Definately cool kids whisky! Fun format, just dropped in. I hope to stay connected. Certainly a bottle killer over here! Cheers!

Can you guys suggest a sub £50 bottle for someone looking to get into whiskey drinking? Something smooth and easy drinking.

There's lots of options. We have a review of the Old Pulteney 12 year old coming up. It's a fantastic Scotch and won't put anybody off. Classic bourbon cask and usually available for £20 - £30. Outside of that I'd probably say Glenfiddich 15 or Balvenie 12 Double Wood

I would higly recomend Glendronach 12, if possible the older version unchillfiltered and natural colour. This is the bottle that got me into whisky drinking. This is the one that started everything.

I would say Singleton 12 year, Monkey Shoulder, Cragganmore 12 year and possibly Benromach 10 year to start in the whisky journey.
