this is the part where I got absolutely blown away by this band.
I was introduced to this song by a close friend of mine. She took her life a week ago today. This song will always hold a special place in my heart. Rest In Peace Grace xx.

Sorority Noise has yet to fail me man, great band
What I love about this kind of emo is how it is not so scene. When you look at the members of the band, they're not totally decked out in black with scene hair and all that. And the music can actually focus on other aspects of life rather than relationships ending and how they miss their x's or hate them or whatever. This music will show you life's true colors. Its amazing.

i have to say i dont think a band has ever really touched me so much as this band. it helps me cope with all the shit wrong with me that most bands dont. honestly, this band says everything i think or feel. this band is what is inside me, and the other bands i listen to are on the outside. i might seem strong, confident, and happy. but really, im just a scared shell or those things. im nervous, im self deprecating, im scared, im hurt, and i hate myself but i dont know what to do. this band actually makes me feel like a person. like a meaningful object. and i thank you sorority noise.

The four track EP "It Kindly Stopped for Me" is more odd to me than this. I love the gut wrenching rawness of it but, I feel like the EP should have been released under the name Cam Boucher, Old Gray or something instead of Sorority Noise.

Yep. I was super happy to see "I'm just another face" and "I'm a marathon runner both ankles sprained." I'm pretty sure the song on the album Letter to St. Julien is also a reference. Cause I think Cam produced her new album. The new Old Gray album has shout outs to Brandon as well.

The cocaine line gets me to hard, my "ex" boyfriend promised to my face he had no interest in doing hard drugs and never would. I was working 3rd shift one night and discovered in the morning he was out snorting coke that night. I began shaking and felt so numb it broke my heart. I told him if he ever did hard drugs I was gone because I cannot have that stuff in my life and he did it anyway. Shortly after he moved out, and I know he's still doing it sometimes. He is heavily influenced by peer pressure by all of his mouth breathing "friends", and I worry.
When they played at the trees, they said the song was a jab at Oso Oso and when I heard them I came running in like YEEEEES.

It's good no doubt. Just a little boring. I wouldn't be able to listen to in every setting like most of there old stuff. When I saw them live a year ago the singer just talked about how depressed he was.
Cam and the band are really big on mental health awareness and the stigma that surrounds it, they discuss the topic in brief at every show usually before using. It's a common theme found in a lot of their songs, and an important topic
