Dark Universe had potential and Universal should've kept Dracula Untold as THE 1st film for The Franchise, as for The Mummy there was no need to put Tom Cruise in it since The Mummy was going to be female and they should've had it set in Egypt. As for the role of Nick Morton, I would've gone for Justin Long and yes, he may not be a stud like Brendan Fraser was, but he is very loveable like Brendan Fraser. I believe that Justin Long would've had great chemistry with Annabelle Wallis being how they are close to age with each other whereas that Circus Midget Tom Cruise is old enough to be her father being how Wallis was just 1 when Cruise was in Legend with Tim Curry and Top Gun with Val Kilmer, plus I am not surprised that Tom Cruise wrecked The Mummy with his ego because he is infamous for that, according to R. Lee Ermey it was Tom Cruise's ego that destroyed Stanley Kubrick's last film Eyes Wide Shut.
