Also, I am so grateful for Berean Bible Church and the teachings that are based on the whole Bible (OT explains NT and vice versa). I came upon you 2-3 weeks ago and it's so good to hear the correct interpretation of the scriptures- especially about second coming of Jesus Christ, "rapture ", heaven and earth, last days etc. "My" church every Sunday is preaching and singing about literal (physical) second coming of Jesus Christ and heaven and earth that they are waiting for. Some people are waiting &believing in a "rapture ". I'm pretty sure I'm the only preterist there.
They will be waiting for a while like I used to. Preterism makes such sense of all those years of nonsense when I listened to them. In a few years or so they will wonder how they got it so wrong. Again. Like I used to.

He comes again to reward the promise of eternal life to those who accepted the work of His first coming. The atonement for sin in the OT goat sacrifices was a 2 goat, 2 part process. Lev 16, symbolic of its fulfillment in Christ later.

How can Matthew 24 be fulfilled in 70 AD? How do you explain the rest of the chapter, the tribulation and the return of Christ coming on the clouds, gathering His elect? This chapter can only be talking about the end of the world, not merely the end of the city of jeruselum.

About "flat earth", draining water spins clockwise or counterclockwise base on the position on each side of the equator. And on the equator it drains without spinning. This proves north and south poles

God loves flat earth discussions, amazing how Hubble bid bang explains the first verses, even gives a definition of a point. Hevens and earth, is actually the Spiritual and the natural. And the definition of a point. A location with out shape or volume. Bible is cool too. Always new explains old not the other way around.

Yes, the remnant were those that had been under the old covenant that were brought into the new covenant because they had faith.
Most of Israel did not join in the new covenant, only a remnant did.
People that were never under the old covenant simply join the body of Christ as believers.
After the 70AD destruction of Israel there can be no more remnant, the remnant had already joined and the rest were destroyed.

Passed away does not mean destroyed. It means moved beyond. When a student starts college, high school has passed away. It's still there, but the student moved past.
In his vision, John moved past/beyond the old heaven and earth. He came upon the new heaven and earth.
We are on the old earth. It's still here. The new heaven and earth exist in an alternative reality. The saved in their spiritual born again bodies live there.
I think they can manifest as physical and move between the old and new earth.

Is it possible that there were 2 sets of prophecies? One for 70AD, and the other for the end times of Revelation, when only a remnant of the Jews will love G-D and honor the 10 Commandments? Then the Israel in the New Testament will be the grafted on branches.
Isaiah 2:2 says that " all nations shall flow to it," referring to the Mountain of the Lord, Since the context of the presence of the Mountain of the Lord is geographically with Jerusalem and Judah in the latter days, the time refers to Christ's 1st Coming. Then the " all the nation's shall flow to it," has to refer to a future time, as they have not yet. For ALL nations to flow towards Him, requires a deep shift or change, so that each would be endowed with a higher consciousness to recognize Christ's teachings and Divinity. This change can start over millenia, but culminate with Christ's 2nd Coming.

Again I like the preterisim teaching but I don’t believe the earth is flat. Scientists are able to predict meteor showers( just saw one a couple weeks back) with decent precision. How can anyone explain that, other than there are small rocks floating through space that hit our atmosphere…

The earth us NOT flat. Just get a telescooe with an equatorial mount and you'll find out REAL fast that the earth isn't flat.
Then there's the motion of the sun, moon and stars that dont even come close to motion of the flat earth model.
None of the distances in the southern hemisphere work on the flat earth map. Flight times alone will blow away the idocracy of that map.
And the centrifugal force of a 180 pound man at the equator moving at 1000 mph is a whopping one half pound, ehich is directky oppaite the force of gravity, so you can't feel it AT ALL.
You don't feel speed, you feel accelleration. Do you FEEL like your moving at 500 mph on an airplane? Of course not.
The Bible does not teach a flat earth any more than it teaches a sqaure earth because it metnions the 4 corners of the earth.
The earth is flat and stationary as the Bible clearly states, and we are under a firmament. The same constellations Adam and Eve saw we see today.

I have no idea whether the earth is flat or a globe and neither do you because the Bible does not tell us. Those who insist the world is a globe have put their faith in the teaching of man, i.e science over what the the Word of God because there is nothing in Scripture that supports the idea we live on a globe.

