Would be also cool if opposing mayors (dragon riders) made a little in air combat for example to prevent enemy mayor to interrupt area claiming. 🤩 That would be so cool to look at them in the skies. I am so much looking forward to experience these epic moments!! 😮
I suggest adding a climbing system like Uncharted 4, making the character on dragon's neck look like he is controlling it, trees fall after cutting when u push them with ur hands or cut them for a long time and make the world as real as possible like a person with world builder's disease. I love the fact that there aren't any quick travel stuff, that makes mounts more important and we can enjoy the surroundings while we travel.
It doesn't look like the guy is commanding the dragon, why is he even sitting on its neck if he isn't doing anything? You can add animation to it so it looks like he is controlling the dragon.

i still think anyone other than mayors and kings should be able to get a flying mount. its Bs that only certain people can get it. I know they made it that way because of balancing issues but its really not hard to balance it. just make it so players can build balistae that shoot gian arrows at them
1. Non mayors and non kings will be able to get flying mounts via rare drops from bosses that have flying mounts on their drop table, but it will be extremely rare and the mount will only last for some period of time before it expires. 2. Flying mounts aren’t universal because of balancing issues, they are made to be rare and hard to get because they ruin the sense of exploration and remove a large amount of risk you experience in the open world.
@@APlasticLemon i still dont agree with that. I when i fly around on my mount in wow i still get a sense of exploration Im ok with flying mounts being rare but not if they expire. Thats bad game design
@@theshimario253 even wow agrees that it ruins the sense of exploration - that’s why they require you to complete most of the content the expansion has to offer before letting you fly and literally avoid all the monsters on the ground Since flying is so powerful in a game that is built around risk in the open world, that’s why they limit the time you have a flying mount if you do get one. If everyone could eventually get a flying mount by farming bosses, then fights in the open world (which are integral to AoC working properly) will rarely if ever happen
@@APlasticLemon again, you can balance that, its not that hard. Just make it so people can build portable turrets that can shoot down flying mounts. like how they did in GOT. if they cant balance something as simple as that then they aren't good at game design

Having to sit there and channel on the node (aka having to actively not play the game) seems kinda bad for gameplay
I really want to like this game .... but the combat always just looks like AOE and blooms , even melee seems that way
