This was one of the most brilliantly written and acted on screen romances I've ever seen. It was perfectly paced and beautifully performed. I can think of only one other 'slow burner' that worked this well and that's "Josh and Donna" from "The West Wing". I just wish ABC could have found a way to convince Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic to make either a season 9 or a one off movie to resolve the end of season 8. In fact I'd go so far as to say this was THE best 'police procedural' show of this century so far. Within that genre only CSI (the original Las Vegas show plus Miami) and the original NCIS have come close to getting me so invested in the stories and characters.
I'd have to agree with you, the original cast for NCIS was amazing beyond belief, the chemistry with every character was brilliant. And with CSI Las Vegas, also incredible. To be honest, I think I enjoyed NCIS a bit more though.

It lasted for the entire run of the series. And Melora Hardin, I believe, played her from start to finish. Granted that she wasn't a regular, but the character appeared in flashbacks and side deals almost every season, and she played prominently in the the series closer.

This montage was amazing, I'm not much of a watch show. I'm more of a fan of readings. But castle was a series that I liked very much. Too bad last season was much lower than the previous ones. very annoying was also to know that the actors who played the protagonists actually hated each other. Whether it's really true or not I don't know, but the chemistry of both was incredible. Castle as well as party of five and Dawson's Creek are part of my favorite series
I love their relationship and I love the show so much. However, I wish they never added that last scene and it was a tragic love story. Would’ve been fitting for their story.

Season 8 feels like a different entity. From rest. Of seasons. The writing felt very wrong to me. Castle had a quite a lot of innuendos earlier it lacked in season 8 or were very poorly timed. The romantic scenes felt rushed.and lets gets this done .. Till season 7 they were just enough and perfectly timed . Season. 1-7 everything felt smoothly sailed natural season 8 didn't do justice
