Not in my case. My abuser accused menof being the abuser. Cps removed my kids for month jn 2018 tull I kept fighting being helped by Pro- bonos. Its been 7 years of a nighmare sharing a custody. I have never ask a child support thinking: How about the Father has not enought money for when my kids live with them? I was stup.. or too mind . Well, I always think about my children wellbeing but at this point : I' am goint yo court yo fight for a full cuatody because : - Dad refuse yo provide medical care and medication lrescribed by a Dr because he does not believe in meducine and allergiez. - He atill letting the dogs aleep in the same bed with children even knwoing that they have very hight level of Dog, cat and sust mite allergy. - He refuse to sig consent for treatment to our chikdren . He never NEVER help me at least with the other 50% of the school supplies, clothing, shoe, medicine that the imsurance does not cover , prescribed for our childten, backpacks, food containers for their school lunch NOTHING! I'am tired !

My wife is a pathological liar and she just filed an RO against me protesting her our two year old. I’m absolutely terrified and mortified that she could fabricate this all for the upper hand in our divorce. I’m beside myself. I can’t even sleep.

@@mymodernlaw Yes and no. I have an attorney and the judge still erred on the side of caution. Likely will have to go to trial but in the mean time, she was granted temporary orders in her favor. Really, I should be facing criminal charges for some of the ridiculous allegations, but she didn't even ask for a protective orders, just a parenting plan mod. Makes no sense with the heinous allegations made. I passed a CPS inspection with flying colors already and that didn't matter. I'm lost and feel helpless.

Even if money is tight, I would continue looking for a low cost attorney. In my area, attorneys are very expensive but I was able to find one that took a $1200 retainer and allows me to pay $300 every month which if you really grind and look hard, is achievable. When you represent yourself, you're going up against a season attorney that can run laps around you and screw you over bad.

I'm a mother and I was accused of sa abuse to my sons. There was coaching identified by the father, he was punishing me for wanting my sons and not him. 11 years have past and one ran away from his dad and is safe at home. He tells me he was starved, neglected, forced to eat dog food, exposed to gross things and the whole time I became psychotic because of the gross accusations so child protection used my mental illness to destroy my family. I couldn't get a lawyer because the state don't fund child protection matters and I couldn't get a job due to the accusations. Two of my sons were brainwashed and psychology reports said they were coached!. I haven't seen them in 11 years😢 my grandchild is being raised to hate me without knowing me😢 I have three of my children, but yearn for those stolen from me. I don't know if I can live with this forever, I exist, constantly miserable. Things and systems shouldn't be like this

A prison sentence for one spouse means that the other spouse gets the whole house instead of half the value of the house. That creates a strong incentive for someone to falsely accuse the other.

If you're like me and you *DON'T* have the THOUSANDS of dollars to throw away on an Attorney..... Here are some steps to help..... 1. *KEEP TRACK OF EVERYTHING.* Texts, emails, even calls if you can get it and make sure they KNOW they are being recorded. Having cameras outside AND inside your home... Focus on the areas of the house YOU are always in and make sure you are always in them. Do this so if anything happens - you always have an INSTANT alibi. The cameras are good for a week or so or however long they store the footage for - keep the texts and emails for LIFE. 2. Make *SURE* with *EVERY* false allegation that that allegation is DOCUMENTED, and if you can, always make sure you file court papers telling the courts that it is false.... Even IF they get away with it a couple times and you gotta eat shit those couple times.... Make SURE the record is there for *WHEN* they *DO* slip up - so you can *SHOW* the judge - "See, I TOLD you years ago it was false Your Honor." - then show them the documented papers from the last however many times.... 3. *DISTANCE YOURSELF* from the false accuser.... *STOP* thining you can fix it, or chnage them, you can't - it's over. NOW protect yourself. Make sure there is enough mileage between you and them that they can't just up and show up at your house whenever they feel like it.... *KEEP YOUR DISTANCE.* When meeting, do it in PUBLIC, make SURE there are cameras. 4. *NEVER BE ALONE* - Always.... ESPECIALLY around your children on visitation.... *NEVER* find yourself alone with the individual.... Because that person OR child, can and WILL manipulate and BE manipulated by the other parent to lie... You wanna make sure you have witnesses.... Even if it's just the other children.... NEVER let yourself be caught alone with the accuser or anyone they may be in contact with, even if it's your with your OWN children. Call neighbor to come hang out with you guys... Call other family... Till the situation has been FULLY resolved and the accuser is OUT of your life, NEVER be alone. 5. *READ THE STATE LAWS ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN YOUR STATE.* "Domestic Violence Act" *NOTHING BEATS KNOWLEDGE.* Knowing the laws is the BEST way to protect yourself, AND to know how to strike back when they let their guard down and get caught slippin.... Check the DEFINITIONS of the terms of the specific language used in the laws written in your state.... For Illinois - "ABUSE" can be defined as "HARASSMENT," in just one of many ways, Harassment is defined as "Threatening to take a minor child out of state or to improperly conceal the minor" In MY situation - my ex always threatens to leave the state with my son. ALWAYS bugging me to sign over my rights, and telling me she is moving out of state. Although she can NEVER provide the courts with enough that would satisfy them to ALLOW her to leave - I always KNOW I can rely on her eventually threatening me with it again. When she makes these threats - she also falsely accuses me of HORRENDOUS things with my kids.... Well - I am able in my state to get an Order of Protection based on the harassment of her threatening to leave the state. I can also prove I didn't do anything she accused me of - AND have kept track of EVERYTHING for years so I can show the Judge text messages, emails, history, video - and proof - that she threatened me again with taking him out of state. Even tho it's small - SHE broke the law in saying what she said. The judge HAS to uphold that law - so he is obligated to give me the O.P. now, which covers me AND my son, so I will get my son in the process as well. ALL because I learned the laws and waited for her to break them. You don't need a lawyer.. You need to be telling the REAL Truth - and you need to be able to prove it. Hope this helps!

Going through this right now. Our family is being torn apart by lies of abuse that were filed in retaliation for a contempt action brought against her, which I won. Her claims are so wild and completely unfounded. She wants more custody and support of just one child and doesn't mention the other, yet the claims being made are so drastic that if they were true, no child should be in the home they describe. None of it makes any sense. Very hard and expensive thing to go through.

This is actually happening to me right now, my son fell while naked on a step and injured his butt and my ex wife went to a doctor said she suspected abuse and since they are obligated to report I’m dealing with the child services investigation for a baseless claim. Mind you we have proven dozens of her claims false at this point but she just keeps increasing the severity of her claims it’s malevolent
I’m going through this as we speak. Took my kids away from me (was stay at home dad while ex wife worked the entire time son was awake (7-7pm). Now saying I apparently threw the kid like around in the living room maliciously, showing a text message in court when clearly I was talking about dancing with him or holding him in the air 🤦🏽♂️. And judge somehow believed her even though she said multiple times that she just got out of a psych ward a week prior to making these false allegations 😳🤷🏽♂️.

