The reason why TON music is on the rise again is that it's just very good music - so many layers, so many nooks and corners, great voice, all band members talented through the roof... This type of music can't just die out. I heard in one interview with Johnny that at the end of his life when Peter was sober, he was really motivated to create new music, and Johnny said he still thinks that it might have been the best TON album cause Peter was that brilliant. And that he had to compromise one way or another and couldn't show his true potential... Hearing that, it makes me sad even more... And I still wonder what kind of albums would have come our way. But I guess as Kenny says you have to live in NOW. So basically I am just very thankful that I can actually listen to whatever TON music there is...

I made the mistake of listening to much of their music during bad times in my life, now I have a hard time listening to them without it bringing much of those emotions back. I get depressed listening to them because the sounds are so powerful it elicits a powerful emotional response. I love this band dearly. I love Carnivore too. Peter was a musical genius to me.

Kenny is such an under rated guitar legand and was screaming in Metal BEFORE it became the thing to do. 🤘💚

A lot of peoples favourite Type O Negative record is either “Bloody Kisses” or “October Rust” but mine is by far “World Coming Down”. That album just speaks to me big time & the recording process & the sound/mix is absolutely killer to me, it was a wall of complete doom/thick sounding imo. Also Type O was “Roadrunner Records” first band to achieve gold/platinum status & “October Rust” achieved gold status as well 🤘 Also “Roadrunner Records” use to be called “Roadracer Records” & my “Slow Deep & Hard” cd has the name “Roadracer Records” on it. Take care everyone 🤘 & Cheers 🍻 from 🇨🇦

    Peter is sorely missed!
AND NOTHING manages to fill that space, unique and SO AUTHENTIC.
Doing what is REALLY on your mind these days is increasingly rare. Very rare. Every human being being carried away by appearances, by acceptance, what others will think. Everything was very planned. Everything is very much linked to one another.

    Peter faz muita falta!

I miss Type O so much! I was very fortunate to see Type O live a number of times. My first time seeing Type O was in 1997 at the old “Embassy Hotel” in London,Ontario,Canada on their “October Rust” tour which was a sh*t hole dive bar that held only 300 people & it was so a kick ass & in your face show! Then I seen Type O like 5 times at “Harpos” in Detroit which was one of their favourite venues to play + i seen “Carnivore” at “Harpos” in Detroit in around 1994/95 which was super super rare because Carnivore didn’t really tour outside of New York & what a kick ass gig!! I also seen Type O in Detroit at the “State Theater” on a co-headlining gig with “Cradle Of Filth”, amazing gig as well. I was also at Type O’s last ever live show which was at “Harpos” in Detroit & Peter was sober & getting back to being healthy but we sadly lost Peter Ratajczyk Steele on April.14.2010. Cheers from Windsor,Ontario,Canada 🇨🇦 🤘

TON are the Grateful Dead of metal.

Reading comments under TON related interviews is the most boring thing I did this year, and the possible activities were limited obviously. It is selfish to mourn the dead, you know?
