He never tried to pass off his design as the official Nintendo design. His original image post specifically said it was a mockup of a hypothetical product. Even if the mockup was used for a fake leak, _he_ was not the one who made the fake leak.

As someone who does speak Japanese, the kanji in it makes complete sense. The problem is the fire cover is using the fire Kanji 火 and ice is using katakana アイスinstead of 氷. They would be consistent and use Kanji for Both.

Another issue is that it's written アイスを when it should, if anything, be アイスの.
I think the person who Scott mentioned just meant japanese text by "kanji". Also, the kanji used for fire is wrong; it's actually the chinese hanzi for it. The japanese form has the left stroke turned left, while the chinese one has it turned right.

I’ll never forget when I was a kid I went to a summer camp where this younger kid went around practically screaming that his dad works at Nintendo and how his dad told him the next DS is gonna be 3D, without the need for the red and blue glasses. Everyone just blew him off because he was young and everyone assumed he was lying for attention. I feel bad now because he was so upset that no one believed him and we should’ve. Hope he’s doing good

It’s a shame echoes did poorly sales wise, the game was really well done IMO with amazing presentation, and I like how it stays mostly faithful to the original even though the gameplay does suffer for this at times. I hope they aren’t discouraged from doing additional remakes like this, idk if any of the FE remakes have sold well

I bought the second circle pad attachment to play Kingdom Hearts on my 3DS, but honestly I just love the add on in general. It makes the 3DS feel more like a controller and my fat hands appreciate the lack of cramping in provides.

I had a 3ds when I was a kid and thought the 3d function always looked weird as heck (which it does) so I always assumed it needed the glasses, which I thought was stupid with a general thought process of "where the hell am I gonna get 3d glasses, ya want me to steal em from the theatre?!" I never knew it was supposed to not need glasses
If there was a leak that said the 3DS would survive through the era of the Wii, Wii U, AND survive all the way to a new console (The Switch) in 2017, no one would've believed it

I owned a 3ds and I loved it as a kid! So many special memories with that system, especially since the camera on the 3ds was the only camera I had and I used it all the time. In addition, I loved making sounds with the sounds app and, of course, I LOVED all the 3DS and DS games. When I first got my switch, I had that same feeling and it was incredible! Love you Nintendo!

The whole DS family was and is fantastic with great games and experiences. I've had a black DS lite, a blue DSi, a purple 3ds, a red new nintendo 3ds XL, and a pokeball new nintendo 2ds xl...Ya i have a lot of DS's XD. A shame they won't be doing too much for them now, but the Switch has been pretty damn nice.

My only contribution to dispelling rumors was back when Majora's Mask 3D was just speculated. Someone had made a fake Majora's Mask 3D screenshot, and on a forum, I showed how you could recreate the exact image as many parts were taken from the original Majora's Mask combined with an official Ocarina of Time 3D screenshot. I felt good at the time, but now I don't even know which forum it was on anymore. Haha
9:30 "the ability to copy games to the system's memory" -- you actually can do that if you install custom firmware (which is really stupidly easy nowadays)
put cartridge in, reboot 3DS into special copying tool, wait 2 minutes, take cartridge out, launch game from homescreen
