- Need For Speed: Rivals PC 720p HD maximum heat level police pursuit run gameplay with keyboard. I manage to accumulate 600,000 speed points in this run. I'm using the almost stock 2014 Porsche Cayman S (981) in this run. It seems that the maximum multiplyer and heat level is at 10 but the pre-alpha stage has 11. But starting from heat level 8, you start facing the mighty Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-SV , Mclaren F1 LM, Bugatti Veyron SuperSport, Koenigsegg Agera R and Hennessey Venom GT Cop cars! That's where it gets intense, and they start shock ram and Electrostatic Field and EMP you.
This proofs that you don't really need to a fast car or lots of upgrades to survive heat level 10. You have to be smart and choose the right pursuit tech. And it's obvious Turbo and Jammer is the right pursuit tech for you to survive high heat level police chases. However once you fully upgraded your cars, or have Tier 3/4 cars, you can easily survive heat level 10.

• Need For Speed Rivals PC
Performance parts on the Cayman S are:
Level 4 Durability and Level 1 Acceleration upgrade.
Pursuit Techs are level 1 Turbo and level 1 Jammer.
Tips on how to reach heat level 10.
First you need to get to heat level 10 quickly. The best way is to play Interceptor events, you can finish the event quickly using Turbo after the cop faced the wrong direction. Keep repeating until it's very difficult to escape at high heat levels. And then start heading towards the Canyon.
Tips on how to survive:
The main killer in these high heat level pursuits are spikes strips, both on roadblocks and aerial spikes from the helicopter. If any of your tires got hit, it slows you down so much that you get surrounded very quickly and it's not a good sign. Once any of the cop cars hit you, you can't use Turbo and eventually they bust you. Therefore use Jammers to counter the spikes. If you still get hit, use Turbo or all your Nitrous to avoid being surrounded until you could re-inflate your tires. Keep drifting even the slightest corner to make sure your nitrous is always available when you need it. And keep slamming and ramming the cops, preferably at the rear so you won't take damage, it will give you the nitrous you need.
Jammer usage:
If you have level 4 Jammer, you don't have to worry about the usage. But if you are at level 1 like mine, use Jammer only if you get EMP targetted or you can't avoid the roadblock spike strips. If you can weave through the spike strip roadblocks, then don't use Jammer. The cops will hit their own spikes slowing down and eventually will wreck themselves, and you can escape! If you use Jammer unnecessary, you will allow the cops to have a spike strips free path, and you won't have any Jammer left when you need it.
Turbo usage:
You don't have to worry with level 4 Turbo. Use Turbo only to prevent from being surrounded. Turbo one amazing emergency escape plan, if you can use it. You this escape tactic plan with Turbo, by causing the Cops to stop or make a U-turn, Turbo away quickly will give you plenty of room to breathe and even escape. But remember, you can't use Turbo if you keep taking damage.

Undercover in 2008 had the best chatter ever. The cops would freak when you tore through the high school, the helicopter pilot would comment on the mess you'd make as you tore through a construction site. The chatter was actually pretty funny at times.
The cops in this one is serious and experienced, they're trained to take out these racers,they aren't normal cops on the streets so they won't freak out or lose focused, they just comeback harder

@@CantRead1 MW 2005/Carbon and Rivals tbh. They're the most trained and deadly cops in the franchise as what I have viewed.
MW 2005 only uses Rhinos in order to stop you and roadblocks full of spike strips, even Cross himself joins the pursuit. In Rivals, Heat Levels 8 - 10 will definitely be your unlucky day because cops will be driving hypercars such as the Veyron, the Venom GT, or the Agera with deadly pursuit tech equipped and they're really hard to outrun. Hell, they can even spawn 2 helicopters in a single pursuit whilst they are dropping spike strips above you.
The feeling of knowing that you can lose everything when you are at Heat 10 is the most stressful thing u can experiment in a NFS game

There is this one pursuit track in rivals that is actually a reference to one of the parts in one of the nfs mw pursuit themes
@@ralphlorenzperolino3054 They don't box you in like in MW2005 but they have more weaponry. In MW, as soon as you slowed, you were done for. They could box you against the barrier and bust you in seconds.

Ya. The shockwave is a lot better because when cops get close behind you, you can use it and it will knock them backwards. Don't use if your racing someone and their in front of you though cause then it will boost them

SHWAV is OP at times. Especially at LVL 4 since you can also send spike strips flying with it as well.
The difference is in real life you can't auto-repair your car in a pursuit, but police can use all that kind of tech to stop you.
True especially that quick but by using Heavy Reinforced body you can survive however it will also be limited so you will need to outrun the cops go into hiding

Pro tip: Dont bother with the jammer. Use the ESF instead. Not only does it do the same shit the jammer does but you can also use it to ram some poor fucker into the wall.
thanks for the pro tip, because I am scared that I will get busted and loose all my sp but I have completed the cop career as an enforcer and have only been wrecked once for no reason, I was using an aventador chasing a veneno and he only needed one more hit to get busted and so did I to get wrecked but out of no where a marrusia b2 or a chevy zl1 police car rams me in the rear and we are both police!? Really should not have happened but AI's need to evolve. sometimes I feel like esf'ing a police car when I am one.

