Thanks Pete! You deserve 100k subs, that's how good you are in your reviews. Would love to try this on my DJI Spark with no wires to worry about because it's a wifi drone. Maybe they will have a Father's Day sale who knows lol :)
Hey bro!! Thanks I appreciate it. There is a sister goggles by the same maker called magimask. moviemask.io/products/magimask Slightly cheaper but same mask! It works fine on wifi only drones so long as the link is good. The Spark should be a perfect drone for the goggles. 👍🍺🔥
Amazing view Pete. I have the first model of those goggles and I really enjoy them with my DJI Mavic mini. TDR send them to me. I really like them. I use them all the times. Awesome location as well. 👍🙏👍👍👍
Nice!! Yes, these are really enjoyable. Makes any drone into an FPV drone! I think DJI was going to make the googles v2 and goggles 2 compatible with the mavic and mini but the mask makes it cheaper and easier to use and you can watch movies or whatever on them. Good stuff!
Having a week ago ordered the SJRC F22s drone I also watched a video about it and it linked to a site selling this drone mask2......after watching the vid for a minute or two it was a must have item, so I ordered it and it came yesterday.......about A$200, but it has so many other uses like watching videos etc etc....... the list is endless. I've always had the insane desire to go flying but the nearest I got was a Cessna 172 electric model plane and that was not a success due to not being in the pilot seat like you would be with a car etc, so it ended up in a tree but got down when the wind blew..........hmmmmmm, maybe the camera on the drone could be "persuaded" to fit on the model plane and kill two birds with one stone.....that would be awesome, a real plane flying experience without the crash and burn scenario. In the meantime, I'm eagerly waiting for my drone to arrive, then after a bit of flying experience it's off to the Dandenongs to explore the hills and Emerald Park lake with Puffing Billy as well.
Can you tell me which lightening cable you used on your Potensic controller to smartphone? I have an android phone, does it take a different cord? Thank you .. Mike
Hi, thx 4 the review. I wouldn't use bt headset and nothing that uses any radio. Bt increases interference with the wifi of the controller. I turn off all radios on my smartwatch as well.
The optics are really good on these but they do cost quite a lot. Personal big screen on your face for whatever you watch on your phone and also for fpv. If you own a dji mini or mavic, I would think it would still be a good buy since there is no glitch in the video transmission so the experience will be really nice. I was actually sold just from watching some media. Great for kids on a long trip.
I’ve really enjoyed my Atom but for some reason it gets horrible range when using my IPhone, switched to my work phone (Galaxy) and it works amazing. I tried using a Type c to Type c cable and I can’t get the video to pass through to my Drone Mask but it works fine with the Potensic grey cable. Any advice on which type c cable to order? Not sure which cable I need, my phone is a Samsung Galaxy A51. I also tried the cable with my Android tablet ( type c cable) and it didn’t work.
These are nice, but yeah $179.99, basically $200 after tax/shipping 😂 No thanks. I found the "MagiMask" which is virtually the same mask from the same company just rebranded for 60 bucks.. Much more realistic price.
Works the same as DroneMask1 that I have except it has the side access finger holes. I don't see anything else that was significantly improved. I like them but they are over priced in my opinion.
Nice drone mask for a gps video drone! and one plot and a viewer on the line can easily enjoy fpv at the same time. Good review! 👍👍👍
Thanks Bro!! I just enjoyed a James Bond movie on prime video on it and it is so good for watching movies too :)
I’ve really enjoyed my mask with the DJI mini it is relaxing and immersive, they use quality optics 👍👍
Oh, you have one of these? They are awesome! Makes everything you watch so clear. The DJI Mini would be the perfect drone for this :)
@@RCEscape I have the 1st generation model and it has been great 👍

Nice! FPV everything :)

Another great review Pete
Thanks for sharing 😊
I like the fact that you can wear glasses with them
Thanks! The optics on it makes it very clear and enjoyable. Of course the higher resolution the phone the better :)

Excellent review of features. Liked + subscribed.
Very nice review Pete, I have a pair of goggles that are similar to these.
Thanks!
I've not experienced one of these till now and I like it a lot! Makes all the old wifi fpv drones new again sort of :)

I believe the drone mask 2 comes with the USB c extension cable.
This could also be used with vtx to phone module for general fpv

Not while you’re flying but for entertainment like watching a video :)
Thanks Pete! I have a pair of goggles at less than 1/10 of this one; but of course is not near as good.

Same here. My after market cable will not work so I had to find an extension but still use the potensic cable. Even the dji cables don't work.
@@RCEscape Ha I did the exact Same thing with my Mini 2 cable and same thing. Do you have a link to the extension you used?
Found it! amzn.to/3OxCt7U

Could you share the link of MagiMask ? regards
@@cesarrodriguez175 I would, but I found it on Ebay. Don't see any available at the moment. Guess I got lucky
I have a sg 906 max2 drone what cable do i need to connect remote and phone for virtual reality
So the goggles connects to your phone so depends on your phone. It comes with the cables.

Yes I agree!
Does the dji fpv drone not send a video signal to the phone?
I don't believe it does. You will have to connect the goggles to the phone.
Are you in Nevada?
Not quite, but close. Apple Valley CA. Just a hop and a skip to Nevada :)