Hoping so too 🙏🏽. She’s not the person I married anymore from seeing who she was in court on the 4th last week. So it started with a insanely falsified report to the judge to initiate a no contact order. I was forced to leave my service dog behind (100% VA disabled Veteran and medically retired from the navy). And lied so much in court under oath to attempt further charges against me. Never have done any of this to her and now facing a violation because I’d texted her sisters brother when initially served this protective order to let her know I wasn’t home and the service dog was so I didn’t come home at the end of this to a dead dog as I couldn’t find his hard copy ID card at the time I was served and forced to vacate my home. She’d even put in her paperwork she was going to be staying at her parents house down the street the entirety of this falsified protective order 🤷🏽♂️. Already had to go to jail at the first hearing because of the said text and now have a hearing to see whether or not she wants to drop that charge. Never been charged of anything in my life or had a reason to hire an attorney. And they never heard my testimony or got a statement from me 😳🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️

It’s been more than one month I’m staying without my 5 years old daughter. I’ve been taking care of her since her birth. My husband falsely obtained restraining order against me and taught my daughter to lie to dcpp that her mother hits her. Wow you just blew me away ma'am kudos to you. I have been shaken down to the Core. 15 days ago my five boys will ripped out of my home by DSS period after a call was made to an officer not once but twice in one day for alleged domestic violence. Both times I was not home. Supposedly when the officer came the second time he found a pipe paraphernalia on my wife. At which time my wife completely threw me under the bus under false allegations. Therefore the officer called DSS I got a text from my wife telling me that an officer and DSs were there and she thought the children were going to be taken. Immediately immediately I ran the two blocks that I was away at a casino to find my wife DSS and the officer there. The officer tells me that the SS will be taking my children that there is drug use in the house and this is the second call for domestic violence I'm completely blown away at this point. Nobody will listen to me they think it's all my fault. I told the officer if she was calling the pipe "outside mind you" she should leave and that me and my boys were going inside. It ended with my five boys being loaded into a van I have not seen them since but one time for 2 hours. My boys are shaking they're scared they're crying they have only been away from my wife and I a handful of times they range from 12 years old to 1 and 1/2 my youngest is just staring at me like Daddy you're not there for me. There is so much more to the story I don't even have counsel at this point. Because I was led to believe that my wife's grandfather pay $3,000 to an attorney who we found out on the 10th day never entered into the case for us. I understand it sounds absurd maybe a little crazy. But that's because it is I have contacted multiple attorneys sense only to be turned away either they don't deal with DSS cases or the caseload is too full and it's too complex. I have been told not to fight by just about everybody I know plus a few attorneys but my children's eyes are burning inside of my soul the hopeless tears I see falling still from our meeting drives me I know that my 14th amendment has been violated yes the placement order has been put in place the temporary emergency custody is done and yet still I have not been able to speak one word on my behalf for my children for myself. The caseworker doesn't return my calls I didn't receive any of the paperwork that my wife did until yesterday because I requested it I'm not and haven't been offered a safety plan we are not on a reunification plan. Not a CPS worker, not an officer, not a soul ever talked to me or my family, not even my older children who are adults now was notified. But I proved my innocence and all charges were thrown out and yet still no contact with son because DHS says I did it and won't take it out of report. I even took a polygraph and passed. How do u fight false allegations when nobody will listen to wat u got to say. I've been railroaded from day 1. I'm about to lose all hope in our judicial system
If you can't afford an attorney, you won't stand a chance. That was the biggest mistake I made was trying to fight it on my own. In hindsight, even if I wanted a lawyer I couldn't have gotten one as she drained all the bank accounts and sold everything I had of value before I had a chance. That's why they call it the silver bullet. Without a law degree, it will probably work. I went in thinking no way would any sane person believe what she's saying when I have no history of any such behavior. Oh how wrong I was... It ended up hurting our daughter the most. I wish the courts would wake up to some of this stuff.

The family court lawyers associations/lobbyists have tried to block every equal parenting bill that's been put forth. This is a cash cow for the lawyers, judges, and commissioners. If a national equal/split custody bill was signed into law, I think most of you would be out of jobs. Divorcecorps is a fantastic documentary on this exact topic. Even if you're one of the very few who fight for men on this stuff. For every one of you, there's ten of the other. We don't need strategies to beat the individual cases. We need sweeping reform of the entire family court system. Anyone who isn't for that, is being willfully ignorant, or benefiting from the current system.

Also, the harder the allegations against a person, the deeper the system burys the accused before the start of the case. There's a lot of work to do in family courts in such cases to begin to be believed. I have witnessed circumstantial evidence, defects in character in any of the accused's backstory carrys weight in their credibility in the allegations in question. Thank you for this video. I am exactly in this position. We have been married 24.5 years, a loving couple with two young children and no history of any abuse. I don’t even have a parking ticket on my record. My wife fabricated over 20 years of abuse due to a change in personality and behavior as result of mild TBI caused by a car accident. She then committed infidelity and the verbal arguments started. She has had a temporary protection order on me for three months, and I have a restraining order against her. I was able to regain full temporary custody of our children. The children and I have been in therapy for four months. I have a high paying job that supports both her and the children, and she has promised to destroyed my career. She also told our 8 year old daughter that she was going to “destroy this Fucxxxing family.” There were dozens of reasons for the judge to dismiss the petition and he has not. There were dozens of reason for the judge to reclassify me the children as the one needing the protecting, and he did not. The court put the desire of the women, even before the needs of the children.
I was in an abusive relationship for six years. I escaped, yes escaped, and took our daughter with. My ex now uses the courts against me and has threatened to call CPS and the police because I am not communicating in the way that he likes. For example, replying within five minutes of a text. He says that he is the victim and that I am neglectful. It's so odd and strange... I don't understand how he can be so demanding and it's doesn't even involve our child... He hasn't brought it up in court but we have our final coming up. I have representation now. I love our child. She always comes first. This whole thing is just so mind boggling. In the UK many child social worker's make many false report's against innocent people and the courts actually believe them😢more so when they have things to cover up
Every allegation of Child Abuse must be investigated instead of being brushed aside DISMISSED the way it is in the ChILD-HATING Family Court System. Otherwise, send all the abuse and Domestic Violence cases to Criminal Court where they appropriately beling. The way child abusers get to have a fields day in Family Court is absolutely apalling!
The situation described is my entire year. I lost my 5 yo daughter to covid on jam 3 2022. Ava-Mae was from a previous relationship, while my other dauggter and 2 step daughters were my familyvwith wife of 6 yrs. Jan 22 was Ava-Mae's funeral, and my ex was extremely insensitive and jealous and fighting with me all morning. as I was leaving, 45 min before service started, she called in false assault charges and had me arrested. since.... she has let me see/talk to my children once, Aug 20, and has launched an extensive campaign (claiming yrs of abuse and drugs) which has resulted in loss of my job, home, all belongings.. and my nuclear family.. my parents havnt spoken to me in months, believing it... I'm still in shock... we were happy. had a wonderful loving kind warn home. and out of no where.... interestingly.. my stepdaughter bio dad (deceased last year suicide) was portrayed exactly the same. she is always the innocent victim. so many more details, including security cam proof that directly contradicts her initial police report... and despite it all... all the gut wrenching pain.. anger at betrayel. disgust at the diversion from the focus being a child lost... I still love her. still want her to be the wonderful woman she is. still willing to go to any length to provide my girls with the loving, safe, and happy family that we all thought we had. maybe im a fool, but i value my children's future... and they need to see us show it. I just wish I wasn't so alone... it kills me imagining the hurt they feel seeing they're mom vilify their dad.... literally overnight. advice, help.. anything is welcome. my girls deserve better
My ex wife of 12 years falsely accused me of domestic violence, she has been denied by the judge, but now a non profit organization is helping her with attorney fees, so I'm getting served every other month on the same RFO custody case, it's becoming too much for me to handle.
Same situation! The women organisations and feminist organisations are crazy. I didn't know that before but they're populated by insane women, often borderline or NPD. Keep fighting it out! Don't give up! When it comes to narcissists - which is the likely case with these women - you have to fight until the end.

