    Great video, making this trip in august. I have been watching everything I can find on it. What kind of fuel efficiency did you get and how much fuel did you use? What were the best areas to fish from the fort, south, west, north? Grateful for any nuggets

      Hey, hope you have a great safe trip! We used a little over 100 gallons the entire trip I get approximately 3MPG, I would say North was the best but honestly every direction is like jurassic Park. It’s amazing fishing out there. Be sure to bring plenty water & ice.

    Been a subscriber for a minute awesome video. Me and my 12 year old son camped at the DT fort Jefferson the 4th of July same campsite as you and your friend. It's an amazing place and video and pictures do not do it justice. Thanks for sharing looking forward to seeing the other videos. Fyi uncrustables pb&j were a staple while camping probably the best thing I packed.

    Bro that water looked like an unreal color!! And I got a question for you, what was it like to be just laying out there knowing that you are that far from civilization and just watching the stars and all the beauty that they behold?! I bet that felt sooooooo damn good just to get out there and absolutely let your mind body and soul just rest and be at ease!! And I didn’t realize that you could camp out there? I absolutely CANT WAIT till the next video big man!!

    I looked about a year ago and it was sold out to camp there, then timing the weather, seemed impossible. How did you do it? Would love to see a video on how you packed, prepared, extra gas. What time of year, all the details. I saw one video a guy went and slept on his boat, if you dont need reservations then that could be an option...

    Do you have to Moore your boat somewhere once you unload out do they have other docks to tie up at night?

    • @FishingWithSalty
      @FishingWithSalty  Рік тому +1

      Yes, if it’s small right up against the shore like I did, or larger boats can Moore in water, There are no docks to tie up to at night. The docks are only allowed to be used to load and unload with a maximum of two hour time limit.
