I cannot tell you how many times I've listened to this, and it still almost brings me to tears. It hits home and hits *hard*, I don't think I've related to a song this much in a long time.
@@AllThatRemains5 thanks, I really am better now. Senior in highschool and really excited for college. There's definitely still issues, but I alright now. I hope you guys are too. Love you too, homie. We'll get through it
I'm 95% sure the correct lyric is, "I've been feeling suicidal and if I need remind you it's not *becoming* of my heart and my brain." If something is not "becoming" of you, it's something that reflects poorly on you. What the line means is to not romanticize suicide and depression, which is very on-brand for Sorority Noise.
@@herusaleron6793 weird, if you listen to the acoustic version it really does sound like "becoming," and I can't make any sense out of "the coming of," but if that's what it says, that's what it says, my b.
If that means headbang so hard that his brain leaked from his ears, that must've been fucking badass to see. If that means he shot himself or something, I'm so sorry.
I don't like that i can relate to this song so much and im only 16 having to do highschool rotc and band work 2 jobs and still have my parents call me a disappoint honestly going on is kinda pointless to me now but at the same time I don't want my friends to experience the same thing i have

official lyrics all say “coming of” so that’s what i went with :)

"the coming of" means realization, so he's saying it's not just his brain realizing everything sucks
Amazing song and I appreciate your gaslight anthem reference.
I once saw a kid literally break his skull to this song in 2019
i don’t really know what that means but i’m sorry you had to see that