I brought a foreigner to this country and we got married in February now (may) he received his paperwork to legally stay here and is now saying I have been emotionally abusing him and has filed something called a VAWA case against me. I have no idea what to do and I’m hoping I can fight this thing successfully.
What if you showed 49 screenshots of text messages. Had over 160 but was only allowed 49. No history of abuse, never a police report, but only false allegations with no proof. The other part had contradicting statements, inconsistency and submitted a new report where she walked back on statements? Judge still chose to believe them but didn’t charge the other party.
What If the Abuser plead down in criminal for a domestic violence charge on immunity because they are law enforcement. I’m stuck. I can’t afford a attorney but when it’s law enforcement no one wants your case. I was accused of of things that effected my custody and no evidence was given to the judge. Myself and my sister take care of my mother. Much to our surprise we got accused of Elder abuse of my mother by an Anonymous person (whom I suspect is a family member who wants to be involved more directly in our mother's care). An Adult Protective Services case manager showed up to inspect our apartment and told us she was there because they were called for elder abuse. How can I protect myself or get info on who submitted this false claim? Would really like to know who did this to us? Thanks!
This is exactly what's happening. I received an order of protection against me for my mother while she only has no more than a month and a half or so left to live. My fiance and our dog and I are now homeless living from our truck. We took care of my uncle my aunt his wife and my father till their individual deaths and never asked for money. My sister 2as I. Vacation for our 7ncle and father's passing and didn't care at all when our aunt passed but now has power of attorney, changed the will to an irrevocable trust and turned everyone against my fiance and I. I am grateful to have spent the time with my family even if this is the outcome. I just wish my siblings weren't so 😔
This is my life right now and there are no words to explain how hard and painful this is. My wife got on the stand at the protection order hearing and lied through her teeth. Because I'm under a criminal investigation for her false allegations I could say NOTHING. My attorney did a great job defending me and calling out her discrepancies but the judge wanted to wait and look at the evidence again. I won't know until next week what he decides.
Going through it too. An investigator in our case caught her in lie after lie, and ultimately determined there was no domestic violence and I should have full custody of our children. She and her lawyer then went after the investigator and got her suspended. Now we are starting over. I have text messages that refute her allegations. I have witnesses. I have audio and video. But it keeps getting continued to later and later dates.
OR, the spouse isn't lying at all - and the judge just can't believe it...and then the kids are jerked up and sent to live with the abuser, who happily uses the kids to get back at the other parent...and when it comes out in the wash at the end - the judge finds that it WAS occurring, but just for that brief period... my lawyer absolutely WASN'T aggressive enough.

I'm in that situation right now I've never raised my voice or displayed any form of aggression ever but yet she's saying that I am violence she fears for the Is safety of the children. It's funny too because I got served today and reading it it says that I am this horrible person and the kids should not be around or in my care. But at the same time she asks me what time am I picking up the kids Friday... I have kept all of our texting back-and-forth for the past 6 years. And about a month ago she said pay me or you will never see your kids again. A few months ago she said do what I say or I am going to take you to court. The day after she got me she said you are a man you have no rights you will never get these kids. That was the response I got from me asking asking could I come by and pick up the kids to take them to the park and bring them back she said no it's kidnapping. She has pushed me out so far and refuse to help and then turns around and makes me look like I'm this monster. She wrote down all the abuse allegations and all these things about me being mentally unstable and unpredictable and I'm stalking her and none of it's true. All of that was attached to the paperwork of establishing establishing parental rights.

My ex son in law (he was married to my daughter but she died three years ago they have three daughters under five at the time). After my daughter died he remarried and had another baby with his new wife. My daughters family accused him of molesting his oldest daughter which is an in sane accusation just because they want the girls. The state took the kids, it's been two years. He and his wife had to get a divorce. The girls are under foster care with the accusing family. We hired the best lawyers in his state. After 10k they still have not been able to even get his vpo's lifted or visitations going again. This has ruined his life. Not only is he grieving his wife dying, he hasn't seen his kids, he is forced to divorce his new wife and their daughter taken away, he lost his military career, he's spent all the money he can find and borrow and STILL he can't get anywhere. I trust his lawyers but I'm saying this because it's said how just because this family wants my daughters girls, they can make this happen. Nobody stands a change if you need the court system, and you are a male accused of abuse. I don't know what to do.

I sued the state for recovery of costs but they awarded themselves sovereign immunity embracing fact of me proofing that the social workers had cooked the books! They called it standard normal operating procedure! This was a huge blunder legally and the Fed took exception to it in the followings years of budget funding...
I can prove it but I was put in jail! My husband has dementia, and I have been caring for him. He’s had this dementia for three years with Parkinson’s. We moved closer to his family and he put his sister as his health advocate over me and she purposely got inside his head to confuse him and he became very combative with me, and not trust me, I have taken great care of him. My husband retired three years ago. Our lives have been destroyed by cos. They dragged me to court saying I neglected my child, there were mandates and no workers for my autistic child, and they said I neglected to get them. Then people chased us to my sister's house, and people harassed us, nurses called cps because she disliked me. My baby was swaddled in a blanket and diaper, plenty warm, and she said she had no clothes on. Car was warm. We lived only feet away from the office. She never got cold. Then she called again because she wanted to make a referral to a specialist. Then she said "we'll wait" to me. Then dhhs' showed up to investigate. Then they had an appointed lawyer that said to file jeapardy on me "to get certain dhhs' services" that he wouldn't specify. Then they chased us everywhere we went with papers to sign it I'd lose my daughter. Told us we neglected our daughter because we didn't make it to an appointment the day Dr. Offices were closed, but we were there! They said, Sorry we're closed!" I said, what do I do? Push them out if the way and enter anyway??" Then we were sick, and the nurse refused to touch us and help us, so we got our child out of the car. It was 90 and our car air was broken. We got her to the shade as best as we could, and they called cps saying her bare feet were in the ground. The same office as the nurse I spoke of earlier. The office where a chubby woman named brown appeared and stated she worked for dhhs' and could make our lives a living hell. And now it continues.
I'm in this situation I have got c.p.s records, Austria medical records, comprehensive metal health records, supervised visits reports, and children , And G.A.L REPORT . all the records clearly show that my daughter mother is out of her mind . Wow! Those are pretty ridiculous lengths to go to paint a false picture of someone, you should definitely show the texts to your attorney and hear what they have to say.

