OK SO 1 YEAR LATER IT TURNS OUT THAT TIP 5 IS A BAD IDEA, IT MAKES YOUR SABERS VERY WOBBLY. Keep it as close to 0 as possible, watch Electrostats' video about controller settings :)
its so funny cause i saw all those controller settings and what they did and did the exact same thing. now i know why i cant make a damn selection in the menu without looking like i have parkinsons
Not bad tip z index to 10, is less tiring to play songs. I miss regulate the player height and the jump distance depending on the map, but useful video!
this kid's charisma stat is off the charts. first video I've ever seen of him and his vibe is so cool and welcoming yet I'm not exactly sure what makes him neccesarily different from everybody else. also, the saber coordinates are ny far the best tip, now my sabers aren't in my fingers anymore. Instant sub, hope you blow up. in a figurative sense.
2:03 id like to add, that if you struggle with hitting blocks, if you are too short or cant reach them, then change the z axis adjustment. if you are like me, who can reach the blocks, this may decrease your accuracy instead of increasing
I've only been playing beat saber for about a month now and I can already play most expert songs, a tip I would like to give is USE NO FAIL AND PRACTICE MODE, some people would say "no-fail is useless" and all that but I say its quite useful, even on songs you never done before on a difficulty. That's how I got good at the game so fast and plus, I'm working on beating the hardest song in the game.
Yeah. Even if you fail, you can still keep going to get accustomed to the speed of expert+ and the patterns as wel. As you get more used to this, at the a certian point fast songs will start to feel as if they're slower. That means you're getting better at the game. Start playing custom song too. Not all of em are hard.
as osu! and punp it up player those 5th tips were real, last time i played osu! was 1 month ago and last week i had a good mood and suddenly cracked(well based on my usual peformence) on 5.6* maps all of sudden, like somehow i can aim and hit those annoying jump circles we need to lock in or those goofy slider that moves so fast, the same can be said on pump too! i suddenly able to conserve more stamina and move way less on higher difficulty outside my usual comfort zone there too so yeah seems that was the most important tips, and as avid rythm gamer all i need for beat saber was just the grip style
Hey mag! wondering what your saber positions are, want to start using different grips, i want to try the claw grip, and was wondering if there was some special saber pos. which worked better with that grip. Thx in advance!
how to you see a clock? btw here's a tip: if someone is a noob, they can start going up the modes so they are doing easy, they have to do normal then hard then expert then expert+ and they have to do the about 5-10 times on each mode, then when the go back to easy, it will be slower and more easier. Enjoy the tips new beginners!
I tested moving the position a axis all the way up, it didn’t work. The sabers have a hit box that stop at a certain point and that is at 5.50. But when you move it all of the way back, it removes most vibration and shakey movements your hands make, hence getting a smoother more accurate cut/swing, also changing your most dominant hand to the brightest color helps with focus because your brain tends to focus on your dominant muscular appendices and performance. So for example I’ll make my right hand silver and the left side darker like red or orange and blue, I recommend blue since it has more contrast but also doesn’t get in the way of your focus.
im getting my oculus quest 2 tomorrow and iwe seen waaay too many videos where the blocks come to the player face before the player is even able to break them the controller adjustment part really is what i have been trying to find for soo long
my tip would be to push yourself, even if you fail a map if you can do better then expected it shows improvement, of corse dont jump from hard mode default songs to a 14 note per second jump map but reasonably hard maps slighly outside of your skillrange will help. Using modifiers like faster song can help. I would not reccomend worrying about dissapearing arrows too much as when you get better you will be able to play with it as you can use pattern recognition instead of looking at every arrow direction. also, personally i would say you only need to worry about clothes in expert and higher difficulty. To be honest it isnt that big of a deal, i wear a hoodie when i play and im playing stuff like ov sacrament and sincest but do what you find comfortable.
I just want to know, HOW DID YOU PLAY WITH A SWEATSHIRT AND SWEATPANTS BECAUSE I DID THAT ONE DAY AND NEVER DID IT AGAIN BECAUSE THE LENSES FOG UP BUT HOWWWWWW

so are you usin steam vr for the quest, it looks so much better then the beat sbaer on my quest2. steamvr or dose beat saber look better on quest, woud i have to buy the quest and beat sbaer would look better?
tip 1) extend your sabers so they are like 14 feet long. Step 2, play maps with 4x the normal amount of bricks right in the middle so that you can just wiggle your little sausage wrists and hit all of the blocks.
do not take breaks. i tried it and now im not able to play a single song and my stamina has decreased so much that even if i could beat a song i wouldnt even have the stamina to get through 2/3's of it. every single time i play beat saber it just makes me wanna hit something.
Yes! I know this was a year ago and people probably know this tip but I’d suggest room adjusting yourself upwards so the blocks are more towards your waist! Only the bottom blocks though don’t make yourself the BFG ok?
One additional tip i have, is maybe rotate your wrist before rotating your arm. This is not helpful for all levels (like Full Charge Expert+) but it helped me beat Ghost Expert and Crystallized Expert+ Another tip i just remembered, is look at the blocks furthest from you so you can prepare the motion to slice those blocks.
