At around the 5:40 mark it was stated the second gas setting is for suppressor. Adverse is more gas, whereas suppressor settings are less gas. The pistol doesn't have a suppressor setting. The carbine version does, but doesn't have an adverse setting.
I’ve had my 8.5 Bren 2 MS for 5 months now. No regrets. I should have went with the 11 inch but it’s all could find, when they sell conversions I will get one but I love it. I haven’t touched my BCM since
Rod Campos it’s just personal preference. I love my BCM but I’m also left handed and I find the ergos are better suited for me (and yes I have all ambi stuff) but it’s just more natural feeling. Plus it shoots great suppressed. If you want a softer recoil then BCM, as there is a slight more recoil (especially with the 3 prong) either way you will be satisfied. And side note with all the (Gucci/ambi stuffon my bcm I spent honestly about the same with the Bren and I just through on some HBI parts trigger, charging handle and safety
Rod Campos no problem, I mean I’m just an opinion on the internet lol but if you want something other than an AR it’s my go to so far especially when the conversion kits hit. But if you don’t have an AR already I would definitely suggest getting one (a quality one like BCM). Either way you’ll be happy!
bunnystein223 i have a saint in 556, but wanted something new heard bcm was the best and heard great things over the 10.5 upper but also wanted something new was going to go with a hk ump but too much of a pain to find at the moment and since this cz platform is sort of new for me was interested. A buddy had the carbine and I liked the way it shot but no one I know has the 11inch
@@KM_1983 some 7.62 versions had problems but I believe some do not depend which batch I believe they're fixed now or fixed soon but yeah 556 version is 100% solid.
I just sold an ar15 and a ks47 so I could put a 14 inch bren 2 in 7.62×39 on layaway. Id really like to know how it works for you suppressing your bren. I watched a video on military arms channel and he said that cz doesnt recommend suppressing the pistol for extended periods cus it'll beat up the action. I wanted to pin and weld a yhm muzzle brake to get 16 inch oal and put a stock on it. Wanted to use the original stock until I saw the price just like you noticed. Thanks for the video.
I just bought the Dan Haga adapter and the ACR stock for it, total was about $275. Haven't shot the pistol suppressed yet, hopefully it runs OK without beating it up too bad. Would kinda suck to not be able to suppress it.
You just need to use a suppressor with very low back pressure like a OSS Helix or CGS Helios. The suppression doesn’t hurt the action, it’s the excessive back pressure hitting the piston system too hard.
@@EricAnderson89 that sounds like semantics to me. It doesnt make sense to say its not the suppression that hurts the action, its the excessive back pressure, when it's the suppressor that causes the back pressure. Yes an oss would be a great option to mitigate the back pressure, but I'm already spending over $2000 to get the bren 2. I think a good idea would be to buy an extra gas regulator from cz and drill a properly sized hole for suppressor use on the 3rd position. 3rd position shuts off the gas so I would just start with the smallest possible hole and drill it bigger till it cycles with a suppressor.
I have the 11” 556 with the hbi hand guard do I have to take the hand guard off every time to clean the gas system/outer barrel or do you just leave the hand guard on and not clean those parts/area?
I have this same model with the 11" barrel. I hate the handguard though, ugly as hell Imo. I wish they would have left the handguard the same as the first batches that came out a few years back
I bought one, I like how it shoots, but its very expensive for what you get. They really should have included a nice padded case instead of just flopping it in a cardboard box. The M&P Sport 2 has a nice case inside the box and it costs considerably less. CZ also should have included some basic replacement parts like more screws for the handguard. You will probably destroy several if you try to remove them.
I'm sure it's probably just me, but I'm so tired of seeing a buffer tube on every damn thing that comes down the pike. I'd much rather have the Dan Haga ACR brace on that thing.
A rifle with a barrel length of 16" or longer and has a stock is a rifle. If it has a barrel length under 16" and has a stock it is a Short Barreled Rifle. If it has a barrel lenght under 16" but has no stock from factory or a brace it is a pistol. Very confusing laws in the Home of free. Do get me started on vertical foregrips!
“First impression and unboxing” on a firearm that you have already opened and took to the range🤔 SMH. Okay. Not really a “first impression” but, I do appreciate you bringing us your first thoughts of this weapon system and showing viewers what they will get in the box for the money.

@servant of jesus lots of problems w/ 7.62
Hb industries just released a 10.8 rail for the 11 inch
Just got one- looking forward to making parts for it..
I hope to God you make a simple M-Lok handguard like the first batches had. I'd most definitely buy one

Love your work I have a bnt brace and ather swag from ya. Love to see what you come out with for the B2

If you were to put a brace on this would be an “sbr”? Or is that only if it’s a stock? These dumb ass rules are confusing. Thanks
With the current rules, this would be an SBR with a brace or stock.

is this 11" version chambered in .223? or can it use both .223 and 5.56? thanks
It can use both. Any time a barrel is marked 5.56 it can do both.

Any cleaning vids/disassembly ?
Hmmmm not on the Bren. I'll add it to my list to do :)
Theres been one sitting at my local gun stire for a few months now
If they can put a trigger like that into the bren then why not the scorpion.
Yeh the trigger on the scorpion is terrible. That made decide against buying one 🤔

Does it use AR mags?
Yes

Any follow up vid ? How was it with a can ? How you gettin along with it ?
