Or a beer, or a burrito, or whatever! I will use the time it takes to move from one place to the other to rehydrate or eat a snack. It's great to have your hands free. Although, I plan to do a mod that I saw on youtube to change out the stretchy Rudder string with some braided wire so you are not constantly having to adjust the rudder.
I loved my tempest 120p. I had mine for 2 seasons. I've finished all my life, but setting up a one man fishing machine is awesome. I had everything on mine. Electronics, lights, batteries, and ran a Bixpy on the vibe Gravity rudder. That Bixpy on that kayak works incredible. Now I have the impulse 120, fin drive in the SEA-FOAM, special edition color. I kept all my add-ons, electronics, accessories, from my tempest. But now I run the NK-300 From Newport vessels. I love the Hoodoos. They give you all you need plus little extras. Epic kayak, when they're set-up. 🌊 🌴 🎣
How do you like the impulse 120 compared to the tempest? I’m considering the tempest but I’m wondering more about stability as far as being able to stand and fish
Oh I for sure remember that corner back there, I haven’t tried again since the downed trees but i’m tempted to go back and try again since there were springs back there
Right on man! I have The Molten Lava and the Purple Haze! They are great kayaks for the money for sure. I'm fishing the panhandle Gulf Coast. St. Marks Wildlife Refuge, by the lighthouse is a great place to put in. The hard part is finding the time to go out and fish. Stupid Jobs!
Congratulations on the new yak! Gotta Collab again in 2023 👍🎣 Maybe the Baitshop boys can do a big Collab down on the Indian river again for a snook fest #getoutthehousegofish
I rolled mines twice initial voyage, I have outriggers that I will install, it's kind of tipsy, to be honest , I haven't given up , going out again soon I'm 5'11 and 275 , which could be the reason for stability issues
so that was a mount from the previous guy and it ended up working really well. I'm going to adjust it a little so it can hold the gopro and the phone and go from there, overall YES
it's an awesome feeling sitting on a still lake enjoying your coffee on a kayak. congratultions.
It really is! Can’t wait to take it out more!

It was a toss up between this and the impulse, I ended up on this because the impulse doesn’t have reverse or I woulda gone with the impulse

It wasn’t blocked where it was last time but it was still blocked 😭

I wanna take it offshore for Bonita and what not!
So happy for you. Never turning back huh?
Never ever
Great video. I'm 6'4'', will I fit easily?
I’m 6’3” and I fit great

I found it to be less stable than I thought it would be. Hoodoo now makes outriggers for it now. I have gotten pretty used to it.
Did mounting the rod holder on the prop work well? Didn’t get in the way at all?

is this off of 17 lol?
