I wish Winchester had a bigger magazine capacity possibility...other than that great gun and caliber...im now going for buying the 350 Legend..over the 450 bushmaster ..I like the 350 round better
This looks like a nice round and I am thinking of getting a rifle, but let's be honest, it is not the fastest straight-walled hunting cartridge. Think about the 454, the 460 Magnum, th 500 magnum for starters. Sure they are revolver rounds, but Winchester did not claim the 350 was the fastest straight-walled AUTO-LOADING cartridge.
Can’t see the point of a cartridge that can’t drop a medium sized deer on the spot with a well placed chest shot. All these deer are running off, they should be DRT. The cartridge is anaemic to say the least.
Regardless, it’s as good as 30-30, with less kick, at 200 yards or less. There hasn’t yet been a cartridge invented that’s good at everything. In Illinois I’m glad to have this option, since I find the 450 Bushmaster to be a bit of a beast, and I prefer to hunt with a bolt action with a fairly light trigger rather than a lever action in .357 or .44 magnum. Not of least concern is that if I leave the 5round magazine for my Ruger American Ranch at home, the rifle becomes a de facto single shot rifle and therefore complies with Illinois law.
So glad this cartrdge came out. Perfect round for hunting here in Indiana. I think it will even double as my coyote gun out to about 150 yards. 👍💝👍

Promoting gun sales for a new cartridge that is required straight wall and some states but want to move it to other states where it's not required
