Japan and work IT for a contractor for the US Navy at Yokosuka, US Marine Corps at Iwakuni, US Navy at Sasebo near Fukuoka. Might go Okinawa but it’s quite small town, I want to be near a big city thus the sites I listed are on Honshu where you are a train ride away from big cities or calm tranquil nature. I already work IT for the contractor of US Navy at Pearl Harbor Hawaii. I just got pulled into the new SMIT contract with Leidos. Future internal move could be possible. 😁
A place like that would be great if you wanted to sit quietly and alone after your day out & about. I personally prefer hostels or guest houses, but it looks like a good option.

Thank you for this vdo Shinichi! I miss Fukuoka/Hakata area so much. I have a membership with Toyoko Inn so usually that's where I stayed every time I went to Fukuoka because I could accumulate points for free nights. I also liked to walk along the shotenkai at Nakasukawabata and bought fruits there before strolling toward Tenjin area where I always stopped by Junkudo book shop. Talking about all these landmarks makes me want to travel!
Oh my gosh, this was the very hotel I stayed at before the 2020 lockdown happened! Such a cool hotel. Didn't get to explore the bar area so much since I was out and about but this made me want to return here and check it out next time!
My husband and I Love strawberries in Japan❤️. Get them sometimes in the Japanese grocery store in Los Angeles, but boy they are expensive ($20.00 for about 8 strawberries). Can’t wait to go to Japan and eat them every day.
I'm really impressed, what a great hotel at such a nice price. 💯👍🏻I fell in love with the chair as well and the water cooker😍. This looks definetely like it's worth a visit 😊
Hi I enjoyed your video!!! WOW!!! I,ve never seen strawberries that huge in my life!!! I would love to travel to Japan during strawberry season!!! Thank you for your videos 👍🤗
The hotel is amazing, so pretty! Loved it! The strawberry must be incredible! I hope I can try someday. Thanks for the video, Shinichi-san. Take care. Love u guys ❤️
Have you tried that the in-room safe was securely mounted on the shelf? I experienced it twice in Japan. I could take the safe home if I wanted because the safe was not properly installed in the cabinet.
Interesting name for a hotel. I suppose everyone slugging down free beers for an hour can make the place kind of...lively. :-) The bathroom would give me a terminal case of claustrophobia. The one in my 27 foot RV was larger. I love how those strawberries looked, and my mouth was watering watching you eating them. Yum! I notice that most of the rail is Japan other than high speed rail is still jointed, e.g., 33 foot sections of rail bolted together one after another. Given Japan's technological prowess, I'm surprised they don't use welded rails. Bolted rails gives passengers a rough and noisy ride, it's hard on the equipment, and it must drive all those people living so close the tracks nuts listening to frequent trains clattering by at all hours of the day and night.
Such another great video. Hotel isn’t bad at all for that price. Meet me at the bar I’d say, if I were staying in Fukuoka too at the same time. Stay quiet 🙏🏼
I've learned that with fruit especially strawberries, the redder they are the healthier and sweeter. Technically if they are tart it means they arnt ripe.
Great price for a nice little room AND free beer! I would not be a fan of sharing pajamas, even though they're washed on disinfect cycle. Strawberry season was over here in late June, so none besides flavorless California strawberries left. 😥
I'm allergic to beer but this looks like a great hotel! I've been told that maybe I'm just allergic to some kinds of beer so perhaps I could order a beer here, take a sip...and find out haha
This is pretty fancy for less than $50. It's clean, well-designed, and has all the basic amenities. $32 wouldn't even get you a roach motel here in the East Coast.
This is a very decent hotel and the room is spacious too as comparable to ordinary semi-double room of a Japan business hotel. I think the room rate will be double when pandemic is over.
You have did a very good job to promote Japan to the world, very nice video, thank you.

Well it's still expensive for some country. Especially when the currency exchange rate is below dollar value. For example: my country
omg that's scary! i was feeling anxious just by reading it haha
"It is a deodorant spray of an effective professional specification to the anxious smell." I love Japan for things like this 🤣
It's around 3:58 if anyone wants it

Those strawberries 🍓look fabulous. What a bargain that hotel is. Modern, clean, and FREE BEER, OH YEAH.
And so well filmed! I could practically smell them...
Really nice modern hotel for really cheap price...alright Fukuoka...here I come and The Lively will be on my list...
It's cool with the free beer perk! The hotel looks really cool and I can't wait to see the street food video next! Great video
Japanese beer is really high quality too !

I have the luck of living near Japan so I’ve visited them a few times! The best travelling experience I’ve had ever.
I hv same dream too😍
I went there before, I recommend going to Tokyo!

I love Japanese Strawberries. I always get some when they are in season at the Japanese market. They are expensive but worth it.