This is exactly what happened to me after I ended our 22-year relationship in May of 2022, In June I was served a domestic violence protection papers packet and removed from my house...... by the way I am 1000% innocent of these allegations I have never ever raised my hand to her or threatened her in any serious way. ( of course we have all jokeed around, all in fun. NEVER seriously ) And now I'm being garnished for child support for a child that I have been living with and supporting damn near her whole life. I've got a protection order against me and she's lied TWO other times and now I'm facing charges of breaking that protection order TWICE..... And she's turned our daughter against me, I haven't talked to my daughter and over six months now, and we used to be very very loving and very tight...... she was Daddy's Little Girl, and now I fear I've been demonized in her eyes from my EX talking g smack about me. What am I supposed to do about that ? I have hired a lawyer but he is very very expensive So I guess my question would be, what should the lawyer fees be for this ? Because I don't think he wanted to take my case and he gave me some ungodly number thinking that I wouldn't be able to pay that so I got a personal loan and I paid it thinking that it's going to be worth it in the end. I'm in the same situation as well. I've had joint custody of my 3 kids for 2 years. During that time, she called the cops on me several times and also child protective services but nothing came of it. She somehow convinced my son to say i've been abusing him, so all 3 were taken away. I've never abused him or any of the kids. I've now had to do supervised visitation for the last 14 months, costing $1k a month. Not only that, the police are trying to interview me as well as child protective services. This is all public and now anyone that googles me or checks the records can see this. The best thing you can do is remain calm, clear headed and let your ex and the child dig themselves a hole. Don't talk to the police or child protective services because they are not on your side. With this kind of allegation, they already have their mind made up and want to prosecute you. They are good at twisting words and asking leading questions. Have confidence in the fact you haven't done anything. Also have a backup plan. If the police are coming at you hard, make sure you've consulted with a defense attorney and have somewhat of a gameplan. Whatever you do, don't settle in family court either. Take it all the way and show that you are not afraid and you are innocent. So far this has kept me out of trouble. During my visits, their mom has shown what kind of person she is by missing visits and encouraging the kids to be bad and say stuff about me. If you just stay the course, do what you're supposed to and show your character, it will make it much easier for her to be exposed. Good luck!

I'm in the same boat as you are in the judge on my end in North Carolina decided to overrule my continuance to pay my lawyer that way I can have him. She lied and said that I hit her and she attacked me like a wild animal I was sleeping and she come in and hit me in my eye busted it open and I told her I was going to take out papers after 7 years of marriage I know one time hit that girl but they believed her and I was surprised when we went to court. When she said he smacked me back handing me in my face like really what that hit me hard I was not expecting that.
Well I am. She has been on a campaign of alienation fur over a year now and to complicate things my son lies and embellishes like crazy. Thankfully this is documented greatly by credible non familial witnesses. It’s sad that I’m fxn to spend tens of thousands of dollars fighting this.
I was investigated three or four times by Probation, six or seven times by CPS, once by the FBI, and two or three times by the local police, for supposed physical and sexual abuse of our toddler daughter, and then others. I had one of the messiest divorce cases in my county. I wanted equal time joint custody long before that was a known or commonly accepted option. She, the Ex-, used her considerable charms and tears to persuade the court counselor and a court appointed psychologist. She initially got everything she wanted, and I got almost nothing. I laid low. Almost immediately, she started using me, a supposed child abuser and child molester, as an almost daily baby sitter and several overnights. I eventually was able to prove an extensive pattern of lying by my Ex. Both the court appointed psychologist and court counselor totally flipped. I won total custody at a time when males had zero chance of having primary custody (tender years doctrine). She then kidnapped our toddler daughter and disappeared for nine months. After bribing her back, I finally obtained physical custody. The court bent over backwards protecting her rights, ordering the Probation Department to investigating me. The daughter had only two temper tantrums with me. Of course, one started just as the Probation officer rang the doorbell. After letting the officer in, I picked the toddler daughter up, asked her to take a nap, and promised we would make things right when she woke up. She woke up about 40 minutes later wanting lots of hugs, but could not remember why she was angry. After four meetings, the probation officers wrote that up as handling discipline with a firm hand. My Ex reported me to CPS for child abuse multiple times and to the FBI as the Unibomber and maybe got neighbors to also make false reports. I always cooperated with investigators and always came out clean. I think during the CPS first visit, I was explaining the custody conflict history while the daughter was happily singing to herself a few feet away while swinging on the swing hanging from the living room ceiling. I asked her to put her swimming suit (bikini style) on which she happily did; not a scratch anywhere. The Ex-‘s baseless accusations only stopped when the judge threatened her with jail time for contempt. Knowing what I know now, I would probably still let the investigators in, but would insist on video recording everything for everybody’s safety. I was assaulted annually for about a decade by the Ex-. She was of equal size, weight, and strength. She often used weapons (pogo stick, baseball bat.) I reported every incident to the police and to the courts. Several times the police took confirming photos of sizable fresh bruises. The DA and the court repeatedly did nothing. When our daughter was in the third grade, I asked her where she would like to live if something were to happen to me. Her two choices did not include Mom. I figured the best witness to her choices and reasoning would be the court counselor. The counselor apparent asked about her relations to her mother. She told about a fist fight she had with her mother on the school grounds several months earlier. At the next court hearing, the judge on his own initiative issued a permanent restraining order. Several months later, the Ex- came by, wanting to borrow some money. She had stopped payment on a prior check, so I refused to loan her any more money and went back to work. She kicked me in the genitals. I landed on the ground in a fetal position and was wiped out for nearly two weeks. The DA finally took action and the court issued an warrant, but dropped the warrant in less than a year. The Ex- was never inconvenienced for any of her antics at any point. The daughter has wanted nothing to do with her mother for over thirty years now, but gets along fine with all her other maternal relatives (and me.)
What happens when the wife claims the kids told her they were sexually abused by the father? The allegations were fabricated and 6+ authorities (police, child services, crisis hospital, custody evaluator) concluded they were unfounded. My children were put through 5 interviews and didn’t disclose any abuse and said they weren’t afraid of me. But the wife’s defense is “you can’t prove the kids didn’t say this”. It’s disgusting. I’m waiting for a trial date. I’ve done what you said and found at least one allegation was told 6 different ways. Severity was increased over time, etc.

- Dad refuse yo provide medical care and medication lrescribed by a Dr because he does not believe in meducine and allergiez.

