Hi Justin, I liked your approach to this new Sauvage elixir, and I got mine as well before watching this video, and I do love it, is the most complex of them all, I already restock on one more bottle since macy's had a a sale last week, and this one was included. I am still discovering it, but so far I am loving it.
Ordered one blind this morning. Decided to go smell it at my locale Macy's and ended up buying another bottle. My girl hooked me up with %15 off and a 10ml travel. It's mysterious and mature but it also has that Sauvage freshness. The licorice in the opening smells weird on a card. Please get this on your skin around the collar and see how beautifully this develops!
Yes that licorice scent is what hooked me on the Sauvage EDT when it came out. Since then I ask people when they compliment my scent if they like licorice and it's usually NO... but this fragrance line is top notch ✋ High five
@@lukedaduke4466 i dig the licorice vibe now. It was just too much on the card. In the air it's smells more aromatic and green. More like straight up star anise. On the paper it was syrupy and off putting.
@@adrianjeffrey2897 ok and i think Bleu de Chanel is 100x better than Sauvage. Way more classy and mature. How about that? Different people different opinions right? :-)
Just got a sample of this from my local department store, but haven't given it a full wear. It was intriguing when I first sniffed it. On paper, it was definitely lavender heavy with aromatic woody notes and something earthy like patchouli or vetiver. Going to try it out for a whole day soon.
It has 80s 90s vibe , the opening which last for a long time reminds me of drakar noir ... Performance is great , niche quality I'd say but I'm not really happy with the size NEED MORE 😁
Prob the first designer release in a while that I was excited about. I still have a beast mode bottle of the EDT... a little bit left, it's one of my grab frags when I don't know what to wear. I tried the EDP and Parfum, liked the Parfum better but not enough for me to purchase full bottle for either. Smelled this is store... liked it a lot. gunna grab it for christmas or a little before that maybe to wear in the fall time. .
This will be the kind of fragrance everyone's not sure at the beginning, but after everyone wears it for a couple of months and gets compliments, they'll realize it's true quality and will say REALLY good. Dior know what they're doing with this. I can see Elixir being an upscale event night out fragrance, I think it's perfect for that setting.
I was browsing Nordstrom's frags and this was one of the few ones I could not get for less online. It was on my mind for a while and I just bit the bullet and got it. I had 40 dollars in rewards points so I paid about 132 after tax. It's still not cheap by any strech of imagination but it's really solid. It lasts a good 10, 12 hours. And it's a bit vintage smelling. It smells like something from the 80s or 90s.

Nice Justin! I really noticed the difference in Elixir as far as the rest of the line is concerned. I didn’t have high hopes but ended up being pleasantly surprised. I defo will be buying a bottle at some point.
Really nice review. Calm voice and you wore it for a day while doing something you love. This is as good as a fragrance review is gonna get! 🔥✌🏼 Bought a bottle yesterday :)
This is a great perfume. The projection is excellent. If you want to stand out, this is for you. I tried 50 different perfumes. But none of the perfumes complimented me like Sauvage Elixir. It got a lot of praise. I sprayed it before going to the restaurant. A stranger even came up and asked what kind of perfume I was wearing. It's worth every penny.I loved❤
Man. This has surprised me. First Dior Sauvage that I pull the trigger for. There is something on the dry down that is Woody that reminds me of the dry down of Beach Hut Man. Also something similar to new York Intense by Parfums de Nicola. Haven't looked into the notes but let me know if you also pick up the similarities.
Got my nose on it today and I'm confused I don't love it but i dont hate it the dry down is nice the opening confuses me walk in target after and picked up a similar smell in the candle isle . Bought Ombre leather parfum instead but got a sample of elixer to give more time to it
The Elixir over powers basically everything. It’s different. I like it, very heavy on lavender, very strong Xmas vibe. When I spray it on inside my house I can smell it for the entire day in the room.
Bought a bottle and got the Rona, lost my sense of smell, can’t even smell a single thing 😭😭😭. Hopefully it returns soon so I can appreciate this beauty.
I had a woman legit following me in Sam's today 😂... She was following the trail and definitely was hypnotized! This grabs women attention and magical on skin!
I've had this on my counter for four days, unopened and I'm about to go ahead and pull the trigger❗ Today will be my first time smelling this and I'm hella excited! Great video, bro!
Dior didn't even need to give this the Sauvage name, they could have easily made it it's own separate line if they wanted to. I'd love to know what the oil concentration is for this one, it's that god damn strong I'd swear it was up around 50%. And Justin, in all honesty, four sprays is overkill bro, you only need two sprays max when it comes to this stuff haha. Thanks for the vid dude. This was a great review.
I got to test it at my local Macy’s yesterday. The opening has a light fougere-like smell that’s very pleasant. Once I got home about an hour later, I kept smelling my wrist and it had this faint Sauvage DNA with a very nice sillage. I sold my EDT long time ago and got me the parfum version, which I like so much better. I’m thinking about pulling the trigger on the elixir.
@@stayfreshproductions I just bought it bro! I agree with many of your subscribers about this review. This is exactly what subscribers (at least many of us) want. 🙏🏼

Now we wait for Chanel to release Bleu de Chanel Elixir :D
I tried blue channel and I didn't see what the big deal was. It sat on top of my sound and never really mixed with my body like savauge original did
@@adrianjeffrey2897 ok and i think Bleu de Chanel is 100x better than Sauvage.
Way more classy and mature. How about that?
Different people different opinions right? :-)
@@odinisyourfather4933 yes, even after getting and smelling different scents, makes me appreciate bdc even more.
