Excellent overview of the Rules, I’ve played this solo but it’s good to see if my interpretation of the Rules is right. Looking forward to the next upload
One of my favorite games. Very well designed. Infrastructure and expansion is the name of this game, although that usually involves war as well. Also a beautiful game. Enjoy.
So I have created a custom version on TTS replacing all army counters with actual pieces. Do you have the counters your using here in TTS you could share? Let me know if you can put them in the workshop.
I'm trying to remember. I think I may have unzipped the Vassal module for Pax Romana to get the images, and added each image to a tile in TTS. I don't have the project anymore.
welcome back Mike i thought you had got lost in the wheat fields of Ukraine and as a added bonus your back with Romans too (invasions re-run after this one if you feel up to it ?)
I purchased Pax Romana and its sister Genesis at the same time. Both offer so much, but the battle system is awful. Pax is better than Genesis in many ways and will come back to the table again. I doubt Genesis will ever again leave its box unless I can come up with a better system for it, both battles and turn to turn reinforcements. Sad because the components of both are high quality.
I actually like both games a lot. For me the trouble with Genesis is finding 5 players that can dedicate the time to play, and it might be a bit too asymmetrical, with certain players being at a large disadvantage from the start. I am fine with the battle system but it is definitely a bit fiddly - something more traditional would have worked just as well.
This is excellent. Thank you. You break it down so nicely. I hope you will consider doing part 2.
Thank you so much for coming back, we have missed you so much all this time. :)
he returns! the prodigal son has come back!
Really enjoyed your video thank you 😊
Hey, where is the part 2??)))

I just bought this on ebay, should arrive tomorrow. Good timing:-)
I believe this game was the very first P500 preorder I ever did with GMT. I really wanted to love it, like a lot, but it’s just very Richard Berg.
I think it took 5 years for me to get my P500 order... that was a looooong wait.
hello, more could you tell where the download for tabletop ??
Thanks in advance

How did you get the counters in TTS?

Ya I am very sporadic. Those wheat fields are still gathering dust though. I have half of turn five filmed and edited. Maybe next week it will go up.
this is a bad solo game but good luck lol. you might want to check out Time of Crisis and it's expansion for solo play
I have yet to meet a game that can't be solo'ed by playing all sides. I love Time of Crisis but haven't tried the "bot" yet.
What happen to your sound?
I was recording on a computer instead of with a camera microphone.
