- Part 2 of a calm playthrough of the Bloodborne video game which takes us from the Cleric Beast boss fight to the Yharnam aqueduct.
If you are new to "ASMR" and/or my channel, welcome aboard and thanks for dropping by! The majority of videos I create, often in an unorthodox manner, are meant to help you relax, sleep, hopefully experience ASMR, and any other use that might help you find some peace of mind, concentrate, study, decompress, etc.
What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. It's just a non-scientific, made-up term that a layperson came up with to describe the feeling characterized as a pleasant tingling sensation felt in various parts of the body (head, scalp, back, legs, etc.) in response to various visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering, personal attention or watching someone perform a task. It's like goosebumps, but much more pleasant and without the uncomfortable chills.
ASMR videos are meant to intentionally induce this sensation in the viewer, often referred to as "tingles". However, the videos also serve to provide a relaxing, calming, comforting and soothing experience for people beyond ASMR purposes. Many people who do not experience ASMR still enjoy these videos. I experienced ASMR throughout my life, but no longer do.

My favorite game of all time, with the most unbelievable world building I've ever seen. As much as I want a Bloodborne 2, I almost don't at the same time. There is something so special about this game and I want it to just exist as this perfect entity in gaming that (almost) everyone adores.

The story will be ruined especially for the DLC
and if they make a bloodborne two and it has nothing to do with the original series it’s going to be like dark souls 2
The worst game from Miyazaki and from software
Dark souls three is a good game but too easy I’m currently playing it again since I’m bored
But bloodborne is a solid game and needs nothing more added to it
I would like a bloodborne two but I don’t see it happening and plus it’s going to be hard to make it a good game compared to the first
There wont be a Bloodborne 2 because Sony owns the game essentially and its not up to From Software whether or not there is another one. Also if there was another one it wouldn't be bad and it definitely would live up to this game, this is from software we are talking about not some shitty AAA game studio that produces the same garbage every year. There is no way they would release a game that would somehow ruin the originals story.
Only thing bloodborne needed was one more dlc

I started playing BB again and suddenly "Return to Yharnam" started, then I saw you recently made the first part of this, and someone else I follow randomly started playing it again. A pretty happy series of coincidences. Really loved the first part of this, and I'll be watching :D

I'm really enjoying this playthrough and the other ones. It takes me back to when I'd watch walkthroughs of games for when I was stuck. It gives me a sort of nostalgia I guess. Thanks for these and keep them coming.

one of my old housemates used to stay up late sometimes playing bloodborne downstairs. when i couldn't sleep i'd go and watch him play for a while. this kinda reminds me of those long evenings spent with friends that i miss very much. fond memories.

The graphics are incredible!
Miyazaki (the game director) is very open with the concept artists and artists in general. These games have amazing aesthetic and wonderful scenery because of that. Having places that quite literally where ripped from a painting.

Hi Uncle Rift, Souls-borne veteran here. Don't know how much you know about the game, so sorry if this is old info but here's a couple of tips to make the game easier!
1. The Saw Cleaver is actually one of the strongest weapons in the game. Its transform attack (R1 immediately into an L1, or any number of R1's into an L1) has very good damage, a large cleave, and some of the highest stagger damage in the game. Its also very spammable. You can R1, L1, L1, L1, ect to continue using the transform attack. It does far more damage than just R1's.
2. After getting hit, there's a short time where you can regain the lost health (depicted by the faded color on the health bar) from that hit by hitting enemies back. It encourages aggressive play and is very useful for saving bloodvials. When you get hit, try dodging past their attacks and hitting them for some of that health back.
3. Insight, the number under your blood echoes, increases by discovering new areas, entering boss fights and killing bosses. Also can be gained by using insight items like Madmans Knowledge. Some enemies gain new attacks at higher insight, and some don't even appear at all if you have none! It also decreases frenzy resistance the more insight you have. There is a insight shop around the wall left wall going outside if you are inside the workshop looking where Gehrman usually sits. You can buy a lot of useful stuff with insight like upgrade materials and weapon buffs like Firepaper.
4. Finally, as far as stats go, endurance isn't all that needed. It takes a very little amount of stamina to dodge and attack. I wouldn't go over 20 as other stats like Vitality and Strength for the Saw Cleaver and Kirkhammer are far most useful later. I'd go for 27 Vitality as that's when the health increase softcaps, meaning after getting Vitality to 27 you get about half the health per level as you were getting before. Strength softcaps at 40, making it very rewarding for leveling it consistantly. Unless you plan on using a skill weapon later, skill won't give you much of a damage increase as both the Saw Cleaver and Kirkhammer both scale very well with strength and very poorly with skill.
Again sorry if the info is redundant but just thought I'd share my knowledge with you. Bloodborne can be rough!

If you transform a weapon while in the attack chain after a attack, and pre-transformation it does the weapon transformation attack. It needs to be in a successive attack chain to do damage. Hope that helps in the playthrough and that you see this

Just saying you can always unlock and throw the molotovs that way.
I do it all the time in dark souls when the lock on annoyingly miss the enemy completely.
It will take some trying to get down.
But missing a Molotov then readjusting your aim and hitting one is better then lock screwing you over.
Walking foward and using the middle of the screen to aim is a good way to be more accurate when throwing items. Can even do it to throw items in front of you to halt enemy approaches.

I remember in 2015 I played all kinds of video games sort of and up that point they looked hollow to me, couldn't focus my mood to the game like i was used to growing up. So like tv looks hollow, movies - can't figure out what the * goes on, people in crisis, planes outsude speay chemtrails to manipulate wather, so i started focusing on listening old songs and paint shapes and film myself, and like what i painted filled up this hollowness, so if old movie looks weird and un perceptable i just download the mosaic or shapes that i painted and think about em. And suddenly the digital picture looks original. Like if landscape outside does not match movie you cant watch movie sort of thing, you know durring sunrise when the day looks like a desert scene or beach, you don't want the crazies ruining it, cause they will and you need a quiet day to see a movie or a game, kind of f f f f.

Sadly I never played Bloodborne but want to play it. Is it truly worth it, I wouldn't know I watched your videos at night around 12:00 to 3:30 and usually lose track of thought.
Just a quick note, you have to initiate the transformation attacks with an r1 or r2 attack

Uncle Rift I have an amazing idea. So, you say you don't like having the "grinding" put in the video but what if you actually DID put them in the videos but instead of just normal grinding, you speed up the recording and do some ASMR sounds with the controller while the sped up footage plays?
