If you've been a Christian for any length of time, you've likely experienced times in your relationship with God, where it has felt dry, distant, or isolated. Maybe your prayers just feel like they're not being heard . In this video, we walk you through 3 ways you can improve your prayer life when you're feeling isolated or alone.

Right after watching this, I prayed for God to help me with our relationship and also for the electricity as I have to study and guess what? THE ELECTRICITY CAME BACK WHILE I WAS PRAYING AAAAAAA!! This channel out of all Christian channels that I have watched and listened to on UA-cam is by far the most helpful on my Christian journey. This channel even gave me an encounter with God I will never forget.

@@alphanomega12 after watching the video I went into prayer and about a minute after I had this feeling of warmth in my soul, like it was being embraced and empowered. I started to tear up with a happiness I have never felt either. My world has changed now, everyday is fruitful and meaningful to both me and God and with much thought on that night I realized I was given the holy spirit.

@@Kitiwake Those who acknowledge the Son will acknowledge and worship the Father AND the Holy Spirit. None come to the Father except through the Son. It is the Holy Spirit who calls us to Christ, who dwells within us and guides us on our journey.
I am 56 yrs old and have never had a relationship with God. Recently I have encountered some dark entities around me so I sought out help through a local church. I realized that I welcomed these dark forces in by opening doors and the only way I could get rid of them what's through prayer and to repent my sins. This was going to be hard because i had no spirituality so I started by watching movies on the Life of Christ. Once I was familiar with that I was better able to understand the Bible. I like to pray along several youtube channels. I have started to feel my energy rising and I feel a great sense of calmness and well-being.. prayer is truly working in my life.

3.I pick a person to pray for
4.3 things I did bad (3 sins)
5.3 goals for tomorrow
6.3 of my worries
7.3 things I learned today
8.3 things I did good
9.good night please let me dwell peacefully in your presence and protect me and my family during the night thank you lord love you amen ❤

Wow the very first comment I looked at when I looked at the comments was pretty much the very same big that I was going to say here I sit in tears because I quit smoking weed while back and I’m going through withdrawals and I also quit looking at porn at the same time, God is open the windows have blessed me financially and spiritually beyond all my expectations. I literally just prayed about this very thing in the last couple of days. As a person who has spent some years living outside of their faith several months ago I made the choice to get back on the right path with God. It has not been an easy journey, There have been many obstacles to over come along the way. Long story short, I felt my prayers were getting (dry) as you put it and a day or two later this video shows up in my YT feed (amazing), It's little things like this that show God is listening. It honestly brought tears to my eyes.

None of us are good enough. Jesus took care of that on the Cross. There is therefore now no more condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus (Roman's 8:1). When you accepted Jesus as your Savior, you are now in the family of God, so He hears you and cares. It's not about feelings, it's about FAITH. The Just shall live by faith. I’ve got dry too, and so I’ve started a prayer bible, putting tabs to find verses about various topics, so I can go to them one after the other and turn them into prayers. That way I’m praying scripture back to God, and in so doing I hope I’m praying or thanking him for something within his will (which I can hope he will answer) or for something he’s done, ie praise and thanksgiving.
It’s being a great inspiration to me to have something to say which reminds me about how great God is!
Get yourself a cheap little bible for the purpose and something to make tabs with, like washi tape or ready made tabs, and you’re good to go. There are plenty of videos about prayer bibles as it’s a bit of a rage at the moment. I’ve found it helpful though, and it’s not a new idea.

I find myself praying the same prayers everyday, but I'll always let the Lord know how I'm feeling and I pray for him to guide me. I pray right before I read the Bible. I'll pray for wisdom to understand what I'm reading. ✝️🙏💜

This was awesome. I think i found my new favorite Christian channel. Searched "how to pray" and this was the first result. And wow, simple and effective, and really made me feel much less intimidated to speak with the Lord. I strufgle with prayer because i always fear im doing it wrong, or not seriously enough, or not deeply or thoughtfully enough. Thank you. Praise God and may he bless you and everyone.

Thank you for this video. I watched a video of Imbeggar about why we need God before this. It strengthened my longing for connection with God but I complained to myself that it felt mundane and repetitive the last times I prayed and asked myself if that means that I just cannot connect with God properly. I want to learn so much but I feel held back, I feel as if I will never know enough, I want to become a pastor or some kind of biblical teacher cause I love to teach and help others. But I’m introverted and I struggle with speaking, I stumble on my words, I read the Bible a lot and some days I really understand it but there are verses that just don’t make sense to me and I wish I knew how to study better, I love knowledge and I seek it and I pray for it, I just pray that I can have wisdom and understanding on Gods word so I can help others through him

I have learned to pray quoting directly from Bible scripture, praying in the "first person" I.E. replacing "We or us" with "me or I" where appropriate try it with Colossians 1: 9-14 Also ALWAYS Quote Romans 8:26-27 8:26In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.8:27And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will. I've recently being brought back By a friend To church, I started To read the bible and i want to play but dont know where To start or What should I say. Those tips were helpful, but i'm still a bit at a loss on how, when and how often should i pray?... once a day? twice a day? once or twice a week? Can i pray for God To bless people that died?
Prayer should be balanced with how much you read the Word. If you pray more than you read the Word you become more emotional, but if you read the word more than you pray you tend to become religious. I encourage you to pray everyday, I’m guilty of not. But acknowledge that Jesus is real and alive, like a friend next to us we can’t just talk to them once a week, we have to have fellowship with them and talk with them. The Bible says in psalms 1 to delight in the Word day and night and you produce a tree of living water planted by streams.