Have you noticed that when playing the cop - the AI racers never use nitro when you chase them in freeride mode (as in: not in a race/interception/hot pursuit)? Thats a major issue that keeps me from enjoying playing as the cops. Also - wheres the challenge? Fastest racer car is the huayra (with all upgrades) with a top speed of 10... police veyron runs 14. Need i say more? Cops have it easy overall - no need for SP, faster cars than racers all around the board. The only thing that sucks about em is the siren howling... hate that sound when it runs for an hour straight when im trying to get 2 million SP in one go (my record is 1.424.000 with the aventador).
yeah you can see the nitrous with the blue transparent flame. my record is 300,000 with the aventador because I spend all my speed points. For me the aventador is the best pursuit car it handles great, its acceleration in this game is 9.6 I think which is faster than a veyron which is the second best pursuit car, its durability is 10 it has a decent top speed for a supercar, its just an all round police car. The veyron is great but considering its power its acceleration isnt great its top speed 258 is good it handles slightly better than an aventador at high speed but the aventador feels like it has more power though it has more than 400hp less and its loud so you get the feel, the veyrons quiet so it dosent feel like the 1200hp car everyone knows and because of that it dosent feel like suited for a police car.
but in this game also the porsche carrera gt is also a great pursuit car its an all round pursuit car but the aventador does everything it does but better. The porsche 911 gt3 4.0 in this game is to fast!!! It outran my porsche carrera gt several times even when exceeding 190mph. and when I was chasing a racer with the carrera a police 911 gt3 flew right past me. but the ferrari f12 always acts clever when chasing it, its fast but its very sly and can pull of some amazing tricks. The enzo is faster but not too fast for a highspeed pursuit, I have busted it many times but the pagani is slower than I thought and I have busted it too many times. for me the 2 fastest racers when I am pursuing them are the veneno and the p1 but sometimes the veneno is faster than the p1 and is hard to bust, if you have any car faster than an aventador the p1 is really easy. the 918 is as fast as any car you pursue it with.
Well I would use the ESF over the Jammer if the ESF could protect your car from spike strips which cannot, as a result so I like to stick with the Jammer most of the time.

NFS RIVALS is best known for its high risk high reward mechanic as a driver. I somehow ever got 652829 SP in a single run and on max WANTED level.

I honestly think that ESF and shockave are best for self defense. ESF counters EMPs and stun mines if used properly. The shockwave can get you out of being surrounded, but I personally use it to crash the cops and pull a large gap from them
I agree with you ESF And SW are the best weapons for cop chases i always use them for cops but for racing i choose turbo and emp

Personally switched from ESF/SHWAV to ESF/MINE. Mines are extremely useful with higher heat levels since the cops in this game tend to drive close together. If you use this to your advantage. You can wipe out 5 cops with a single mine. Lol.
I hate how you can be sitting on the side of the road or driving slowly and the cops will still chase you.

Shock wave and turbo are my play style. Slow down on a straight away, get em bunched behind you and hit shock and turbo shortly after. Nos after turbo finishes. Almost always a getaway. Anyways. Most ive got in one setting was 195k this is insane. Props!

I remember when I first started playing. I was in my mustang and I was just driving around having some fun. I casually got to 10 heat. AND GOT WREAKED WITH 100,000 SCORE.
Honestly, at such early stages of the game, it is preferable not to allow Heat Level to exceed 5. Not until with proper upgrades at least.
The Mustang sucks anyway. Should’ve used the Cayman if you were chasing SP early on in the game. I managed max heat with the Cayman thanks to its much higher agility.

Damn this was the car I only used way back in the day. Was fun messing with cops thinking I was a scrub player with the starter car. It handles so damn nicely out of all the cars.
After playing so much of Need for Speed Heat, I probably should go back to Rivals for the most amount of thrills.

Heat lvl 10 is almost impossible to get rid off, whenever i am escaping i get located but i cant see them

Well I was 10 when I played it and I thought ricing Lambos and Chev's was cool then. I have changed. The original NFS for PS1 was tough. It had simulation physics.
@@Schmodin blavk edition makes it a bit harder and if you have milestones.. I wanted to beat all tge records on the rap sheet, the pursuit for that was hard.
nfsmw was easy. you literally just had to go to that one highway that had the stadium. go around the highway until you finish your milestones and then go into the stadium for the 2 pursuit breakers literally next to each other. then go to the hiding spot that is also in the stadium lol
Ooof worst feeling is when a cop hits you with Shock ram, then ESF with 207.341 sp and you know your screwed unless they screw up.
I scored a 1.440.000 SP in a single run with a Lamborghini Veneno

A good way to grind SP in this game is to find a a police then go to a gas station by a hideout then start using pursuit gadgets on police and when your low health go in the gas station and always stay near the gas station

I've done this but I prefer shockwave over jammer, I just like the repelling of the cars. Also, I know a few routes that mess w the police ai and makes it a near guarantee getaway (they don't handle sudden road changes well)

11:00 When you start the time trial after the Police Cops found you while you're at the highest heat, they participate in time trial just so to slow and stop your progress as well as chasing you and using their techs before you finish your time trial and escape from pursuit.

Bullshit! When I was escaping the cops in heat 10, I couldn't breathe for 5 seconds without having a cop locking on to me with an EMP blast.

Someone made a fix so NFS Rivals can run at 60 fps without doubling the game speed.
I use one of the hiding spots in the top of map and then the cop pushed me into the tree I got stuck and I got busted cuz I couldnt move because I was in the top of it
jus got the game today and i turned the ps4 ofd after off a 20-minute pursuit on my vanquish with 400k sp. the stress was fucking real. i was literally 0.1m to a safehouse and a cop just fucking shows up. i miss nfsmw and jump to safehouse :(