@@mymodernlaw Yes and no. I have an attorney and the judge still erred on the side of caution. Likely will have to go to trial but in the mean time, she was granted temporary orders in her favor. Really, I should be facing criminal charges for some of the ridiculous allegations, but she didn't even ask for a protective orders, just a parenting plan mod. Makes no sense with the heinous allegations made. I passed a CPS inspection with flying colors already and that didn't matter. I'm lost and feel helpless.

Even if money is tight, I would continue looking for a low cost attorney. In my area, attorneys are very expensive but I was able to find one that took a $1200 retainer and allows me to pay $300 every month which if you really grind and look hard, is achievable. When you represent yourself, you're going up against a season attorney that can run laps around you and screw you over bad.

I'm a mother and I was accused of sa abuse to my sons. There was coaching identified by the father, he was punishing me for wanting my sons and not him. 11 years have past and one ran away from his dad and is safe at home. He tells me he was starved, neglected, forced to eat dog food, exposed to gross things and the whole time I became psychotic because of the gross accusations so child protection used my mental illness to destroy my family. I couldn't get a lawyer because the state don't fund child protection matters and I couldn't get a job due to the accusations. Two of my sons were brainwashed and psychology reports said they were coached!. I haven't seen them in 11 years😢 my grandchild is being raised to hate me without knowing me😢 I have three of my children, but yearn for those stolen from me. I don't know if I can live with this forever, I exist, constantly miserable. Things and systems shouldn't be like this

A prison sentence for one spouse means that the other spouse gets the whole house instead of half the value of the house. That creates a strong incentive for someone to falsely accuse the other.

If you're like me and you *DON'T* have the THOUSANDS of dollars to throw away on an Attorney.....
Here are some steps to help.....
1. *KEEP TRACK OF EVERYTHING.* Texts, emails, even calls if you can get it and make sure they KNOW they are being recorded.
Having cameras outside AND inside your home... Focus on the areas of the house YOU are always in and make sure you are always in them. Do this so if anything happens - you always have an INSTANT alibi. The cameras are good for a week or so or however long they store the footage for - keep the texts and emails for LIFE.
2. Make *SURE* with *EVERY* false allegation that that allegation is DOCUMENTED, and if you can, always make sure you file court papers telling the courts that it is false.... Even IF they get away with it a couple times and you gotta eat shit those couple times....
Make SURE the record is there for *WHEN* they *DO* slip up - so you can *SHOW* the judge - "See, I TOLD you years ago it was false Your Honor." - then show them the documented papers from the last however many times....
3. *DISTANCE YOURSELF* from the false accuser.... *STOP* thining you can fix it, or chnage them, you can't - it's over. NOW protect yourself. Make sure there is enough mileage between you and them that they can't just up and show up at your house whenever they feel like it.... *KEEP YOUR DISTANCE.* When meeting, do it in PUBLIC, make SURE there are cameras.
4. *NEVER BE ALONE* - Always.... ESPECIALLY around your children on visitation.... *NEVER* find yourself alone with the individual.... Because that person OR child, can and WILL manipulate and BE manipulated by the other parent to lie... You wanna make sure you have witnesses.... Even if it's just the other children.... NEVER let yourself be caught alone with the accuser or anyone they may be in contact with, even if it's your with your OWN children. Call neighbor to come hang out with you guys... Call other family... Till the situation has been FULLY resolved and the accuser is OUT of your life, NEVER be alone.
5. *READ THE STATE LAWS ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN YOUR STATE.* "Domestic Violence Act"
*NOTHING BEATS KNOWLEDGE.* Knowing the laws is the BEST way to protect yourself, AND to know how to strike back when they let their guard down and get caught slippin....
Check the DEFINITIONS of the terms of the specific language used in the laws written in your state....
For Illinois - "ABUSE" can be defined as "HARASSMENT," in just one of many ways, Harassment is defined as "Threatening to take a minor child out of state or to improperly conceal the minor"
In MY situation - my ex always threatens to leave the state with my son. ALWAYS bugging me to sign over my rights, and telling me she is moving out of state.
Although she can NEVER provide the courts with enough that would satisfy them to ALLOW her to leave - I always KNOW I can rely on her eventually threatening me with it again.
When she makes these threats - she also falsely accuses me of HORRENDOUS things with my kids....
Well - I am able in my state to get an Order of Protection based on the harassment of her threatening to leave the state.
I can also prove I didn't do anything she accused me of - AND have kept track of EVERYTHING for years so I can show the Judge text messages, emails, history, video - and proof - that she threatened me again with taking him out of state.
Even tho it's small - SHE broke the law in saying what she said. The judge HAS to uphold that law - so he is obligated to give me the O.P. now, which covers me AND my son, so I will get my son in the process as well.
ALL because I learned the laws and waited for her to break them.
You don't need a lawyer.. You need to be telling the REAL Truth - and you need to be able to prove it.

Girl point out to the court that these issues have already been handled. If he tries to switch judges or courts, point out he’s “court shopping” essentially until he gets his way. Best of luck to you either way!

Going through this right now. Our family is being torn apart by lies of abuse that were filed in retaliation for a contempt action brought against her, which I won. Her claims are so wild and completely unfounded. She wants more custody and support of just one child and doesn't mention the other, yet the claims being made are so drastic that if they were true, no child should be in the home they describe. None of it makes any sense. Very hard and expensive thing to go through.

I did everything correctly hired an attorney spent 20k she didn’t show up court hearings didn’t obey her court orders and yet I’m the bad guy. Luckily law enforcement didn’t believed her crap. This is actually happening to me right now, my son fell while naked on a step and injured his butt and my ex wife went to a doctor said she suspected abuse and since they are obligated to report I’m dealing with the child services investigation for a baseless claim. Mind you we have proven dozens of her claims false at this point but she just keeps increasing the severity of her claims it’s malevolent

I’m going through this as we speak. Took my kids away from me (was stay at home dad while ex wife worked the entire time son was awake (7-7pm). Now saying I apparently threw the kid like around in the living room maliciously, showing a text message in court when clearly I was talking about dancing with him or holding him in the air 🤦🏽♂️. And judge somehow believed her even though she said multiple times that she just got out of a psych ward a week prior to making these false allegations 😳🤷🏽♂️.

