Go raibh míle maith agat! If you take requests I would LOVE a video at some point about how to have your first Irish conversation. For example, phrases like "How do you say ____ in Irish?" (but as Gaeilge), "I've just started learning Irish", "Could you please say that again?" and "Sorry could you please speak more slowly?". Those kinds of things!
Dia dhuit Molly! A great video! You explained everything regarding the future tense very clearly and moreover you the correct pronunciation also! I thank you for your efforts!Thaitin an físeán seo go mór liom ! Go raibh míle maith agat agus slán go fóill!

Go raibh míle maith agat Pompi 😁 is duine cineáltu tú i gcónaí 💚 ná bí buartha faoi daoine mar sin! (don't worry about people like that!) negativity has no place on my channel.
Hi Molly, and very many thanks for your new video as it is really useful and helpful for us.Could you please tell me if we know that An tuaisceart is the north, an deisceard the south, an t-oirthear the east, and an iarthar the west, when we write ag dul ó thuaidh, going north, ag dul ó dheas going south and ag dul soir going east. Why there is difference with the first names? Thank you

I'm actually not sure about that one 🤔 you've got me thinking 🤔
Just double checking on something, but for the first conjugation endings, it's either -fidh or -faidh (depending on whether the verb stem is slender or broad), but in either case the pronunciation is the same, sort of like "hee". Correct? And I'm assuming the pronunciation is different in the various dialects.
OMG😍😍 I ALWAYS FART THIS VIDEO WAS SO HELPFUL THANKS NOW I KNOW HOW TO TELL PEOPLE I'M ABOUT TO FART THANKS😍😍😍😍 One time I was sitting with my grandma who only speaks Irish and I felt this whopper coming so I said "Watch out grandma" but she could hear me and that gas passed so fast it blew her to the moon. Still feel guilty to this day so this really helped thanks!
What a lass.... that’s about all the Irish I got. 😂😂 I appreciate what you’re doing. I’ve wanted to learn Gaelic. I just discovered you tonight. I may have to start watching and learning. I’m confused why your voice sounds like you’re on a small dose of helium when you said “I’m going to fart” haha Well I enjoyed your lecture! Keep it up, Molly!
Be careful, gaelic is the language family, of manx, gaidhlig and irish. It's like calling an english speaker a germanic speaker. We insist, call it Irish or Gaeilge (and I know the latter doesnt help with the confusion)
The explanation about fart was very funny 😂 I love your posts on Instagram as well, but I personally prefer learning through videos like this one. Thanks for your dedication ☘
Molly, did you know that Irish names and surnames were anglicized during the 18th century? What if you did a video about the differences between Anglicized Irish names and Irish names in their original Gaelic form?
Dia duit! Gabh raibh maith agat as múineadh dúinn. Tá tú an-chabhrach! Hope I said that right! It's hard trying to learn on your own. I eventually want to emigrate to ireland. Most of my family came to America from Galway, county mayo, and Ulster during the potato famine. Hope to one day return and help keep this amazing language alive!
My family immigrated from Belfast during the troubles to Australia, Im also learning on my own and I intend to move back to Ireland later in life, hope I see you there mate 👍 slán
FOR ANYONE WHO USED GOOGLE TRANSLATE FOR IRISH: Google translate is actually not the most correct translator. The more demanding or popular language, the more accurate they are, but since Irish isn't as demanding, it is only about 70% accurate. Also, there isn't even audio for Irish, so "bhean" can easily become "bhahabean" if you try to pronounce it. They offer no pronunciation guide. When I first wanted to learn Irish (before I found Gaeilge i mo chroí) I googled Hello in Irish. It came up as "dia duit", and I pronounced it like "deeya dweet." Go raibh maith agat for teaching me proper Irish, Holly!
Dia duit, Aoife is ainm dom. Ta do deag blina daois. Over the last week I’ve kind of gotten really into Irish and you are REALLY GOOD. Some of my past teachers can’t match you. Although I’m from Ireland i learn Leinster Irish so hearing your pronunciations is kind of weird. ( I know I spelt my Irish wrong idrc)
Thanks for the vid. One problem I'm seeing is with words like Luigh and Suigh. They don't seem to follow the pattern you've outlined. For example Luigh. Take off the igh and you're left with u. Broad so aidh. But it's idh according to teanglann.ie Where am I going wrong here 🤪
Thank you! I didn’t believe we had our own language. My grandmother told us that her parents spoke the language of Ireland, but it didn’t register with me. Until this moment I thought Ireland was England. My grandmother had an accent but always spoke to us in English. Thank you! I must learn! DUDE
Any chance you could do a vid on decribing a place you've been like an art gallery or to see a film. I can only remember the basics like Chonaic mé ......... Bhí se siumuil

Muid, is that the Ulster dialect for Sinn, or is it all over the three big dialects?

Quick lesson add-on for how words like bronnfar fit into this? (Or, as im sure you would say, bronnfart).
7:05 So, the Biblical "he shall open and no one shall close etc" will involve "osclóidh sé agus ..."
You are brilliant.
I completely agree,mo chara Dane!

Ceist amhain, lig me broim no broim me? Great videos!
lig mé broim 😂 broim on it's own just means fart - like the noun, it's not a verb in Irish if ya get me
