I'm autistic and when i get stressed or upset i watch videos of people digging for antiques. I just found your channel and it's really calming to watch.
Dude!!! Just blew my mind. I basically live in the woods more than home and I’ve never thought about doing this!! Love the action man. So exciting. Great content.
I am so pleased to see you using appropriate tools in your digging and not big shovels. You have so many amazing finds from this Pit that it's just crazy.
I just found your channel by watching you on PaleoCris. YES I also subscribed! I'm getting long in the tooth and can't get out and do stuff like that anymore. You guys make me feel as if I'm right there with you digging and exploring. You make an OLD GUY'S day a lot brighter... Thank you! 😁👍👌👊🇺🇸
Incredible my friend!! Fellow arrowhead hunters/diggers making it look easy!! Nothing like pinging up on an arrowhead while shaving those sandy walls!! Gave u a sub!! ATB!! 👍
On my grandfathers farm in Cottandale, Fl there are hundreds and hundreds of arrowheads pottery and spear heads all in the clay.. I have at least over a hundred perfect and almost perfect arrowheads I picked out of there back in the early 80s..
Jesus is King I will pay you to come look, serious lol

Dude. You're finding killer pieces at that site, do you know what types you are finding or the age/anything about them or are you digging them just for the rush of finding them?
Just found your channel and I'm hooked. Binge watching your videos now. I live in central FL and I would love to find some arrow heads. I've found a Hundreds of sharks teeth before but never any heads
It is odd all the points come out half end first!!. The point with the blister holes was subjected to a lot of heat at some time, maybe left in the game when the cooked it. New England field walker myself.
Are you able to just keep the arrowheads you find? I thought with artifacts they had to be left undisturbed or turned over to some group or facility. Am I misinformed?
If the digging is on public land, it's illegal looting. If on private property, It's selfish and morally wrong. The points are collected for personal gain, and the sites are lost forever for any kind of educational knowledge.
i was raised in missouri .my brother was a big arrowhead hunter.he would go hunt after farm fields were plowed andhe would alwaysfind them. and we had acreek right behind our house and when we had hard rains and the water gotclear he would walk the creek . he did good there to.
Very, very interesting. Are those points made of chert? I live about an hours drive from a very large Neolithic flint mine called Grime's Graves in Norfolk in England. You can go down into one of the shafts and look into the little galleries and still see the marks from antler picks in the chalk.
Man. Those are some nice finds. That almost looks like the Harny rd spot in Hillsborough cnty before tons of wreckless people began leaving holes uncovered and got the heat put on that site. Anywhere in florida you might have treasure inches under your feet.
Stacy road grove was a sweet spot too! no one covers their hole lol we dug at night mostly, never got caught and never broke a point and never needed a spray bottle what's the point?
I just want to know how do you know where to dig? Are you on a known native settlement? Or just digging randomly? I want to do this but I feel like I would just be digging holes for nothing lol.
I wanna do this but have no idea where to search I'm living in north idaho we have alot of history here but still not certain where to go to find such cool things ! Great vid
The best place in my opinion is where they were making them, look for chips= and ask some old timers at the coffee shop history books I was born in malad grew up in Florida lol did some digging in hillsboro county found alot of beautiful points I would like to find something from Idaho too! Good luck you will find em if you look hard enough!
Great vid! I understand a chache would be buried deep so the natives wouldn't have to move them from place to place and could come back and retrieve/utilize their tools.. but why are just single points so far under? Newbie here, but has the earth moved that much or did development dump all that soil on top. Thanks!
Hey I would love to go out looking with you. I have some spots out in north FL that I have found some paleo points. Let me know if you would like to plan a trip.
Great video but could you explain what was happening in that area / Why are there so many finds in one spot . How are you shaving the walls with the large shovels ? No video time of that .. thanks
Hi that made my heart race! Beautiful pieces! I hunted up in Indiana and have a few decent spearheads! Could you please give me some advice on how to find a spot to dig! I know you can't just start digging a hole! Any advice would be appreciated!or maybe you can make a video for us novices!
Was wondering myself why the sand surrounding all those points is absolutely completely clean of any other objects or different types of soil or anything where these things were dropped placed or lost so to say. And all sitting perfectly level
How is it possible for every arrowhead you find is in the ground tip forward and where the heck are you digging because it seems like all the Indians just made the arrowhead and threw them in one spot or maybe they just went to that spot for the sole purpose of losing them LOL I’d love to do this but I have no idea where to go about doing it
South Florida?! I've always heard arrowheads were more rare here because of the lack of rock. Therefore they had to be traded for. Any insight would be appreciated.
@@williamthompson2908 i think IRC and north towards Sebastian and Mel Bch would be a gold mine with the Ais tribe and the shipwrecks and such. I'm digging up my backyard in Melbourne as we speak. Are you in IRC?

