Twisted Lily is the worst site to buy fragrances on. They will scam you and then try to make you jump through months worth of hoops just to get a refund.

I picked up Guaiac Wood after your video (even though you said not to blind buy!). I love all things vanilla and wood and Guaiac Wood was right up my alley. Would love to try more from MM especially a vanilla!
I blind bought too because it was going out of production and her descriptions drive me to make reckless decisions. I like it, but it is spicier and stronger than what I normally go for… it has character for sure!

Yes! So happy you loved Dear Polly- that was my top pick as well. I was very shocked, in the opening I thought it was raspberry (definitely something juicy). Then that tea 🫖🤤 so good. I do think this one is for a cool girl for some reason which has stopped me from getting a full bottle. I’m not that cool 😂 but it definitely suits you. I definitely picked up different mangos in Mango Skin as well as that civet- which once again stopped me from getting a bottle. Poets of Berlin would be my bottle if it weren’t for the 3 mins of agony in the opening 😩 so glad you didn’t get it on your skin. Good luck to all the entries for Note Vanille 📜🖋. Fleur Burlesque is amazing! It's so classy and sexy at a same time. When I was a litle girl in our garden we had a gardenias so smelling this scent brought me back in my childhood, so for me is evocative but its blend is giving me quite contemporary, modern sexy goddes vibe 💃

I'm tempted to blind buy The Poets of Berlin after hearing you, The Perfume Guy, and Demi Rawling talk about it. The Perfume Guy said that it gets sweeter in the heat while you recommend it for the fall and early spring makes me think that it can be worn year round.

I’ll admit I haven’t tried anything from this house but it’s been on my radar. Dear Polly sounds lovely. I know exactly what you mean about the raunchiness - one of my longtime loves Musc Ravageur gives me that type of vibe. Second, I JUST ordered note vanille last week from micallef directly as my birthday present to me! Oh well. I’m going to have to try dear Polly. I’m really loving wulong cha from Nishane, also a tea scent. Previously I avoided tea scents. I got it as an extra from twisted lily last year and it’s so good. Moon carnival is a million times better than Love Tuberose! So agree with you. It’s still a tiny bit too gourmand for me to wear. Opus Kore is my favorite 😂 mango skin is almost amazing but that sour rot smell is so bad. Fleur burlesque is so beautiful, it’s my style. I really want to try dear Polly now!
I’m super late to this but I just found your channel and am binging your videos which I recover from my Covid booster. A while back I was looking for samples on Twisted Lily and tried Do Not Disturb on a whim - so the notes listed on Fragrantica do not match what is listed on the Vilhelm or Twisted Lily sites! I don’t know what’s up with that or what is correct. All I know is, this fragrance is unique and addicting. It’s not overly sweet for me. I definitely want a 50ml and more samples from the brand.
I’ve been so intrigued by this brand. I have a sample set but it didn’t have Moon Carnival which I was looking for BUT I, so impressed by how these fragrances transform on my skin! - even those with notes I don’t prefer. Thank you for sharing that Twisted Lily sells samples…😍. I agree Dear Polly is beautiful and Mango Skin is quite sexy on my skin. Needless to say Vilhelm has my full attention. Great review
Love this video! Have you tried Trussardi Fiori Chiari? It smells very close to the Poet of Berlin and you can get it for less than 100 EUR at certain online perfume stores while PoB is still at the more expensive side. 😀 the bottle is stunning too. 😍

First of all I love twisted lily so much so congrats!! I’m a sampling maniac this year - it’s so fun and the sprayers make such a difference!!
Second, I JUST ordered note vanille last week from micallef directly as my birthday present to me! Oh well.
I’m going to have to try dear Polly. I’m really loving wulong cha from Nishane, also a tea scent. Previously I avoided tea scents. I got it as an extra from twisted lily last year and it’s so good.

Great video Anne. I sent away for a travel size of Dear Polly based on your recommendation, and it was love at first sniff. I will definitely be buying an F.B. at some point in the future. I had small samples of Poets of Berlin, Mango Skin and Fleur Burlesque. While they are all nice, I have to say that Dear Polly appeals to me the most. Thank you!

Moon carnival is a million times better than Love Tuberose! So agree with you. It’s still a tiny bit too gourmand for me to wear.
Opus Kore is my favorite 😂 mango skin is almost amazing but that sour rot smell is so bad. Fleur burlesque is so beautiful, it’s my style.

I’m super late to this but I just found your channel and am binging your videos which I recover from my Covid booster. A while back I was looking for samples on Twisted Lily and tried Do Not Disturb on a whim - so the notes listed on Fragrantica do not match what is listed on the Vilhelm or Twisted Lily sites! I don’t know what’s up with that or what is correct. All I know is, this fragrance is unique and addicting. It’s not overly sweet for me. I definitely want a 50ml and more samples from the brand.

I’ve been so intrigued by this brand. I have a sample set but it didn’t have Moon Carnival which I was looking for BUT I, so impressed by how these fragrances transform on my skin! - even those with notes I don’t prefer. Thank you for sharing that Twisted Lily sells samples…😍. I agree Dear Polly is beautiful and Mango Skin is quite sexy on my skin. Needless to say Vilhelm has my full attention. Great review

Love this video! Have you tried Trussardi Fiori Chiari? It smells very close to the Poet of Berlin and you can get it for less than 100 EUR at certain online perfume stores while PoB is still at the more expensive side. 😀 the bottle is stunning too. 😍

Great review! I got Mango Skin- on me I don’t get the over ripe mango and I love it. It last a long time too. I really want to try Moon Carnival so bad. How is the projection, longevity and silage?
Awe I’m jealous! 😝 Moon Carnival is good! It’s not “beast mode” but it also performs better than “moderate,” I think you’ll be happy with it! I find it performs better than Mango Skin too
