The "Hunt Or Be Hunted" melody appearance midway gave me goosebumps. What a wonderful detail; to intertwine a more subtle version of the melody of the last battle within the fabric of one in the first songs. In the Nilfgaardian Capital Palace, with foresight to the path ahead, with touches of the instruments tipical to Velen and the melody of the destiny fulfilling battle, even with one single vocal note hidden therein. Beautiful.

it is not a Nilfgardian Capital Palace. it is a royal palace in Vizima which is in occupied Temeria.

The melody itself doesn't belong to the battle, it's simply Ciri's theme. As it happens it appears in a lot of music involving Ciri in the quests. Similar to how Geralt's theme appears a lot in these scores.