Super cute little room, great deal for a small price. And those strawberries looked fabulous. Yum!
I was in Fukuoka last December 2019. I've been to Japan 5 times and can't wait to get back!
Nice hotel but those strawberries were the prettiest strawberries I've ever seen. 🍓 And free beer? Wow! 🍺😲

I really enjoy that shotengai as well
No unnecessary music, this make the vlogs more naturalistic. I love your youtube videos, keep it up!! 🙌
The hotel is so pretty and nice ! I would like to stay there someday . Can't wait for your next video !
I LOVE the minimalistic modern look of this hotel down to the leather pulls on the drawers! Envy envy envy you! :)

I love the style of the room!!!
I do too. It’s quite stylish for this price
🍓 Looks refreshing ♥️
The strawberries remind me of daifuku I bought with a strawberry inside. I bought it in the train station at Okayama.
A very great way of traveling the world is to always be on your channel! I love it! Thank you! : )
definetly on my bucket list
What I love from the hotels is the silent.
that is a well designed hotel room i work in the hotel business and that is cool
Nice and clean hotel with free beer at a good price. Love it!
Thanks for this always helpful to know that cheaper hotels do actually exist in japan
Cool hotel! I liked the decor and the free beer! 😎👍
I just spent 50-times that much for one night in Disney World.
Disney World is magical for sure...but the price is not surprising when you really look into (Walt) Disney and who he was and what Disney is....😶🙏
Disneyland is going to overcharge you for anything. Although they have been shutdown for the past year, guess they have to make up for losses.
Next time stay in a Hotel nearby with shuttle service to Disney. Saves tons of $. You're never in the room anyway. 👍
you spent more than $2k for 1 night?
@@Marthisdil A standard room, the lowest tier, at the Grand Floridian (at Disney World) starts at $600.
What a wonderfull hotel!
Really cool hotel. Love the vibe. Now I want to decorate my house to feel like this place.
I love big succulent strawberries too 😂
The hotel is amazing, so pretty! Loved it! The strawberry must be incredible! I hope I can try someday. Thanks for the video, Shinichi-san. Take care. Love u guys ❤️
Can't wait to see your street food video :) Oh I saw your vlog Dazaifu Fukuoka street food uploaded June 8th.
Ouh yes, I like this hotel! And I want the chair too 👏🤩
Have you tried that the in-room safe was securely mounted on the shelf? I experienced it twice in Japan. I could take the safe home if I wanted because the safe was not properly installed in the cabinet.
What an excellent room for the price!
I love posh stylish hotels. It makes me feel like a rock star.
Wow
That hotel looks amazing
Soo cool and stylish
Wow! Japan has it right! 10 times the price here in Hawaii for something just ok
That looks like an excellent hotel and if I ever get to Japan I would definitely try it 😊💕💕
Thank You for sharing your experience with me...I enjoyed !!!
Looked like a Heartland beer. I'm trying to remember what city I had that in. I took the bus to Dazaifu. I think they run more often than the train.
Next tome I may do the bus instead.

As a Brit, I love the nostalgic clickety-clack of the railway - I'd be asleep in seconds! And oh, those luscious strawberries...!
Looks cleaner than hotel here in my country that costs RM100+ per night
Ur room awesome and so cheap and free beer what a deal stay safe 👍😂
I stayed at that hotel before! 10/10 would return if I am heading back to Fukuoka!
I'd love to visit Japan some day. But it'd be a long trip from Boston, that's for sure!
0:43 i wish more places put barriers up like that.
I love those bikes as i have one Araya bike from Tokyo ^_^ Thank for great vdo, bro!
Looks like a nightclub. Be fun to have life music, food, and drinks there
Great video thanks for sharing ❤️

Nice hotel. Realy my style.
What a lovely hotel!
I long for the day that I can return to Japan.
Japan..my dream country 😍😍😍
Such another great video. Hotel isn’t bad at all for that price. Meet me at the bar I’d say, if I were staying in Fukuoka too at the same time. Stay quiet 🙏🏼

I really like the modern vibe

Man, that's really nice hotel i would like to stay in one day. The free beer is nice, though i don't drink beer.
I love Fukuoka. This hotel definitely has a cool hip vibe - would definitely stay there 👌
So how was the beer?
My father came to America in 1915 ftom hakata and my mom in 1922 when they married💕💞
Unbelievably nice for how much it cost!
Great price for a nice little room AND free beer! I would not be a fan of sharing pajamas, even though they're washed on disinfect cycle. Strawberry season was over here in late June, so none besides flavorless California strawberries left. 😥
I would love to stay there 😊
Man do I love your channel 😀
Thanks for sharing this video. Very informative.
unfortunately youtube will probably demonetise this video for the lyrics in the music at the bar oof