Hoping so too 🙏🏽. She’s not the person I married anymore from seeing who she was in court on the 4th last week. So it started with a insanely falsified report to the judge to initiate a no contact order. I was forced to leave my service dog behind (100% VA disabled Veteran and medically retired from the navy). And lied so much in court under oath to attempt further charges against me. Never have done any of this to her and now facing a violation because I’d texted her sisters brother when initially served this protective order to let her know I wasn’t home and the service dog was so I didn’t come home at the end of this to a dead dog as I couldn’t find his hard copy ID card at the time I was served and forced to vacate my home. She’d even put in her paperwork she was going to be staying at her parents house down the street the entirety of this falsified protective order 🤷🏽♂️. Already had to go to jail at the first hearing because of the said text and now have a hearing to see whether or not she wants to drop that charge. Never been charged of anything in my life or had a reason to hire an attorney. And they never heard my testimony or got a statement from me 😳🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️

It’s been more than one month I’m staying without my 5 years old daughter. I’ve been taking care of her since her birth. My husband falsely obtained restraining order against me and taught my daughter to lie to dcpp that her mother hits her. Wow you just blew me away ma'am kudos to you. I have been shaken down to the Core. 15 days ago my five boys will ripped out of my home by DSS period after a call was made to an officer not once but twice in one day for alleged domestic violence. Both times I was not home. Supposedly when the officer came the second time he found a pipe paraphernalia on my wife. At which time my wife completely threw me under the bus under false allegations. Therefore the officer called DSS I got a text from my wife telling me that an officer and DSs were there and she thought the children were going to be taken. Immediately immediately I ran the two blocks that I was away at a casino to find my wife DSS and the officer there. The officer tells me that the SS will be taking my children that there is drug use in the house and this is the second call for domestic violence I'm completely blown away at this point. Nobody will listen to me they think it's all my fault. I told the officer if she was calling the pipe "outside mind you" she should leave and that me and my boys were going inside. It ended with my five boys being loaded into a van I have not seen them since but one time for 2 hours. My boys are shaking they're scared they're crying they have only been away from my wife and I a handful of times they range from 12 years old to 1 and 1/2 my youngest is just staring at me like Daddy you're not there for me. There is so much more to the story I don't even have counsel at this point. Because I was led to believe that my wife's grandfather pay $3,000 to an attorney who we found out on the 10th day never entered into the case for us. I understand it sounds absurd maybe a little crazy. But that's because it is I have contacted multiple attorneys sense only to be turned away either they don't deal with DSS cases or the caseload is too full and it's too complex. I have been told not to fight by just about everybody I know plus a few attorneys but my children's eyes are burning inside of my soul the hopeless tears I see falling still from our meeting drives me I know that my 14th amendment has been violated yes the placement order has been put in place the temporary emergency custody is done and yet still I have not been able to speak one word on my behalf for my children for myself. The caseworker doesn't return my calls I didn't receive any of the paperwork that my wife did until yesterday because I requested it I'm not and haven't been offered a safety plan we are not on a reunification plan. Not a CPS worker, not an officer, not a soul ever talked to me or my family, not even my older children who are adults now was notified. But I proved my innocence and all charges were thrown out and yet still no contact with son because DHS says I did it and won't take it out of report. I even took a polygraph and passed. How do u fight false allegations when nobody will listen to wat u got to say. I've been railroaded from day 1. I'm about to lose all hope in our judicial system
If you can't afford an attorney, you won't stand a chance. That was the biggest mistake I made was trying to fight it on my own. In hindsight, even if I wanted a lawyer I couldn't have gotten one as she drained all the bank accounts and sold everything I had of value before I had a chance. That's why they call it the silver bullet. Without a law degree, it will probably work. I went in thinking no way would any sane person believe what she's saying when I have no history of any such behavior. Oh how wrong I was... It ended up hurting our daughter the most. I wish the courts would wake up to some of this stuff.

@@mymodernlaw well, let's be honest here, the lawyers are over half the reason family court gets so expensive. The family court lawyers associations/lobbyists have tried to block every equal parenting bill that's been put forth. This is a cash cow for the lawyers, judges, and commissioners. If a national equal/split custody bill was signed into law, I think most of you would be out of jobs. Divorcecorps is a fantastic documentary on this exact topic. Even if you're one of the very few who fight for men on this stuff. For every one of you, there's ten of the other. We don't need strategies to beat the individual cases. We need sweeping reform of the entire family court system. Anyone who isn't for that, is being willfully ignorant, or benefiting from the current system.

Also, the harder the allegations against a person, the deeper the system burys the accused before the start of the case. There's a lot of work to do in family courts in such cases to begin to be believed. I have witnessed circumstantial evidence, defects in character in any of the accused's backstory carrys weight in their credibility in the allegations in question. Thank you for this video. I am exactly in this position. We have been married 24.5 years, a loving couple with two young children and no history of any abuse. I don’t even have a parking ticket on my record. My wife fabricated over 20 years of abuse due to a change in personality and behavior as result of mild TBI caused by a car accident. She then committed infidelity and the verbal arguments started. She has had a temporary protection order on me for three months, and I have a restraining order against her. I was able to regain full temporary custody of our children. The children and I have been in therapy for four months. I have a high paying job that supports both her and the children, and she has promised to destroyed my career. She also told our 8 year old daughter that she was going to “destroy this Fucxxxing family.” There were dozens of reasons for the judge to dismiss the petition and he has not. There were dozens of reason for the judge to reclassify me the children as the one needing the protecting, and he did not. The court put the desire of the women, even before the needs of the children.
My ex just took all my custody away. I know have to file a motion to vacate. This is horrible
I was in an abusive relationship for six years. I escaped, yes escaped, and took our daughter with. My ex now uses the courts against me and has threatened to call CPS and the police because I am not communicating in the way that he likes. For example, replying within five minutes of a text. He says that he is the victim and that I am neglectful. It's so odd and strange... I don't understand how he can be so demanding and it's doesn't even involve our child... He hasn't brought it up in court but we have our final coming up. I have representation now. I love our child. She always comes first. This whole thing is just so mind boggling. In the UK many child social worker's make many false report's against innocent people and the courts actually believe them😢more so when they have things to cover up

The situation described is my entire year. I lost my 5 yo daughter to covid on jam 3 2022. Ava-Mae was from a previous relationship, while my other dauggter and 2 step daughters were my familyvwith wife of 6 yrs. Jan 22 was Ava-Mae's funeral, and my ex was extremely insensitive and jealous and fighting with me all morning. as I was leaving, 45 min before service started, she called in false assault charges and had me arrested. since.... she has let me see/talk to my children once, Aug 20, and has launched an extensive campaign (claiming yrs of abuse and drugs) which has resulted in loss of my job, home, all belongings.. and my nuclear family.. my parents havnt spoken to me in months, believing it... I'm still in shock... we were happy. had a wonderful loving kind warn home. and out of no where.... interestingly.. my stepdaughter bio dad (deceased last year suicide) was portrayed exactly the same. she is always the innocent victim. so many more details, including security cam proof that directly contradicts her initial police report... and despite it all... all the gut wrenching pain.. anger at betrayel. disgust at the diversion from the focus being a child lost... I still love her. still want her to be the wonderful woman she is. still willing to go to any length to provide my girls with the loving, safe, and happy family that we all thought we had. maybe im a fool, but i value my children's future... and they need to see us show it. I just wish I wasn't so alone... it kills me imagining the hurt they feel seeing they're mom vilify their dad.... literally overnight. advice, help.. anything is welcome. my girls deserve better

My ex wife of 12 years falsely accused me of domestic violence, she has been denied by the judge, but now a non profit organization is helping her with attorney fees, so I'm getting served every other month on the same RFO custody case, it's becoming too much for me to handle.
Same situation! The women organisations and feminist organisations are crazy. I didn't know that before but they're populated by insane women, often borderline or NPD. Keep fighting it out! Don't give up! When it comes to narcissists - which is the likely case with these women - you have to fight until the end.

