@valorfishing thanks brother I have an element 100s I love but I am upgrading and doing tournaments this year in saltwater and the current has been challenging with the paddle while fighting big reds. It seems very stable
@@heathwatford1737 I came from a “paddle only” kayak. I know how hard it is to fish and keep yourself from not smacking something especially with the wind lol. The tempest 120 is definitely worth looking into. Even their new kayak that’s a 10ft pedal drive would be great also. I think it’s called the voyager. Good luck on your tournaments!
Great video! I'm interested in this one. Its a lot of value for the money. I just got into kayak fishing and got a paddle kayak a Moken 10 and already wish I would have got a peddle drive. As for the paddle holder just go with a yakattack one. It mounts in the rail so you won't need to drill any holes. Just make sure to crank it down I had it pop off once. Can't wait to see you catch some big ones!
@Valor Fishing yea I pulled them out I've only taken it out a few times I was like ur dad in that one video when he flipped it lol but I did get a little better after a few hours I'm also on the heavier side at 275 so that might not help 😅
Nice video. Use to have Native Slayer Propel 13. I think the pedal drive is far better than a fin drive. You should re-run your control lines for the rudder. What does the bottom of the hull like?
The hull for the most part is empty. I want to change the rudder lines for sure. Just not so brave to do it myself hahaha. Hopefully one day! I wanted a native so bad but I just could afford to spend that amount right now. Maybe my next kayak!
Great vid man! A lot of help! Can’t wait to get mine.
Thank you!
Great video. I'm 6'4'', will I fit easily?
Oh yes. If he mount the seat back in the furthest position you should have more than enough room. I know someone who’s 6,6 and fits in it hahaha.
How hard is it to reach your crate with that compartment between the seat and tank well?
Not hard at all. The distance looks bigger on video lol.

I have one but I want that rail free for other things hahaha. It’s a good kayak, the drive is amazing! Can’t go wrong with it.
I have this kayak and i have alot of issues with stability it feels super tippy 😢 im still new to it so im hoping i just need to get used to it
Take the scupper plugs out? Takes some time to get use to it.

@@beandip3553 I’m 251, all I can say is, just keep trying, you’ll eventually get use to it. And it will get easier. Post some videos lol
@Valor Fishing lol I'm not pretty enough for youtube 😆 but thanks for the replies tight lines!
@@beandip3553 anytime man! Thanks for looking at the channel! I appreciate it and am very thankful!
i ran steel cable for the rudder and reversed it up at the handle and its been great for me, i have a fish finder on mine maybe i should show it
Yes do it. I need to make an updated wok through on mine. I’ve added. Few things since then lol. Check out my short videos you’ll see the upgrades.
Can the propeller go in reverse if you pedal backwards?
Yes sir! That’s the main reason I bought it. Well and the price lol
You might adress it. But can u put a motor prop on it?
Yes you can

@@valorfishing watch the Native video rudder cable change out. It’s not difficult. I am thinking of getting this yak, to replace my Moken 10.
@@jameshoggard7471 that video will help me change the cables on my tempest?
