I've seen loads of bikes with the ktech stickers on them but never knew who they were so it was interesting to get an insight into what they do really enjoyed this one lee,you should do more vids that give us insight to all the different company's you go too for parts etc
Got k-tech to revalve my front end on my suzuki gsxr k6 1000 years ago and a new rear shock.i have never rode a bike with such a good feel its better than my BMW 1000rr any day.
The one thing not mentioned Lee was the cost which would be good for all of us to know how much these things put you racers out of pocket ??? and might make up our minds to do it or not to our steeds ?? Great up load as always Thanks fella these insights are bloody great !!
I’m a Ktech supplier and that was most likely the DDS cartridge kit. Cost varies on bikes but it’s £1700 and worth every penny when your at lees pace. They have cheaper alternatives that are still great systems. Shocks start at £450 and go up to 4.5k He will also be using data locking so looking near 10k worth of product on suspension alone.
Just listened to your TT podcast. Brilliant! I’m a AS sufferer too, also on Anti TNF, unfortunately most of damage done before getting on the meds program. Still manage the odd track day though on my KTM1290 and I’m also an aeroplane aerobatics nut to boot. The meds should keep you well and I wish you every success in 2022 and the years to come. You’re an absolute star Lee. Love your channel. Keep it up. All the best.
Never knew damping and rebound in different fork legs. I'm sure my first bike, 1960's Raleigh Runabout used a different system. Perhaps the world has made some progress but I sure as hell miss the 70's.
SFF forks.. Single Function Forks.. apparently cheaper to make high performance damping.. not sure that theyre as good as dual function though.. motogp dont use them
Lee... honest question. Why is it that Irish fellas can't say bye once? Every Irish friend I've got says bye bye bye bye baiiii... Great vlog as always laaaaad
Suspension is so critical, im from a mX background ( Ginger Mick Fan) 😂 but sometimes i got it right. Still cant get over how little of tje R6 you use, i understand the exchanging of parts but lots of work for the big man, wouldnt it be easier to just get rolling chassis.
Was the spring rate to suit your weight arranged in advance for that kit or is it a stock size and you’ll wait until test days and get KTech to swap them as required?
We refer to Mick as "One Click" Mick here in Australia! He's a bloody legend!
Haha brilliant

That was great, never new that each side of the forks were different lol

The TT cannot get here fast enough!!! Especially for us on the other side of the pond. Good luck this Lee and stay safe.
Excellent lee
Fascinating to see the internals and the process, cheers Lee 👍
The separate legs for rebound and compression is relatively a new concept.
Really great insight this. Something you don't see everyday . I am getting mine sorted next week

Brilliant Lee, nice to see inside ktech.. Can't wait to see you at the NW200 this May..
Nice to see how things are done like forks and the tunning videos as well really interesting loving them
I race Ohlins but considering K-Tech so glad you did the video so I could learn a little more about the people behind it.
so you just rocked up and kicked the door in! (in a professional way) very impressive setup at the factory, confidence inspiring. great work Lee.

Yes it would be easier but it’s not allowed in the rules
Get that phone! Nice insight into Suspension too. Cheers
Cool Background Videos, but you should get a gimbal... the imagery is so shaky, one almost hets seasick ;-)
Interesting, enjoyed that ✊
Thanks
I know how good K-Tech fork internals are but they could do with a bit more bling on the exposed parts. #faf
Awesome bud 👍🏻
James Leonard is my hero xxx
will K-tec do normal peoples bikes? enjoyed the vid.
You saying I’m not normal 😂😂 yea defo give them a call said I said you deserve discount for watching ginger mick lol
3 bathams bikes on the K-Tech wall.
None of them were Taylor...
Just down the road from me!
Was that Ginger Mick or Danny Buchan?
😂😂
Wow you’re clever hahahaha
Have K-Tec on my 2020 BMW S1000RR.
Did you leave the dust caps in the forks for the tt? Wasn’t sure if you run them at road races because it’s more road like conditions
Was the spring rate to suit your weight arranged in advance for that kit or is it a stock size and you’ll wait until test days and get KTech to swap them as required?
If I were you I would be asking WHERE THE F...K IS MY PHOTO ????????????????????ON THE GOD DAM WALL OF HERO'S ????????????????
So is the aprilia for the TT or BSB?
No photo of King 👑 Lee 👑 Come on People. He was so sad really underneath 🙁☹️😣😖😫😩😩😩😩😩😩😢 🥺
How is it Lee you have all the best safety gear when your on the bike but you don’t put your seat belt on when driving your van 🤔
I was I in the car park I had it on when I was driving honest 🤦🏻♂️😂
@@Leejohnston you must drive in a lot of car parks 🤔😂😂😂
Hmmmm don't you have 2 of those bikes to get done Lee? One of them stock or just a new boss brain fart? 😃
why have we bot seen the 500 two stroke yet.?
Sounds like your doors dropped on your van…….. I have the same van. A custom
The MX riders probably come in half baked.
swad pit
Funny you should say you don't know a thing about the workings This is just how I feel when I drive my ford K.A. but I do know it is not right ??