What if you showed 49 screenshots of text messages. Had over 160 but was only allowed 49. No history of abuse, never a police report, but only false allegations with no proof. The other part had contradicting statements, inconsistency and submitted a new report where she walked back on statements? Judge still chose to believe them but didn’t charge the other party.
What If the Abuser plead down in criminal for a domestic violence charge on immunity because they are law enforcement. I’m stuck. I can’t afford a attorney but when it’s law enforcement no one wants your case.
I was accused of of things that effected my custody and no evidence was given to the judge. I usually wouldn’t ask on here but a mom will do anything to keep her children and herself safe. Officer involved domestic violence is is something I wished I knew about.

Myself and my sister take care of my mother. Much to our surprise we got accused of Elder abuse of my mother by an Anonymous person (whom I suspect is a family member who wants to be involved more directly in our mother's care). An Adult Protective Services case manager showed up to inspect our apartment and told us she was there because they were called for elder abuse. How can I protect myself or get info on who submitted this false claim? Would really like to know who did this to us? Thanks!

This is exactly what's happening. I received an order of protection against me for my mother while she only has no more than a month and a half or so left to live. My fiance and our dog and I are now homeless living from our truck. We took care of my uncle my aunt his wife and my father till their individual deaths and never asked for money. My sister 2as I. Vacation for our 7ncle and father's passing and didn't care at all when our aunt passed but now has power of attorney, changed the will to an irrevocable trust and turned everyone against my fiance and I. I am grateful to have spent the time with my family even if this is the outcome. I just wish my siblings weren't so 😔

This is my life right now and there are no words to explain how hard and painful this is. My wife got on the stand at the protection order hearing and lied through her teeth. Because I'm under a criminal investigation for her false allegations I could say NOTHING. My attorney did a great job defending me and calling out her discrepancies but the judge wanted to wait and look at the evidence again. I won't know until next week what he decides.
Going through it too. An investigator in our case caught her in lie after lie, and ultimately determined there was no domestic violence and I should have full custody of our children. She and her lawyer then went after the investigator and got her suspended. Now we are starting over. I have text messages that refute her allegations. I have witnesses. I have audio and video. But it keeps getting continued to later and later dates.
OR, the spouse isn't lying at all - and the judge just can't believe it...and then the kids are jerked up and sent to live with the abuser, who happily uses the kids to get back at the other parent...and when it comes out in the wash at the end - the judge finds that it WAS occurring, but just for that brief period... my lawyer absolutely WASN'T aggressive enough.
So sorry to hear that, I hope you can find someone who's willing to push harder for their clients and their families!

It's funny too because I got served today and reading it it says that I am this horrible person and the kids should not be around or in my care. But at the same time she asks me what time am I picking up the kids Friday...
I have kept all of our texting back-and-forth for the past 6 years. And about a month ago she said pay me or you will never see your kids again. A few months ago she said do what I say or I am going to take you to court. The day after she got me she said you are a man you have no rights you will never get these kids. That was the response I got from me asking asking could I come by and pick up the kids to take them to the park and bring them back she said no it's kidnapping. She has pushed me out so far and refuse to help and then turns around and makes me look like I'm this monster. She wrote down all the abuse allegations and all these things about me being mentally unstable and unpredictable and I'm stalking her and none of it's true. All of that was attached to the paperwork of establishing establishing parental rights.

My ex son in law (he was married to my daughter but she died three years ago they have three daughters under five at the time). After my daughter died he remarried and had another baby with his new wife. My daughters family accused him of molesting his oldest daughter which is an in sane accusation just because they want the girls. The state took the kids, it's been two years. He and his wife had to get a divorce. The girls are under foster care with the accusing family. We hired the best lawyers in his state. After 10k they still have not been able to even get his vpo's lifted or visitations going again. This has ruined his life. Not only is he grieving his wife dying, he hasn't seen his kids, he is forced to divorce his new wife and their daughter taken away, he lost his military career, he's spent all the money he can find and borrow and STILL he can't get anywhere. I trust his lawyers but I'm saying this because it's said how just because this family wants my daughters girls, they can make this happen. Nobody stands a change if you need the court system, and you are a male accused of abuse. I don't know what to do.

I sued the state for recovery of costs but they awarded themselves sovereign immunity embracing fact of me proofing that the social workers had cooked the books! They called it standard normal operating procedure! This was a huge blunder legally and the Fed took exception to it in the followings years of budget funding...

My husband has dementia, and I have been caring for him. He’s had this dementia for three years with Parkinson’s. We moved closer to his family and he put his sister as his health advocate over me and she purposely got inside his head to confuse him and he became very combative with me, and not trust me, I have taken great care of him. I was always confident when I gave him his medication but I was falsely accused and she brought APS in my house and they took my husband away. I haven’t seen him now in six months. I’m absolutely devastated. I did nothing wrong but I haven’t been able to defend myself or say one word and I got videos to prove that she lied to the state but nobody wants to see it

Our lives have been destroyed by cos. They dragged me to court saying I neglected my child, there were mandates and no workers for my autistic child, and they said I neglected to get them. Then people chased us to my sister's house, and people harassed us, nurses called cps because she disliked me. My baby was swaddled in a blanket and diaper, plenty warm, and she said she had no clothes on. Car was warm. We lived only feet away from the office. She never got cold. Then she called again because she wanted to make a referral to a specialist. Then she said "we'll wait" to me. Then dhhs' showed up to investigate. Then they had an appointed lawyer that said to file jeapardy on me "to get certain dhhs' services" that he wouldn't specify. Then they chased us everywhere we went with papers to sign it I'd lose my daughter. Told us we neglected our daughter because we didn't make it to an appointment the day Dr. Offices were closed, but we were there! They said, Sorry we're closed!" I said, what do I do? Push them out if the way and enter anyway??" Then we were sick, and the nurse refused to touch us and help us, so we got our child out of the car. It was 90 and our car air was broken. We got her to the shade as best as we could, and they called cps saying her bare feet were in the ground. The same office as the nurse I spoke of earlier. The office where a chubby woman named brown appeared and stated she worked for dhhs' and could make our lives a living hell. And now it continues.

And G.A.L REPORT . all the records clearly show that my daughter mother is out of her mind . She was order to get metal evaluation, "result " pending. I have really been Alinated since March 8th 2020. Have only seen my little girl a total of 32 hours since then. February 21st 2021 was the last time I spent time with my daughter . My wife asked to use my phone to text someone and I wouldn’t let her use my personal phone so I let her use my work phone then she proceeded to text to herself posing as me that I was threatening to kill her and that to not call the police saying that I beat her also saying who’s going to believe her because she’s illegal then deleted the text messages but I recovered them on my phone, she wants to try to get papers by saying that I physically abused her but I plan on showing these texts to my attorney
Wow! Those are pretty ridiculous lengths to go to paint a false picture of someone, you should definitely show the texts to your attorney and hear what they have to say.

