At least you will get new dash ;-) I got old. Ordered end of February. Got it in november. Lovely drive, but eats minimum 9l/100km.. :( (6000km. topped up only cooling fluid 3dcl)
I’ve had mine for about 3 weeks now and still can’t make my mind up if I’ve made a mistake was an impulse purchase as it was a cancelled order and available straight away. 77 miles and I’ve got the engine malfunction light on. Did anyone mention that the wiring loom under the vehicle is covered in a sawyer based wrap and rodents are chewing through the wiring probably not ? In my opinion the people at ms-rt don’t take much pride in their work. Think I’ve got myself another Dagenham dustbin. 😂
Sorry to hear your having problems. MS-RT are only responsible for the upgrades to the body and interior, they have nothing to do with the base vehicle as far as I’m aware.
I seen a ms-rt on a 74 plate in acklam car sales and the front wings which were made from fibre glass as the rest of the body kit were a very bad fit and the motor was a genuine ms-rt vehicle witch is made in Carlisle 🤔
Same here mate, hate it when an MSRT appears outside the Bodyshop, you just know there’s an angry customer who’s spent 60k on a van with a cheap max power bodykit 😂
Why are the MS-RT Transits on the log book upto 2023, registered as a Limited which they are based on, instead of MS-RT. The dealers register the van but why not as a MS-RT? why is that? This cause's problems for insurance, (for personnel, not business cover) as when you put the reg number into lots a comparison sites it comes up with a Limited. If you then insure that van as a Limited and not as a MS-RT, if you claim it will be invalid. Even trying to manually change it on a quote it wont accept it. P.s. Shame Ford wouldn't let you up the power on them, 170ps just isn't enough.
@@simonbowler1 The brand new model maybe but not the out going model. The vehicle is registered with dvla by the dealers not MS-RT themselves. I have the last of of the MS-RT's and that is a Limited on the log book. Aviva web site you can manually change it from Limited to MS-RT. £70 000 for a van. I got a second hand mrst 1st gen biggest mistake of my life. Nice van but not a work van Goes on site and gets fucked. Old connect getting fixed. Because I can't handle mixers or delivery lorrys near it.
#DJLEWISDK#TEANLOUDNPROUD det må da være lige noget for dig Martin og den koster vist ikke meget mere ind en Explorer og den kan også fås i en 2.5 hybrid.
Worked on a number of these now and every customer that I speak to are unhappy to say the least. Problem planners gaps and them not lining up. Also all round poor workmanship
@@samledger9599 you haven’t watched the video then as stated msrt is not based on limited spec any more Motion r on the other hand is and not ford recognised
Terrible build Quality.. poor fitting doors, Carpets, trims, poor paintwork. Wet belt engine. A 50grand van.. that is very very poor. Earlier MK7 was way better built
extended wheel arches...wait hold up a second I'll just go fetch my magnifying glass 👀
Gorgeous looking van great content as usual.
Thank you! Cheers!
Absolutely love these vans. 🫡
👍
Nice looking van massively needs black headliner on the interior front
Thank you for the Video. Too bad that its only for the Transit and not for the Tourneo😢
Blue calipers exclusive to us 😂
Lovely van mate but where did you get those jeans I want pair of those
The new Turini Purple is a lovely colour in person, just a shame the build quality of the side panels are shocking on the new transit
Been waiting since march last year😮
They are in high demand! You will love it when it arrives

Paint matching on the bodykits it’s terrible on the new ones I have seen. These vans are proper bodge jobs.

I think you can trade it in in three weeks. Happy new year🎉🎉🎉
Simon, if you want to store longer items in the van but need the 2nd row you could spec an L-shape bulkhead but not sure available as MS-RT.
Ah that would be an interesting option, good shout 👊
Ford transit custom msrt, absolutely stunning with tons of options. Please tell me they got rid of that rubber band engine ?
Ive never had a problem with the engine, my last 3 vans have been Transits
No it’s still in there unless you go for the 2.5 petrol “hybrid” 32 miles on battery only 32 miles what a joke 😂
Wonder how much more it costs for the msrt over the same spec engine etc against the sport or ltd
I think the closest comparison would be the sport but I couldn't tell you to be honest. You can spec them on the Ford Website though
@@simonbowler1 roughly £15k more than sport and £20k limited
You’ve enjoyed people looking at you in brightgreen van,,,,haha we don’t need telling haha😂
ha ha!
Absolutely expensive garbage, lost count of the kits peeling paint, blisters, skirts falling off we have fixed under so called ford warranty.

do they get stolen a lot?
So you like it then 😁😁😁😁
ha ha yeah you could say that!!!
bonjour il t il possible d avoir en 7 place aux lieu 5 place ????
What’s with the silly spoiler on the back of the van? Makes it look like a giant shopping trolley. 😂
It's my favourite bit!

As far as I knew it was a registered model in its own right! Not sure on that one, maybe get in touch with MS-RT, I’m sure they could help

You just need to send the V5C and proof that it's an MSRT to the DVLA and they'll update the log book.

What's wrong with your van
Nothing, I just had this one on loan for a bit to try out!
