Valid take on being able to reflect on what was going on in your life when whiskey was bottled.
This is an outstanding Port Charlotte expression! Delicious! Superb video! Thanks! 🙂
Absolutely agree! Cheers!
oh yeah, my first bottle of Port Charlotte 10 sent me over the edge. so good! prices are all over the map depending where you find it. here in KC, its about $100 now when i used to get it for about $60-65 just a couple years ago.
dang. so jelly.
bruichladdich rocks.. enjoy!
just saw the new 2014 PC Islay bottle at my local Bevmo, not sure if I should grab one, or just wait to grab an 18. decisions 🤔
Good to find your channel. Loved my bottle of Bruichladdich 18
was lucky enough to try this few weeks after they released it at the distillery after a warehouse tour... it is worth the cost...
Truly one of my favorites right now.
Hi, I recently came across your channel when looking for another review of the PC 18, and I really like your relaxed and slightly ironic way of discussing whisky! Here in Germany, some UA-camrs are surprisingly critical of this whisky, claiming it is too bitter, etc. I just tried a sample of it and can easily agree with you - a fantastic dram! I don't get the green olive, though... 😉
Was not a big fan of the 10 year Port Charlotte, but really enjoy the 18 year. Agree with your comment that over time the impact of the peat begins to mellow out!
Windshield wiper changing after having a bunch of drams would be really fun to watch.
Its sitting on the shelf for over a week now. Im really excited to try this.
Im glad i didnt buy the bruichladdich 18 as hasnt as good review as this.
Subscribed.
I like what youre doing.
Keep at it
dude what a set up you've got yourself
Nice one. Been waiting patiently for PC18 reviews. Liked and subscribed.
And definitely do the side by side!
Definitely going to happen. I'm thinking a blind shootout between the 18, 10, and Octomore would be quite fun!@@llamabones
Well I just paid $211 for this. Hopefully it is good.
I know the price is certainly steep, but this is one bottle I do not regret spending a couple big ones on. Hope you enjoy it!
@@otbwhiskey forgot to mention. the one issue I've had with Port Charlotte bottlings is the corks. Twice now when I've bought them they've failed. I would open the tin and smell the peat from the get go. The cork just didn't seal well. When I got the PC18 I was smelling the cork/bottle. The clerk was laughing at me. I told them why and they said they understood.