False accusations of abuse, she even has accused him of SA to the GAL and his attorney wants me to make a statement to tye GAL. She falsely accused Me back in 2008. This is exactly what happened to me after I ended our 22-year relationship in May of 2022, In June I was served a domestic violence protection papers packet and removed from my house...... by the way I am 1000% innocent of these allegations I have never ever raised my hand to her or threatened her in any serious way. ( of course we have all jokeed around, all in fun. NEVER seriously ) And now I'm being garnished for child support for a child that I have been living with and supporting damn near her whole life. I've got a protection order against me and she's lied TWO other times and now I'm facing charges of breaking that protection order TWICE..... And she's turned our daughter against me, I haven't talked to my daughter and over six months now, and we used to be very very loving and very tight...... she was Daddy's Little Girl, and now I fear I've been demonized in her eyes from my EX talking g smack about me. What am I supposed to do about that ?
I have hired a lawyer but he is very very expensive So I guess my question would be, what should the lawyer fees be for this ? Because I don't think he wanted to take my case and he gave me some ungodly number thinking that I wouldn't be able to pay that so I got a personal loan and I paid it thinking that it's going to be worth it in the end.
I am very scared and terrified of what could happen to me if he fails defending me. I don't even know if I should be asking these questions in a public forum like this.
I'm just scared.

I'm in the same situation as well. I've had joint custody of my 3 kids for 2 years. During that time, she called the cops on me several times and also child protective services but nothing came of it. She somehow convinced my son to say i've been abusing him, so all 3 were taken away. I've never abused him or any of the kids. I've now had to do supervised visitation for the last 14 months, costing $1k a month. Not only that, the police are trying to interview me as well as child protective services. This is all public and now anyone that googles me or checks the records can see this. The best thing you can do is remain calm, clear headed and let your ex and the child dig themselves a hole. Don't talk to the police or child protective services because they are not on your side. With this kind of allegation, they already have their mind made up and want to prosecute you. They are good at twisting words and asking leading questions. Have confidence in the fact you haven't done anything. Also have a backup plan. If the police are coming at you hard, make sure you've consulted with a defense attorney and have somewhat of a gameplan. Whatever you do, don't settle in family court either. Take it all the way and show that you are not afraid and you are innocent. So far this has kept me out of trouble. During my visits, their mom has shown what kind of person she is by missing visits and encouraging the kids to be bad and say stuff about me. If you just stay the course, do what you're supposed to and show your character, it will make it much easier for her to be exposed. Good luck!

I'm in the same boat as you are in the judge on my end in North Carolina decided to overrule my continuance to pay my lawyer that way I can have him. She lied and said that I hit her and she attacked me like a wild animal I was sleeping and she come in and hit me in my eye busted it open and I told her I was going to take out papers after 7 years of marriage I know one time hit that girl but they believed her and I was surprised when we went to court. When she said he smacked me back handing me in my face like really what that hit me hard I was not expecting that.
Well I am. She has been on a campaign of alienation fur over a year now and to complicate things my son lies and embellishes like crazy. Thankfully this is documented greatly by credible non familial witnesses. It’s sad that I’m fxn to spend tens of thousands of dollars fighting this.
I was investigated three or four times by Probation, six or seven times by CPS, once by the FBI, and two or three times by the local police, for supposed physical and sexual abuse of our toddler daughter, and then others.
I had one of the messiest divorce cases in my county. I wanted equal time joint custody long before that was a known or commonly accepted option. She, the Ex-, used her considerable charms and tears to persuade the court counselor and a court appointed psychologist. She initially got everything she wanted, and I got almost nothing. I laid low. Almost immediately, she started using me, a supposed child abuser and child molester, as an almost daily baby sitter and several overnights. I eventually was able to prove an extensive pattern of lying by my Ex. Both the court appointed psychologist and court counselor totally flipped. I won total custody at a time when males had zero chance of having primary custody (tender years doctrine). She then kidnapped our toddler daughter and disappeared for nine months. After bribing her back, I finally obtained physical custody. The court bent over backwards protecting her rights, ordering the Probation Department to investigating me. The daughter had only two temper tantrums with me. Of course, one started just as the Probation officer rang the doorbell. After letting the officer in, I picked the toddler daughter up, asked her to take a nap, and promised we would make things right when she woke up. She woke up about 40 minutes later wanting lots of hugs, but could not remember why she was angry. After four meetings, the probation officers wrote that up as handling discipline with a firm hand.
My Ex reported me to CPS for child abuse multiple times and to the FBI as the Unibomber and maybe got neighbors to also make false reports. I always cooperated with investigators and always came out clean. I think during the CPS first visit, I was explaining the custody conflict history while the daughter was happily singing to herself a few feet away while swinging on the swing hanging from the living room ceiling. I asked her to put her swimming suit (bikini style) on which she happily did; not a scratch anywhere. The Ex-‘s baseless accusations only stopped when the judge threatened her with jail time for contempt. Knowing what I know now, I would probably still let the investigators in, but would insist on video recording everything for everybody’s safety.
I was assaulted annually for about a decade by the Ex-. She was of equal size, weight, and strength. She often used weapons (pogo stick, baseball bat.) I reported every incident to the police and to the courts. Several times the police took confirming photos of sizable fresh bruises. The DA and the court repeatedly did nothing. When our daughter was in the third grade, I asked her where she would like to live if something were to happen to me. Her two choices did not include Mom. I figured the best witness to her choices and reasoning would be the court counselor. The counselor apparent asked about her relations to her mother. She told about a fist fight she had with her mother on the school grounds several months earlier. At the next court hearing, the judge on his own initiative issued a permanent restraining order. Several months later, the Ex- came by, wanting to borrow some money. She had stopped payment on a prior check, so I refused to loan her any more money and went back to work. She kicked me in the genitals. I landed on the ground in a fetal position and was wiped out for nearly two weeks. The DA finally took action and the court issued an warrant, but dropped the warrant in less than a year. The Ex- was never inconvenienced for any of her antics at any point. The daughter has wanted nothing to do with her mother for over thirty years now, but gets along fine with all her other maternal relatives (and me.)
What happens when the wife claims the kids told her they were sexually abused by the father? The allegations were fabricated and 6+ authorities (police, child services, crisis hospital, custody evaluator) concluded they were unfounded. My children were put through 5 interviews and didn’t disclose any abuse and said they weren’t afraid of me. But the wife’s defense is “you can’t prove the kids didn’t say this”. It’s disgusting. I’m waiting for a trial date. I’ve done what you said and found at least one allegation was told 6 different ways. Severity was increased over time, etc.
Sorry to hear about your situation, it does sound messy. Hopefully, your attorney can prove all of the allegations unfounded for everyones sake.