The Matthew 24:29 language matches Revelation 6:12-13 in its description of the phenomena connected with the 6th seal which will be the signs of Christ's second coming to gather the elect.
Revelation 12:4 is not a future event but rather a retrospective reference to the astronomical conjunction of Jupiter and Regulus in Virgo which occurred that symbolically heralded Christ's virgin birth, the attempt on his life as an infant by the agents of Satan, and Satan's continued efforts to destroy the remnant of the true Christian church as they fled to far-off places to escape the tyranny of persecution beyond the reach of Antichrist.

QUESTION--Is revelation still unfulfilled?
A very appropriate question, considering that this pastor asserts that all prophecy was fulfilled at the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. Revelation is not _completely_ fulfilled. Although the first beast / Antichrist has enjoyed its first tyrannical reign, killing tens of millions of Christians before it received the mortal wound to its political influence which deprived it of its power to continue doing so for the time being, the second beast has not yet mandated the worship of the image of the first beast, Christ has not returned to gather the saints at his second coming, and the wrath of God has not been poured out on the earth.

For people that don't study their Bible it's written all over the place where they're at. But most of them are heading to Israel and have been since 1917!
The overall message about the last days being about the destruction of Jerusalem is correct. But your Calvanism is wrong. God doesn't pick and choose who believe in Him. God has issued the call because of His grace to ALL people. It is our choice to answer that call. The elect are those who have answered the call by being immersed into His Son's sacrifice (Acts 17:18). The elect are defined as those who made the choice to be in Christ. The party of the first part - God - made the offer, & the party of the 2nd part accepted the offer; therefore they who accept the offer are the elect of God. Obeying His command to be immersed (baptized) into Christ is not a work. It is the definition of belief, as you only obey the command if you believe Him. If you do not believe then you will not obey; therefor obedience, performance, action is the result of belief. You changed the wording right there David, when you said it flowed into it and the scripture you were quoting said peoples shall flow to it not into it. See what Lord Jesus warned us about people that add or subtract from his words and that is why you should not add or subtract the wording, because it changes the meaning of the verse and that is why you should be getting it from the KJV Bible. Lord Jesus is not a God of confusion. You don't understand, there is still descendants to the original descendants of Israel and those will be saved, because that is the ones in our day that took this long to have them born and saved, so just know his word is not done with Israel till the end of all his plan of the world to end the way he is going to end it.

The latter days (last days) were the last days of the old covenant. The destruction of that age, the latter days to those listening to Jesus, the destruction of the temple, no more sacrifices, no more law, no Jerusalem all over in 70 AD. He was done with national Israel, not the true Israel. Dispensationalism is a lie.

Donna, look into preterism - not what people say about it, look into it for yourself. The rapture in Thessalonians is about those who were dead in the time of those Thessalonians who read the letter that Paul wrote to THEM. They were worried their dead loved ones had died before Jesus came back. (They were clearly expecting Jesus to come back in their lifetime and he did as he promised them all he would, in their generation before they had all died, etc) All the dead in Christ were raised at Jesus' coming- the salvation they were waiting for. That occurred in 70 ad. The Thessalonians thought they had to be alive when Jesus returned or they missed out and Paul was correcting this.
Believers today when they biologically die are ushered into the presence of God - alive. No sheol, no hades today for believers who biologically die, It was not so until the second coming of Jesus on the clouds (judgment) of the OC.@@donnaweiss3268
The bible was not written to you. Yes we can learn from it, but it had an ORIGINAL audience. Paul makes it very clear there is no more distinction between Jew or gentile under the new covenant. The end was to happen soon, not millennia away.

YHWH is Sovereign. He can do anything. He promised Abraham Isaac and Jacob that he would preserve a remnant of Israel to carry out his purpose. Why would he not preserve a true bloodline of Israel from generation to generation.
Yeshua Ha'Mashiach (Jesus, the Anointed One) had to come as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of Israel, to call them back to His purpose. (Jesus: I am not come but for the lost sheep of Israel).
Jesus fulfilled his purpose and left his disciples with the message of salvation for the Jews (Israelites). The remnant will be back on track to carry out YHWH's plan. That is to teach the nations about the true God and His Laws.
Many people believe in Jesus but reject God's Laws and commandments. The Remnant will rise up in the last days to declare the laws of God to the world, through the Ruach Hakodesh (the Holy Spirit). So that whosoever will may come. YHWH's plan has never changed.
Thank God im not a full preterist. Id have no hope at all, but i can say that the earth surely isnt a ball or anything NASA has told us. People just cant think clearly... On both issues.
