Have you ever tried Austrian Loden fabric? It's 100% made of wool, perfectly water repellant, warm and 100% quiet. Alpine hunters have been using it for centuries. I'd have thought you could create a totally innovative product out of this old fabric?
Eastern woodland deer hunter here. Nice system but sadly not something I’ll ever use. You need to put activated carbon in anything for whitetail, like ScentLock does. I hate the design and camo ScentLock uses, but I use it anyway because if you don’t fool a deer’s nose, he ain’t never gonna be near enough to hear you bro. Western Hunter’s disdain ScentLock. We who hunt the Eastern swamp forests know it works and its necessary.
I think if you do a little research you’ll find that your scent lock it’s really not doing all that much for your scent control. I feel if you’re basing your purchasing on whether it has activated carbon in it you’re making a mistake.
@@dougclarke4540 Yeah, well you should do a bit of research Doug. ScentLok does a great job of controlling scent in combination with rubber boots worn inside the pants (outside is sue sign of a tyro) and completely clean pack, bow, anything external. I'm sure you are not speaking from experience Doug.
Way better design and price than sitka fanatic. Love that it has a hood.
Finally!! Quiet and warm have finally met, in the same clothing.
Wool has been doing it for over a hundred years.
Well.. just ordered the set! Lets wait and see..
Been waiting for this 🙌🙌

Was looking at badlands silens gear but kuiu has won will be purchasing the kuiu
Will this proxymity work in MN and WI frigid fall and winter temperatures? Or should I lean towards Sitka Fanatic system?
I would try the proximity. I imagine it would be just as warm as the fanatic but with a hood and also a lot cheaper.
Why did it take so along for high tech expensive hunting companies to realize fleece is the most silent fabric?
I just hope KUIU stay affordable or else I'm gonna have to go back to Walmart gear 😢
😂
My new gear :)

Their other video called product overview actually says in the video that it has anti odor technology built into it.
If you do some research on carbon and the products that scentlok uses, you’ll realize that a lot of it is marketing gimmicks.

North east hunter here. I've shot plenty of white tail deer in Walmart gear and no scent spray lol expensive gear doesn't always help
