I wish GF put in the miniatures for these like in Sons And GF should have added in the fifth gang for five players. No reason not to; Otherwise, I think this is the 20s gangster game to get. There were a few main strategies to use, like selling gun, selling contraband or selling guns to other gangs (under the actual table) and let them fight it out. We house rule the hospital and let a gang pay $1/reroll with unlimited rolls. Since I own Sons, This is a pass, but if you dont, its excellent.

The decision to make the components from cardboard rather than miniatures was based on reducing the RRP to make the game more accessible to a wider audience. We find this an important consideration in the current economic climate. Great to hear you enjoy playing it :)

@@GaleForceNineGames Excellent decision. I am sick of paying money for over hyped games whose price point is based on the amount of unnecessary plastic that said games contain!

We didn't understand the power of the capone gang. I allowed a player after me to have an uncontested money dump in the first round hoping that everyone would focus on him but they kept attacking me until I was out of the game and the other guy had a giant lead and won easily. I didn't enjoy it despite loving the theme and art.

Maybe your next game you'll have that experience under your belt, and can take the Capone gang on... Or maybe play the Capone gang yourself!