@@bobrinck1 How is it that points always seem to come out of the ground tail first? And at 4:49 the sand around the artifact looks unshaved. Curious.

Are there any public places in florida where we can go and hunt/dig for things like this?
No and if you do don't talk about it because it's illegal

Great site. Nice coral Hillsborough on the thumbnail. But how do yall avoid FWC? They dog us whether digging or diving.
Wow! Looks like ya hit the archaic layer. Gotta be Bolens further down. Subbed ya.

Nice
Killer Kirk site. Im jealous!!
Which American Indians inhabited that part of the country? What a wonderful artifact rich area. So many cool arrowheads and blades.
Strange how they were all in the wall facing the same direction...a little fishy?
Was wondering myself why the sand surrounding all those points is absolutely completely clean of any other objects or different types of soil or anything where these things were dropped placed or lost so to say. And all sitting perfectly level
love this! i was sent from joog
Great vid Rick I'll give you a shout out on my channel hey hold your phone sideways so you get the full screen format on UA-cam
Thanks Jay, I will from now on some of these I filmed before the thought of uploading.
What made u dig there the spot and depth
Did you just say Thonotosassa? Haha that’s where I hunt them 😅my parents live in Thonotosassa
I'm in Palm Bch County and cant find anything what so ever. Not even a flake!
Good day man....awesome
What kind of stone are they made of looks like chert.
Sweet points
I am 12 and at my house my family has found arrowheads there I have found about 8 arrowheads or 9
You are very lucky! Keep looking 🤘
By the way, nice points!!! 👍

WOW !!! =) Awesome !!! Killer !!! =D
What county are y’all hunting in
Where is ?
Very nice artifacts ! Was that all in one day or over a period of time ?
Over a period of time, about 4 or 5 days of digging.
How come every arrowhead was pointing almost exactly in the same direction? Is that even possible?
hoping you continue down for at least ten more feet look for pre clovis
Good advice to go deep! We always dig all the way to the hard pan. Our site is very odd some places thats 3 feet others its deeper than 10!
Niceeee
How do you determine where to look? Chips, blanks, etc?
Is this private property can you say where this was?
How do you know where to dig ?
How did you know to dig there?
Be careful don’t hit the arrowheads or accidentally tap them you’re going to chip them
Would you happen to sell any arrowheads?
Did you ever find any shark's teeth
Megalodon.
Panhandle Central or South Florida?
Where is this and when can I come visit?
I've gotta ask...what city/town is that in?
I wish I knew who would allow people to dig on their property , as I'm coming down in march...
South Florida?! I've always heard arrowheads were more rare here because of the lack of rock. Therefore they had to be traded for. Any insight would be appreciated.
Indian River County btw. Also have private property in the Duval/St John's area I'm planning to dig. By the intracoastal

Unin a good spot
I want to start doing this. How can I get involved?
I had never dug for any of my finds all been right on the above surface if i new a area too dig i would so enjoy the dig site
That's awesome you are lucky to have an area with good surface hunting!
Why do you suppose there are so many artifacts but no debitage?
Oh there are! We find hundreds of production flakes for ever arrowhead. We just don't film them all