Just got a sample of this from my local department store, but haven't given it a full wear. It was intriguing when I first sniffed it. On paper, it was definitely lavender heavy with aromatic woody notes and something earthy like patchouli or vetiver. Going to try it out for a whole day soon.
Yeah give it that full wearing!
It has 80s 90s vibe , the opening which last for a long time reminds me of drakar noir ... Performance is great , niche quality I'd say but I'm not really happy with the size NEED MORE 😁
Another fragrance in comparison to Savage EDT. Elixir longevity I had 4-5 hours max. Tested in Sephora
I just sprayed this FARENHEIT parfum and it's crazy. This is definitely a hot date scent. The vanilla and cinnamon blend it bonkers
Prob the first designer release in a while that I was excited about. I still have a beast mode bottle of the EDT... a little bit left, it's one of my grab frags when I don't know what to wear. I tried the EDP and Parfum, liked the Parfum better but not enough for me to purchase full bottle for either. Smelled this is store... liked it a lot. gunna grab it for christmas or a little before that maybe to wear in the fall time. .
It's really good.
Definitely want to check this fragrance out, hope all is well J Be Blessed brotha. 👍👍💯💯💯
Well-put!!
is it good for daily wear?
Your emotion made me buy this one immediatly . Nice Review , man
I hope you dig it!
@@stayfreshproductions it's on the way right now. Because i got 20% on sale from store , haha.
Keep up your good work , man
I'm impressed with your wordplay . Plus agree with your ownership of edt edp then elixir. That's the common stereotype lol great vid !
Thank you Ricky!
Hey Justin! It is one of those haha. Elixir sometimes just hits the spot for me. It's really good
I keep seeing great reviews about this, makes me want to try it. I haven’t been a fan of sauvage ever, but I’m interested with this one.
I hope you can check it out
I was browsing Nordstrom's frags and this was one of the few ones I could not get for less online.
You're so chill and mellow and I love that about you. Keep it up!
Thank you!
Great review. And now that it’s Winter, I’m getting it
I bought that black floral Express button up too! FLEEK!
Yessir!!
Hey Justin,
I really appreciate this type of channel, very wholesome persona, good reviews. Thankfully the opposite of most other fragrance reviewers. With you I can relate.
Keep up the good content :)
I've subbed, just to stay fresh!
Thank you Leeroy!!
@@stayfreshproductions Just comming back to the video after I pulled the trigger on this masterpiece today, I absolutely love it. All that's left is getting rid of the Covid Belly :D
Got mine too and did a review as well.. Can’t wait till October/November…however I just got this and I’m absolutely gonna wear it! Great review, Justin.
Yessir!! Thanks bro!
Great review! I like your description of it. An aura, a vibe. Classy moody fragrance.
Big fan of elixir. Just a shame about the price
Thank you!!
it’s great and of you ask me the price is a blessing. Because less people will buy it and it won‘t be the Same thing as with the Other sauvages
I finally got this with a discount from a local store. For less than 100 dollars, personally it's worth it.
Very good stuff by the dude. Keep it up and thank you 👍
Thank you!
Thank you for this explanation, your follower from Yemen🌹
Thank you friend!
Nice Justin! I really noticed the difference in Elixir as far as the rest of the line is concerned. I didn’t have high hopes but ended up being pleasantly surprised. I defo will be buying a bottle at some point.
I'm glad you dig it man!! I felt the same way.
Really nice review. Calm voice and you wore it for a day while doing something you love. This is as good as a fragrance review is gonna get! 🔥✌🏼 Bought a bottle yesterday :)
Thank you! Enjoy!
As long as you love the scent, it’s worth it!
It's so good!
I agree!!
Justin I just purchased Sauvage Elixir and YSL Nuit Bleu Electricque Man , I love them both in cologne oils
I'm glad enjoy them, Bruce!
Bought a bottle and got the Rona, lost my sense of smell, can’t even smell a single thing 😭😭😭. Hopefully it returns soon so I can appreciate this beauty.
I hope you get your smell back! That’s unfortunate. 😓
I had a woman legit following me in Sam's today 😂... She was following the trail and definitely was hypnotized! This grabs women attention and magical on skin!
how many sprays?
I've had this on my counter for four days, unopened and I'm about to go ahead and pull the trigger❗ Today will be my first time smelling this and I'm hella excited! Great video, bro!
Do it! Thanks bro!
Which of Sauvage line would be a good fit in +40°C environment?
Very Cool Spray
Officially my top 5 fragrances 🔥
Dior didn't even need to give this the Sauvage name, they could have easily made it it's own separate line if they wanted to. I'd love to know what the oil concentration is for this one, it's that god damn strong I'd swear it was up around 50%. And Justin, in all honesty, four sprays is overkill bro, you only need two sprays max when it comes to this stuff haha. Thanks for the vid dude. This was a great review.
Thanks man.
I have listened to other people's review on this .but I was waiting for ur review to finalize my decision. 😀
I hope you can try it!
The review I've been longing for✌️❤️
I got to test it at my local Macy’s yesterday.
Thanks for sharing bro! I feel you on all of this.
@@stayfreshproductions I just bought it bro! I agree with many of your subscribers about this review. This is exactly what subscribers (at least many of us) want.
🙏🏼
Good review.
Might try it for Autumn
Thank you!
Just got mine last week. Long lasting. I mix a little EDP with it also
Very long-lasting.
Good review. The compliment culture is hilarious within the fragrance community. Dudes act like you just walk around getting complimented 5 times a day. I don’t know that many people that just randomly tell people they smell good. Maybe on a date? But let’s not kid ourselves random compliments are rare
